Hucka"Bomb" Mis-fires

A comparison of the Hucka "DUD" to the Ron Paul MoneyBOMB would be the failed North Korea underground nuclear bomb test versus our MIRV intercontinental Ballistic Missiles with 10 seperate warheads.

"The proof is in the pudding" - quote attributed to my angry mother.

In the weeks leading up to the well-publicized Huckabomb, I saw multiple newscasters mention/promote Mike Huckabee's "independent grassroots" money raising day of December 27th. This, in response to Congressman Ron Paul's 2 (two) outrageously successful MoneyBombs of Nov. 5th and December 16th in which he raised more than $10 million dollars in 2(two) days. Mike Huckabee's money day was termed a "huckabomb" by the Dept. of Originality of the Huckabee campaign staff.

Unlike Huckabee's, soon to be called, Huckabust, Dr. Paul's first MoneyBomb was never discussed by the Main Stream Media (MSM). Yet, he raised nearly $4.4 million that day by the internet savvy of his grassroots supporters.

Dr. Paul's 2nd moneybomb of December 16th, only mentioned a slight bit more in the MSM, netted $6 million dollars. Once again, from a growing group of nationwide supporters who mainly found out about Dr. Paul on the web.

In the 4th Quarter, Dr. Paul, to date has raised $18.8 MILLION DOLLARS. That is an average of $189,000 per day.

NOW, the pudding.

The Huckster is leading in the polls in Iowa by a large margin over the other candidates. Over Dr. Paul 2 or 3 times the polling points.

Hucka"goober" is polling #2 in the National polls with 3X the points of Dr. Paul.

I know, it isn't fair to compare the 2 with each other. Especially considering the HUGE support base Gov. HuckaBeaten has attained in the past several weeks.

Poor, old, Kooky Dr. Paul. He, who until last week was rarely seen on the MSM. He never stood a chance. It was like a sheep to slaughter. Can we EVER forgive ourselves? How will both of the Ron Paul supporters ever rid themselves of the shame.

For you see, silly Fans of Freedom

The Hucka "FAILURE" Raised a WHOPPING $95,000. That is: Ninety Five Thousand Dollars.

That is only HALF of Dr. Pauls daily average over the past three months.

Now, a very important question must be answered.

SO WHO WILL WIN THE IOWA CAUCUS ON JANUARY 3RD?

The proof is in the pudding

Wow, what a telling statement about Huckabee's fund raiser. He is definitly running out of cash. With that said I would like to comment on some of Paul's recent interviews.

In these interviews I have noticed a level of bravado and unshakability shining forth in Paul. I believe his support gives him courage and strength to persist. This is not only a testament to the resolve that he displays but it in an indirect way, it is a comment on the tenacity of his support base. He has said so many times that the response he has been receiving has rid him of HIS apathy. I could truly understand this because I am sure those 10 terms in congress were probably lonely and heartbreaking at times. To be a lone voice of reason and sanity in an insane asylum is a truly daunting task.

With that said it behooves Paul supporters to never let anyone tell you to tone it down or be less tenacious in your purpose. Paul's ideology would have never taken root if it weren't for some brave folks bucking common opinions. A true testament to American ideals.

Ha-ha-ha-ha. Good one and it really applies to all the other clowns in the race also.

It simply proves that you can't steal ideas and make them work expecially if you do not have the BRAINS.

They may try to copy Ron Paul supporters, but they will never succeed. The reason is not the way the money is raised but WHY the money is raised. The money is not support so much for the candidate but for the message of freedom, hope & prosperity. Huckabee, himself nor his platform, offers any of that. All he offers is more of the same big government, war & oppression of our freedoms. RON PAUL WILL WIN IN A LANDSLIDE, BECAUSE THE PEOPLE ARE VOTING NOT SPECIAL INTEREST.

I saw Ron Paul twice on Television yesterday. He was great. Strong & Determined. First on the Situation Room and then on Tucker. Both times he discussed his foreign policy of non-intervention. He stood his ground defending his position that we should not get involved in Pakistan in response to Bhutto's murder. That is the kind of change this country needs, and unless you "preach" that message, you never will raise money like RON PAUL.

Dude,

You're brutal.  We're brothers of two different angry mothers.

Some campaigns have grassroots, and others have dandelions.

Unless Huckleberry can come in first place in at least one state, he's going to be hurting for Feb. 5.

I saw yesterday (12/27) where he's still giving speeches at $25k a pop (see CBSNews.com).   Wassup with that?

