President Obama's post election press conference was not bad, in some respects, but he stands defiant as a liberal. by Mark Vogl

Though he admitted very late in the press conference that last night's election results were a personal shelacking, he refused to admit his policies were the cause of the tragedy. President Obama pointed solely to the economy as the cause of his party's defeat. President Obama seems to believe that frustration over a sagging economy and high unemployment are the sole reasons for the huge conservative gains,
In a steady, calm voice, President Obama literally ignored the anger of the American people over illegal immigration, homosexual rights, national health care, and the Democrats tyrannical governing style.
In addition, President Obama seems to be tone deaf to the high living he and his wife have flaunted while much of the nation is really suffering. even when asked if he might alter his personal leadership style, a very polite way of addressing the President's golf, basketball and vacation schedules.... Obama said no, he won't change his style.
President Obama seems to be saying, if we can get the economy going, and really get Americans back to work that all would be well.
Obama ignores American rejection of socialism in national health care, American belief in Christian values including the sanctity of marriage and the perversion of homosexuality. Obama seems to believe that transparency is when government leaders tell the people...you can read the bill after we pass it.
Unfortunately, Obama may be right. It may be if the economy is fixed, the American people would go back to sleep.
But I dont see the economy correcting. Pending implementation of national health care, tax increases, and continued globalization policies will prevent any real economic gains..
