SB 1070 or not to SB 1070

Where the bill impicates subject of race as a matter instead of being looked at as a proper measure of sovereign rights to the American people.

After years of complaints to congress it should not be a surprise that S.B. 1070 is a relevant issue.  America built fences on the border of Mexico for a reason.  They wanted to stop illegal immigration from Mexico.  The influx of illegal aliens from the Mexican border is tremendous.  Something has to be done about it so now legal action is being pursued.

One of the biggest problems with the entire situation is race, and Mexicans feel they are being discriminated from America because of their ethnicity.  Now Americans of all nationalities are being slandered with guilt moves of a racial nature.  This is a tactic being used by illegal immigrants to push a stalemate on the law as being unconstitutional.  Even though many Mexicans share a common skin, hair, and eye color that does not apply to all of them.  Actually there is a populous of Mexican peoples who do not resemble someone you would picture as a Mexican National.  They have citizens of many skin colors, and backgrounds.

So to declare this as a race issue should be counted out on its own accord.  The law in question implicates police to subject people by description.  This shouldn’t be considered a racial injustice either.  That happens all over the country no matter what race or gender someone is.  When a crime is committed, and a description is made that type of person is pursued.  Nothing wrong is being done here because that is what police do.  They are following protocol, and that is their job.

It does not go unnoticed that illegal immigrants are very upset in Arizona at this time, and may be even more upset in the future.  They want amnesty, and they want rights.  Really Americans can all agree that everyone deserves these rights but everyone earns them at a cost.  That is why we pay taxes, and that’s why we have gone to war to protect our sovereignty.  How redundant would it be if the United States of America just suddenly started letting the whole world have their way with us.  We would no longer stand as a nation.  We would be in turmoil, and defeat.

The issue is illegal immigrants feel we do not allow them the opportunity to become Americans.  This is completely absurd considering there are naturalization offices all over the nation.  Every immigrant can go to these offices, and apply for citizenship the legal way as it is stated in law.  Many of them feel this is unnecessary because we have taken something from them or the United States is subject to reprimand amongst the Mexican people.  Well America is as it stands, and for the time being we are only acting upon our rights to stay a sovereign nation.  Truly the one thing Americans want is for the illegal aliens to be documented, and accounted for.  There is no crime in that, and how could there be?  We have the right to know what is going on in our country, and not cut any corners when doing so.  S.B. 1070 is a step forward in the right direction, and should not be subject to fear or guilt tactics.

I find this morning's news that the ICE employees' union voted unanimously to express no confidence in their leadership and their policies very interesting.

ICE employees' do not adovocate racism, and many of them are latino American. If anyone subjects themselves to being a gestapo they are only judging themselves. Nobody said they had to act radically to irradicate Mexicans from Arizona, and actually that would be really ignorant to behave that way. ICE agents should only pertain to what they are supposed to do. Really SB 1070 would focus primarily on criminal activity that is reported. Trespass, GTA, Drug Dealing, Violence etc... Nobody is putting the finger on Mexicans as being any different from any criminal. It is just the rapid movement of criminal actions that is getting people worried. Nobody is selling Mexican immigrants out in large numbers. I see illegals everyday that work, and try to better themselves. Many of them in my state of KY are being offered work authorization cards to pay taxes and live their lives normally, and proceed citizenship. But on the border you have criminals doing as they please, and they will continue to do so if nothing is established. I am a born Texan myself, and I would never judge a Mexican national as an immigrant. But even some Mexican Americans believe regulation is needed for safety, and security. The bottom line is too many border crossing illegals aree going undocumented, and causing major problems all over the United States. Really the problem does not just pertain to Latin peoples but people from all over the world who refuse to be recognized or documented.