He doesn't have the cash to compete with Paul, Romney, and the G-man.  McCain seems to have survived his spendthrift manager.  Has Alan Keyes ever won anything?  He's at least on several state ballots--scary.  Fred has less than six hours to raise another $80,000 for that commerical I was so nasty about yesterday.

Hunter didn't seemed phazed in the last interview I saw.  He's eligible for about $100k of matching funds.  McCain can access $5.8M in matching funds, if he wants it (AP 12/20).

We need to see those stats on OpenSecrets on Jan. 31 for the quarter.

This will be a war of attrition and organization.  Money is the ammunition.

I think we're done with the fundraising for now.  Let's see what the candidates do with what we've given them.  We'll see who's standing or quitting on Feb. 6th.

So, anyone want to take bets on the next candidate to concede?  This is getting fun.

I hadn't heard of this attempt, thanks for sharing it and the top 10 list.  As Leonard pointed out, its not the candidate it is the message!

DigitalBob, for the Repubican's I'd bet Hunter is soon out with Thompson not long after...dunno.

My wife and I made our usual Christmas trip from NC to VA early this week. I did not see even ONE presidential poster during the entire drive (which also takes us through TN) "except" for about 2 dozen Ron Paul for President posters! This was especially prevalent in TN. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the perfumed whores on mainstream to avoid this revolution...Yes, I said REVOLUTION...it's NOT just a few "grassroot internet kooks" Americans are SICK SICK SICK of the lies, corruption, Nation building, wars for profit, Federal Reserve scam, 9-11 scam, etc etc etc. The "elite/powers that be" had better think long and hard about doing something to Dr. Paul. They'd only increase the revolution and have millions of "kooks" on the White House lawn with tar and feathers!

DigitalBob:  "I think we're done with the fundraising for now."

Maybe the other candidates are, but NOT Ron Paul.  The Donation-Counter has increased by an average of $1,000 to $2,000 per hour all this week (all 24 hours each day).  At an average donation of $100, that's a donation from 100 - 200 people per hour.   Not too shabby ...

Mitt cries, Huck's Huckaboom raises $95,000 (what a joke he has become, how about his dopey hunting hat?), Rudy retreats to Florida, Tancredo quits, Fred sleeps and Ron Paul raises $6 million dollars in one day. Except for Dr. Paul, "[t]here's not a dime's worth of difference between" Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas, banning books like "America Deceived' from Amazon, warrant-less wiretapping and the PATRIOT ACT. They are both guilty of treason. Time to take sides, fellow patriots, you're either for liberty and Support Dr. Ron Paul or you're against liberty and damn us all. @ $2,000 an hour...

 $100 average per donation...

That would actually be and average of 20 people an hour donating.

 Which is still very impressive.

That is why I attributed it to my mom , who always used it when she caught me doing something wrong  that I denied doing, rather than the original author.
They both have the same meaning though. but thanks for letting everyone know the exact quote. I should have included it myself, but didn't think of it.

He said it increased BY an average $2,000 an hour, so that would be increase in the total number of donators by about 20 an hour or 400-500 a day. That donation average of $100 is also DOUBLE the average donation of the day he raised $6million.

Boy have I found a great bunch of fellas to have fun with! My girl friends agree. We have been partying with some very generous Republicins that love Mike Huckabee. We are a group of five cute lady dancers who lap dance and jump out of cakes at Republicin partys for donations. Thats were the moneys at. We are committed to Mike Huckabee for president and donate 40% of all cash to his cause. Since we get paid in cash, we don’t gotta pay no taxes, but we as a group feel that out of patriotic pride and stuff, we hafta donate arond 40% or theres abouts cause thats what the government grabs anyhows, so we’d rather choose where our money goes and so we picked Mike Huckabee so our mothers could be proud of us and stop looking down on us. Jesus H. Christ, ya think they would be glad we got decent jobs. Theys five of us all put together. Theys Bubbles, who’s a blonde real sexy bombshell (and a real blonde), and theys Ginger Snap, shes the redheaded tart fellas. Theys Fluffy Buffy -she’s the twin sister to Bubbles but has dyed blonde hair and a plastic surgery (you know what I mean!). Then theys Trixie Belvedere. Shes a sultry brunet that pouts alot cause she aint blonde! And last fellas - TADA! theys me. I’m Foxy FiFi. I’m just an average curvy and an above average stacked girl with long brown hair and a lot of brains, and I got it were it counts and I ain’t shamed ta show it to ya. Any hows, I’m from Intercouurse,PA. and my church is the one with the snakes. I left town and I confess I stole one of the churchs snakes. My very first show business act was a dance naked with that holy snake until the sucker bit me and I got real sick. Any hows I’m so glad to be accepted into your Huckabee political group. What a kick it is being political and all that. It’s a blast being one of you normal consirvivtve folks. Thank ya all for xceptin us and may Jesus bless ya ervery one.

