The Elephant in the Room: Ron Paul Parapraxis - a suppressed truth, revealed in a mistake.by Madison Thacker
(Libertarian)
Sunday, December 30, 2007
CBS News may have inadvertently revealed the truth about Ron Paul. The image in the article may represent a classic case of parapraxis, a suppressed truth, revealed in a mistake. In this case, the suppressed truth is that Ron Paul is being deliberately ignored. He's the elephant in the room, or in this case, the elephant in the box. Why is this truth being suppressed? Because although he's not the most "presidential" looking and he's not the most polished public speaker, nevertheless:
He's the only real conservative Republican in the race.
He's the only candidate who takes the Constitution seriously.
He's the only candidate who hasn't been corrupted by globalism.
And he has a very good chance of winning.

It is very obvious to any honest concerned citizen to see that our system of government has collasped. The globalists who control our government ,media and justice department are now in total control and unless the people unite and fight back, things will get much worse. The fear they have of Ron Paul is alarming to them.
They are simply trying to create a large public base that think Ron Paul is mariginalized, unlikely to win and not supported by anyone and a racist.
As long as they ignore him people will assume it's because he doesn't have as much money or as many supporters but he has more money and more supporters than some of the dudes they are embracing on television.
Never before has the elite influence been more obvious- this is the death knell of democracy in the free world.
I find it remarkable that in a supposed "democracy", that one candidate can be earmarked to be un-reported by a major news media. Are they afraid of Ron Paul? I would think they would be more afraid of exposing our political system to resemble that of a "banana republic". How low can the political process debase?
To start with my comments about the above picture, it only shows the Corp. Shills and that can be good for Ron Paul ! As for his Not being a presidential looking man, what does one look like ? Did LBJ look presidential ? Not at all but putting Paul up as a man with Honor, Truth, Wisdom , distinction, etc. he can and Will look everything like A real President .
Boycot all Major TV liers , turn off the News and go online for the real truth, listen to patriotic radio and so on, times waisting people, "they" still have one year to take away your last freedoms . GOOD LUCK
Bank predicts Ron Paul win, US slump Thu, 27 Dec 2007 06:08:48
Denmark-based Saxo Bank predicts Ron Paul presidency in 2008, saying US economy will plunge into a depression prior to the election.
The Bank predicted that Ron Paul, US congressman and Republican presidential candidate, will win the US 2008 presidential election.
Saxo Bank says the US economy will shrink by 25% and the Chinese economy will decrease by 40%. The economic downturn will come about as a result of the housing crash.
Ron Paul has been critical of the Federal Reserve and has blamed the Federal Reserve for causing the real estate bubble and crash. Paul has said that the loose monetary policy of the Fed had artificially inflated real estate prices which lead to the collapse.
Paul supports 'Sound Money' and opposes the Federal Reserve's 'Inflation Tax' and says that he wants to prevent a dollar collapse.
Saxo Bank also predicts $175 a barrel for oil and the price of grain will double. Some have predicted that oil will climb to $250 a barrel if the US attacks Iran. The bank also predicts that 30% of large building companies will go bankrupt.
Despite all the evils, at least the USSR was honest and upfront that they controlled Pravda. But then, that was communism. In the USA, the state lets it appear that the press is free and independent, that is until they open their mouths and reveal they are on the same team. I think that is called Facism. Wait, I think Ron Paul already said that?
Hello all and Happy New Years. To anyone who supports Ron Paul, there has been a goal set to reach $20 million by midnight. We are only $835k away and no one knows how much $ from offline the campaign may dump today (could be substantial). We may anly need $500k or so. Please consider sending the DR. a couple bottles of champagne ($20 or whatever you can afford) to reach the $20 million dollar prize. If nothing more, its is a big psychological number 20 vs. 19.

I pray that Dr. Paul can indure the road ahead of him. It will take a lot of corroperation from us and our government to meet his goals and asperations. The people will need to have faith and relize that we will have to sacrafice to bring our country back to where it should be. "God Speed Dr. Paul"

