The U.S.A. Today

What's up and where are we going

Let me start by firmly stating that being as old as I am is seeming to be advantageous. The current administration seems to have a very un-American agenda. But that also begs the question of what is American ? The founding fathers were visionaries beyond Nostradamus. Our formatting documents (the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence) were written to limit government, by size and power. These documents also define America as a Christian nation, but allowing for the people to practice any religion without fear of prosecution, or to not be affiliated with any religion. Government is also limited in its power to restrain business. This nation is one of people and what is referred to as "the rule of law". The free market system of Capitalism is what built this country to the world power it once was in a relatively short period of time.

With all that said, we have somehow lost our way. Companies that became corporate giants, even on a global scale, and what was once referred to as "good corporate citizens" have withered on the vine. There are a few left who maintain a "rooted in community" spirit, but their numbers are dwindling. On the whole a living wage is a rarity, the company slogan has become "We need to make more money". The sweat shops that used to operate in this country now run rampant in places like India, China, Mexico and South America, supported by an influx of work from companies in America. There is something drastically wrong with this picture. Corporate greed has replaced good business sense. In less than forty years America has gone from a maker of great things (cars, steel, etc.) to having the service industry as number one - you want fries wi'dat. WOW, talk about the train derailing, but how do we (as a nation) return "to those thrilling days of yesteryear" ?

The answer is simple, but with complications. WORK, hard work, and lots of it. That is the easy part. The hard part will be getting the corporate leaders to get some dirt under their manicured fingernails, take a big pay cut, mingle with the peons, and pay some of the $$$$ saved in the pay cuts to those doing the work. I'm sorry if that sounds -- socialistic, in tune with the current administration's idea to "redistribute wealth" but, way back when, (yup, even before unions), Henry Ford decided to pay his workers the ungodly sum of $5 /day ( a lot of money at the time). His reasoning being that "My employees should be able to afford what they are building". We also need some real leaders. Too many of what we call leaders today have no clue as to what is going on. They have been nothing but pencil pushers and desk jockeys all their working lives. AND we (yea, all of us) will have to do this work TOGETHER, as in a co-operative effort. The same mindset that won two world wars, and farther back the same mindset that defeated the British in 1776. I think it is referred to as the American Spirit. You can't buy it at WAL-MART, or anywhere else. It is something we were all born with. You just have to dig deep within your soul to find it.

Oh, here we go again.  Author, money can't be owned.  No dollar has an (en)title of ownership, and each says "federal reserve note" at the top.  Thus, there is no such thing as "taxpayer dollars" or "your hard-earned money"... and everything made-with and bought-with those dollars... is actually owned by "the fed", whoever they are.  By the pyramid scheme symbol on the back of the USA one dollar bill, I'll assume that "the fed" is a division of the Columbian Freemasons... and thus... the USA gov is in a district of Columbia and not part of the USA.  Know the religion you're bought-into, friend.  AmWay stands for American Way (rat-racing pyramid schemes Inc.).  Now go re-write your piece but without all the competer's church pyramid-scheme bias.  Your church of pyramiding is crumbling due to top-heaviness... and it will soon be history... along with worshipping false idols called greenbacks and capitalism-made-up anti-Christian stupidity called ownership.  Get out from under your church's pyramid scheme... and THEN write.  More objectivity that way.  The only way you pyramiders can stop the collapse of your church of competing... is to abolish economies and ownership.

Get rid of your goofy discrimination-by-little-green-papers dementia.  Then you'll be JUST LIKE all the other living things on this planet (not using economies/ownership), and the Earth creators will like you again.  The Earth creators might even come visit you (again), seeing you're finally done fighting over NON-MAN-MADE Earth materials/land.  Maybe after the great tug-o-warring ends, love and sharing will be allowed to re-arise from its carefully hidden and protected foxholes, eh?  We all might learn to trust each other again!  A commune might even start.  OH NO!  REAL Christianity might even get a foothold, finally.  First, know your CURRENT #1 religion/con/sham... the pyramid scheme of servitude, inequality, and rat-racing... called capitalism.  Know THAT, and you'll HATE it... and want it gone at all "costs".

Hey wingnut,

You got your hands on some really good stuff man. You must have a great Columbian connection or better yet Carlos Castaneda's personal stash.

Why bother posting if you have nothing of substance, Bentree?  Why not get off the personal bashing and get on subject... which seems to be greenpaper play?  If ya like bashing so much, use your spouse and kids.  We're trying to discuss man-made-up earn'n'deserve slave-for-little-papers systems here.  If you took as much time to check if you were bought into a con called capitalism... as you did formulating personal bashings... then maybe you would be out from under the imperialism and seeing clearly regarding marching systems (orders) by now.

Very good question, wing.

What was your substance?  I saw conspiracy theories and whack-a-mole denunciation.  Was that it? Or was there something else?
