Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, San Diego County's own 20-foot long "Ron Paul Micro-Blimp" has been re-located and has once more taken flight. It is now soaring prominently right next to freeway I—5 near Lindbergh Field, close to downtown San Diego. Elizabeth Blane (see original story about the micro-blimp here, and the story of it's first flight here) reports:
"After two days of R & R, our blimpette is up and flying again in a GREAT new location! Get this: only a hundred feet or so from the 5 freeway (east side) right near the flight path of Lindbergh Field, visible to all those lanes of freeway traffic and also visible from the air!"
For those of you who may not be familiar with the San Diego area, this is an even better high-traffic location than before (<- click for a map) immediately adjacent to one of the major arteries that runs through San Diego and visible to passengers as they fly in for a landing at Lindbergh Field, San Diego's major air terminal.
The Micro-Blimp is boldly and colorfully emblazoned with these provocative messages:
"Who is Ron Paul?" and "Google Ron Paul"
Thousands more San Diegans will now find themselves thinking curiously about and researching Ron Paul's name. Dr. Paul's supporters in the San Diego area have taken these extraordinary steps because the "normal" media channels are proving themselves to be obsolete.
The push is also now on to complete and continue the funding of the original full-sized Ron Paul Blimp with your advertising dollars - please subscribe generously to keep Ron Paul's good name before the American public! These expenses are not counted against your FEC campaign expenditure limit of $2300!
