A week to go, and Obama and liberal policies are the very best campaigners for conservatives! by Mark Vogl

If you have ever gone to the beach anywhere along the Atlantic Ocean coastline, you have seen the waves develop far out from the beach, and watched them gradually rise and roll towards shore, getting larger and more forceful as they approach. When you first see them, they were but a mere rise, and than began to grown as they moved forward...until they came crashing ashore.
Well, the conservative tide is building.
Removal of "don't ask don't tell policy", pending expiration of the Bush tax cuts, continued social, health and education expenses for illegals, a sagging economy, all contribute to what may be a real political tidal wave on November 2d. .
And how 'bout the arrogance of the Democrats as they forced their agenda though Congress? Can anyone honestly defend a Speaker of the House who could say "You won't know what's in the bill til we pass it." ? Can anyone defend senators and congressmen who don't read bills which affect hundreds of billions of dollars in spending?
Our nation is as divided as it was before the War for Southern Independence, called the Civil War by most. Those who benefit from government benefits, those who earn their living from any level of government are not feeling the pain of the rest of us. The perfect example of today's economy is that Washington D.C. leads the nation in job creation!
The Democrats refused to listen to the people. It was their way or the highway! Well now the people have an opportunity to clearly tell them to hit the road.
So join the conservative tidal wave...and make a real difference. The larger the Republican majority, the more chance to fix what the Democrats have done before their mistakes adversely affect our nation.
Do your civic duty...and go vote.

Who are you kidding? Is it actually your contention that Republicans are reading the bills before signing on? The time when Republicans can fool people who respect liberty into voting for them is going to end. There is only civic duty among slaves. This is no conservative wave we're witnessing, only the typical push and pull between statists on the left and right. The tea party is already showing big government tendencies and that is what history shows us we'll get from both parties? Why give credit to a system that destroys liberty by adding votes for those that compromise liberty?
