Palin's Alaska...

Going where no woman has gone before, Sarah brings us into her state, and her home. First show seen in 5 million homes.

5 million homes tuned to The Learning Channel (TLC) on Sunday night  to see the first of Sarah's television shows about Alaska and the Palin family.

It was a good program.  The vistas of Alaska are breath taking, and this first show demonstrated to the nation just how close nature is to humanity in Alaska.  For a Texan, the scens of the large bears in the proximity of the boat Sarah and her family were fishing from probably would not be too alarming. But, for those on the coasts, seeing that must have sent shock waves through people who think squirrils are the ultimate in wild life.

Sarah and her family opened themselves up to America and to the critiism that is sure to come.  And there are seven more hour long segements.

But in my view, Sarah is doing exactly what America needs, if it is to seriously consider her for the office of President.

Liberals and Republican television personalities have attempted to remove Sarah from consideration by degrading and demeaning her.. They have questioned both her experience and her intelligence.  By doing this program America gets an opportunity to make up its' own minds.  Here in Texas, when Sarah comes, the Oil Palace in Tyler fills to hear her.  She speaks our language, if not with a Texas accent.

Sarah is the epitomy of NOT - Washington! Her life style, her mindset, her experience, and her values all reflect an America outside the Beltway, where almost all Americans live.

I for one believe Sarah would be an excellent President. I will be watching the rest of the shows with keen interest.  They are on Sunday on TLC...tune in.