The democrats have their own 'elephant': Dennis Kucinich is also being ignored. Though I admire and respect Dr. Paul, and though I agree with much of the agenda of the Libertarians--especially their definition of freedom--I fear that if they gain power they would throw the baby out with the bathwater. The world is more complicated than it was in Jefferson's time, and we have problems today that could only be imagined by the aristocrats who put the Constitution together (mostly to save their own butts). As long as laissez faire corporate capitalism exists, those of us who are not entrepreneurs, but who, nevertheless, make a valuable contribution to society (teachers, artists, etc.) need some program that allows us to survive in a world where 'anything goes'. Social Security is one of the best things that our government created, and I fear it would be abolished if the Libertarians gain power and reduce everything to a strict constructivist interpretation of the Constitution. Likewise, nothing in the Constitution adresses the problem of health care. The pharmaceutical companies would like nothing better than to see libertarians in office.
All things considered, I have trouble wrapping my mind around Ron Paul. Dennis Kucinich, in my mind would be the better choice. If only he would address the Drug War, he would have it down perfectly in my opinion. No candidate from either party has expressed any interest in abrogating the 1886 U.S. Supreme Court decision Santa Clara County v Southern Pacific RR that gave corporations so much power. Corporations are not persons and are not entitled to equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment. Nor has any of them stated opposition to another Supreme Court decision (1895) Sparf v. U.S. As a result of Sparf, magistrates are no longer required to inform the jury of their right to nullify an unjust or unfair law, and defense attorneys are prohibited from doing so. The right of Jury Nullification dates back to 1215, and though prudence dictates that it be used sparingly, it is the sine qua non of democracy.
How does Dr. Paul stand on the Taft-Hartley Act.

It is a sad statement that Ron Paul has been left out of many debates and is basically a blind spot to the US media (including FOX - the Bushie channel), and that makes a statement about the decline of the USA itself. It will be a miricle if he can pull some rabbits out of the hat (yes I support him), but it will be very difficult to do so.
I think if Ron Paul does not get the nod from the sleeping American public this time, then the USA as we have known it will vanish, and it will be the publics fault that this is allowed to happen. In this battle, we we lose the war, we lose our very existence as a free nation. This time there is no 2nd chance.
Dilbert and Denise The US was not meant to be a democracy. Democracy is analagous to communism. Democracy is communism by stealth instead of a violent revolution. The US started as a pure republic, the only system at least partially for the people. The money powers after several attempts finally started changing it to a democracy in 1860's and now to a fascist oligarchy first by financial strangulation through the Federal reserve and then by Zionism another Rothschild ism. Now it's a colony of Israel which is another Rothschild creation.
all these comments talking about laws that should be changed lets repeal the 1871 or 73 where dc was seperated from the union, that is one that definitely should be reviewed and repealed

A lot of words Terry. The point is that this country needs a different course. Dr. Ron Paul is showing us a path out of the mess our government is in now. This effort to turn things around will hinge on slow continuous change. The situation we're in will not be easy nor be quickly turned around. It will require deep thought and execution to solve the issues this transsision will cause. If this transpires, the voids of power left vaccant by the ellite, will require close and immediate attention to insure that things don't run amuck.
Policy's and changes will not take place overnight. It will require diligence and preserverance to turn the country in the right direction. This will need to be inacted without trying to disrupt everyday government business.
The concern is that Dr. Paul does not meet his demise from adversaries that wish to keep control. I pray that Dr. Paul and us will prevail.

the whole system is rigged. never to be fixed. should miracle of miracles occur and he get the nomination, the balloting is corrupted. free yourselves. the republic is dead. the rich guys'll always buy the lawmakers. solution? situate yourself as far away from them as you can.
keep your passport, leave the US.
Ron Paul is the only hope for our nation. At the end of Tim Russert's "interview" with him, browbeating all the way, he said to Dr. Paul "be safe." Does he know something?
Economic democracy is like two foxes and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Seriously, all we need to do to win this thing is to register to vote, and to show up at both the caucuses and the primaries. Do so as if your future depends upon it because it does.
As an immigrant, now an American citizen with an opportunity to vote in a second presidential election, I could only appeal to the American people the need to re-think the original reasons for the War of Independence. "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" is what appeals to people like us who immigrate to make success of our lives, and be integrated in the community. Instead I see polarizing politics, and a coming class warfare, isolation and increasing resentment on the world scene. Neither party has an interest in changing their power status-quo, and as result their policies. I see hope in Ron Paul. I hope for his success.
Why should this surprise us? The mainstream media has long been owned by the political establishment. The challenge is how does Ron Paul get his message out if he is denied media access? In 1992, Ross Perot had name recognition and billions and still couldn't gain access.
I have this to say. Perhaps I've walked the earth longer than many of you so a return to the 50's is necessary. I encourage everyone to visit www.oilempire.us. This country died in one second on November 22, 1963. Begin with Eisenhower's admonishments about the growth of the military/industrial complex...and JFK's intent to end it. BOOM...gone in one second. They blew his brains out. Senator Arlen Spector, who came up with the famous single bullet theory is still being rewarded for his part in the most outrageous continuing coverup in the history of this country. What does that say about our government?
