The Democrats continue on down their road of terror and domestic destruction within the borders of the United States. Now they have turned their sights onto homosexuality in the military and appear ready to lift the ban.
The questions is, when they do, will enough in the all voluntary military force, both officers and enlisted, say good bye, forcing Congress to send their aides to the front lines.
America is a democratic republic and what the people think, the standards of the people are suppose to be the standards of the nation. Only a 2/3's majority is suppose to be able to change the standards of the US. But, with an activist Court the law has gone from 2/3's of all the nation's voting public, to nine people in the black robes.
If the standards of this nation are that Gay is ok, despite almost twenty state wide referenda soundly defeating each and every attempt to appeal to popular support, than I submit this nation is no longer a democratic republic and we (the Christiasn majority) are no longer represented. The political essence of America is dead. Long live the king!
I state here and now I would never again consider defending the government...not just the Obama administration, but the government this nation against any enermies foreign or domestic.? This is not a Constitutional republic...it is now some kind of oligarchy where a self appointed ruling elite decide, irregardless of the repreated stated majority. Therefore, this government no longer earns my loyalty or respect.
It is now in the hands of the military itself, the privates through the officers, and those considering enlisting...will Americans just walk away? I pray they do.
The very national security of the United States of America may already have been lost. Not because of the reaction of America's Armed Services, but because of the blantant disregard of her elected officials for the "popular wil"l across a wide spectrum of issues. The nation's spirit is in its dying throes. Whatever is emerging, it is not the United States of America of days past.

Hi Mark,
Democrat leaders want the draft. They want a stable supply of new bodies to sacrifice to the pursuit of their new world order. They want the volunteers to demonstrate they cannot be trusted with our nation's military strategies. They do not want any group to be exempt from the draft when they get it running again. The Democratic party has always been the party of war and death. They need to secure a sure supply of live young people. This also drives their immigration policy. In the Democrat paradigm individuals are nothing more than resources to be applied to the leader's schemes. This drives their love for social programs that create a dependent class that can easily be harvested into military service. Democrats can only promote their ideas through force and oppression. Nothing else even registers in their thoughts about how to address the issues that face our nation.

Good Grief! Just because you are opposed to Gays serving in the military doesn't mean you are in the majority. There are a number of Christians who truly follow the teachings of Christ and don't hate Gays or anyone different from themselves. Being gay does not mean all gays conform to certain stereotypes nor does it mean they'll try to seduce all members of the same sex. They do not create sexual harrassment any more nor less than so called straight folk.
All the men in my family have served their country in the military; my son, father, cousin, uncles, grandfather back generations and not one of them has been afraid of being seduced by a gay soldier.
There are numbers of gays serving now and who have served whose skills in languages and technology as well as basic combat are truly remarkable and deserving of praise, not condemnation.
And to Jafre,
You wrote some very wierd ideas about Democrats and I think you need to do a little more research. Just because they are in favor of helping those who cannot help themselves does not mean they have created a dependent class.
Beware of stereotypes and labels because neither holds truth.

It seems that both Mark Vogl and Jahfre Fire Eater live in a different universe than the one I know. In any case, they are both flatly wrong. The Constitution as the supreme law of the land (not any Christian dogmas) does not prohibit gays serving openly in the miltary, and the Republicans have been far more war mongering, at least since the Reagan years, than Democrats. Such hateful, bogus statements only make both Christians (like Mark Vogl) and Libertarians (like Jahfr Fire Eater) look ridiculous.
