The 2012 presidential election will the most important presidential election in American history. It will be the election in which we will have a chance to "refudiate" the statism that has been destroying our country for years. However, the election will be worth nothing without the right candidate. If we elect an Obama-lite candidate like Mitt Romney, we will not be helping our country all that much or, admittedly, even at all. So, we need a candidate who will unite the Conservative coalition of Conservatives, Conservative Dems, and Libertarians. With that, how can we lose.
On to the candidates:
1. Mitt Romney
Mitt Romney, an ex-liberal and a current faux conservative, he is, in my humble opinion, the "Nixon of our era". He plays dirty tricks with his campaign, and he is a relentless flip-flopper.
2. Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin has the leadership and the Conservative values necessary to unite a coalition of Conservative dems, Conservative Repubs, and Libertarians. The nation would move in the right direction towards liberty, fiscal sanity, and an ethical, limited government.
3. Mike Huckabee
A social-con who is a far better comedian than he ever was a governor. He only shares one thing with Reagan, and that is wit. That doesn't qualify you to be president. He is really a liberal republican, and he raised taxes, spent more, and copped out to illegal immigrants.
4. Newt Gingrich
The consumate Washington insider. Uh-huh. 'nuff said.
5. Gary Johnston
A good libertarian, but I believe he lacks leadership qualities.
6. Ron Paul
Intriguing and exciting, but I don't believe would be an effective leader. I think that he would, however, make a very good Sec. of Treasury or Chairman of the Fed.
7. Jim DeMint
Worked hard for liberty and Conservatism and great reforms in the Senate. Great VP pick or Senate Majority Leader/ Chairman of the NRSC
8. Mitch Daniels
He has given up on much of conservatism and has, in fact, not been as much of an effective leader as many conservatives would like to think,
9. Chris Christe
Great candidate with great "fire in the belly", but ultimately will not run, and it is not is time yet. 2020 maybe. This man will be president one day, but now it is time for Palin.
10. Mike Pence
Not as much of a Conservative as many think, and has put through Liberal reformations on immigrations.

Say what you want about Ron Paul as a potential leader, but the undeniable fact is that he is the only person on your list who not only understands the nature of the monetary system, but also understands that the monetary system needs to be changed systemically. All of the others on that list are either apologists or supporters of the current monetary and banking system.
The fact that you think Ron Paul would make a good Fed chairman shows that you are yet another person who does not truly understand the issue of the monetary and banking system. If you did understand it, you would understand that Ron Paul would never be caught dead allowing himself to be nominated for that position. He wants to end the Fed, not run it.
Until we face the root of the problem which caused, among other things, the financial crisis of 2008, nothing that conservatives, liberals, or moderates propose on any issue will solve anything. The "money suckers" as I call them are expert at keeping liberals and conservatives sniping at each other, effectively distracting attention from the real issue while America (and the world) gets closer and closer to complete financial collapse.
Ever notice that no political issues ever get resolved? In fact, no political issues have been resolved within the lifetime of anyone alive today. There's a reason for that. The money suckers are expert at keeping the whole game going, while they get richer and more powerful at everyone else's expense by funding both sides of every issue. They use their practice of funding both sides of an issue to expertly distract us from the only real political issue in the world: the monetary and banking system itself. All the rest of the political issues are merely sub-issues of this one, overriding issue.
Even one of the liberals' favorite "victories", the breaking of the glass ceiling for women over the past 30 years or so, turns out to have been engineered for the purposes of the Rockefellers, who supported the equal rights amendment so that women would be encouraged to join the workforce, thereby creating more workers who can borrow large amounts of money from the Rockefellers and their peers. See the following video for details. It features former Hollywood producer (and one-time Libertarian Party presidential hopeful) Aaron Russo, who is probably best known for producing the film The Rose and for discovering Bette Midler as a new talent in the 1980s. Russo also reveals a very disturbing possibility that the Rockefellers may have had something to do with 9/11.

I think he would make a good Fed chairman because he could destroy it from within. I agree with him 100% issues that are pertaining to economics. We do need to get back to the gold standard, rid ourelves fo the fed, and thus, get ourselves back on track.