My Lullabye...

Huckabye baby, sitting on top,

can't raise the funds, so your voters will drop,

when the votes drop, the Paulies will take

Ron to the White House two thousand and eight !

Now, on to the serious stuff. Not a single candidate from either party is everthing everybody dreams of. Not a single candidate is the perfect choice, and they all have some issues or beliefs that not everyone will agree with.

It has ALWAYS been this way, EVERY single election we have ever had.

Also, remember every candidate will promise you everything you ever dreamed of...and deliver very little of that promise, if any at all.

This election, instead of the usual "chicken in every pot", "car in every driveway", or "free money for all"...I'm looking at my country going bankrupt, my freedoms evaporating, and my Government holding me upside down and shaking me so they can get every penny that I try to keep in my tattered pockets.

It is not a time for "business as usual" anymore, because the business is BANKRUPT. Unless we take extreme measures, we will all be left out in the cold when the business (country) collapses.

Only one candidate seems to realize this, and for that reason he has my vote. I do not claim to agree with his every statement or his every policy, though I do agree with most of them. What I do strongly agree with is his understanding that the country is collapsing, and WE ALL must work together to save it...NOW! (Later is too late!)

Will he perform miracles? Probably not, but he will get us started in the right direction. From there...the American people will take over, and we will save this country. We just need someone to give us the motivation to do that.

Back to business...when you work for a sweat shop, you show up and do as little as you possibly can. The rewards are few and far between, and every day suxx...

But when you OWN the business...the story changes! You work harder, but the rewards are HUGE!

Take back your business (country), don't let the doors close. You will never have another opportunity like the one you have right now!

The real people I talk to in person all want Dr. Paul or Kucinich.

Since Mr. Huckabee claims to have a direct hotline straight to God, it only makes sense that God will provide for him. All Huck has to do is dial Him up and the money will just rain down from heaven. Why should his "followers" have to do anything? God is the connection that counts, isn't He?

Unfortunately for Mr. Huckabee, it doesn't appear that God has fully commited to him at this time and is witholding His bounty.

Ron (above) you are right about the fundraising. American voters are forced to vote with their wallets before they go to the polls. Our sicko mainstream media denies credibility to anyone who doesn't rake in the cash. I do not remember this being such an issue when I was younger and I think it may be a symptom of the greed that seems to have infected this entire nation.

Real Americans who remain uninfected are trying to change things but it is an uphill battle for us. Our main weapon is our one vote each and I will be using mine where I think it does the most good. NOT for Huckabee!

Hi Y'all, Good to see so many "thinking "people here. I personally am really miffed about being lied to all my life, regarding just about everything of importance. The history books lie; therefore the teachers lie, here's where it gets a little confusing do the politicians lie and therefore the media lies? or is it the other way around? Anyway I'm sick to death of being lied to and I'm sick to death of our government doing terrible things in all our names. Let them speak for themselves, not for us, unless it something good and decent for a change, with NO strings attached. Even the Sioux Indians are pulling out. They have cancelled ALL treaties with the us government. I hope not, but look for another Wounded Knee incident in the near future. Although I have always voted for the man, not the party, I was forced to register as either a Republican or a Democrat. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. I have taken to being a little bit stingy about my loyalties to anything since I have learned so much more about the truth of our history, after being lied to for so long. I don't know if we can get enough support to regain our America back, if we can't, I don't think I want to stay here. Problem is, where to go. I served this country for thirteen + years of my life and am very hurt and feel betrayed to the max. To make it worse, I now feel like an accomplice to crimes instead of a patriot. I don't like that feeling at all. If we were to vote today or tomorrow, there's not a doubt in my mind I would vote for Ron Paul. I have voted for him before and was VERY disappointed that he had so little support. Finally, it seems the people are awakening, I just hope it is not too late. I have relished reading what y'all have to say about everything and feel good about being in your company - like minded people. tc & hagd Carol Dee
