Facts & Questions About Bhutto's Assassination Given that the U.S., its allies, and Musharraf believe that stability is currently more important than democracy in Pakistan, it is neither premature nor ludicrous to suspect that Musharraf knew how to prevent this assassination, but failed to do so.by Madison Thacker

Here are some key facts:
The U.S. and its allies will not allow instability in a Pakistan that has nuclear weapons.
The U.S. and its allies back Musharraf in order to help prevent instability.
The U.S., its allies, and Musharraf believe that stability is currently more important than democracy in Pakistan.
The process of moving from quasi-dictatorship to democracy was beginning to introduce greater instability.
At least five assassination attempts have been prevented against Musharraf.
Bhutto warned Musharraf that elements in the government were planning her assassination.
Early reports state that Bhutto was expertly shot in the neck.
Early reports state that a suicide bomb exploded in coordination with the shot to the neck.
Reports are beginning to cast doubt on the shot to the neck.
The U.S., its allies, and Musharraf are already blaming extremist terrorists.
Reports are beginning to call accusations of government involvement "premature" and "ludicrous."
Given the facts above, here few questions:
If "instability" is the greatest threat to Pakistan, who had the most to gain in Bhutto’s assassination?
Who would the U.S. and its allies and Musharraf prefer to see in power, Musharraf or Bhutto?
Who would Al Qaeda prefer to see in power, Musharraf or Bhutto?
If Musharraf knew how to prevent every assassination attempt against him, why didn’t he know how to prevent Bhutto’s assassination?
Who had the most to gain?
Who had the means?
Who had the opportunity?
Why are the U.S., its allies, and Musharraf already blaming extremist terrorists?
Why is it considered "premature" to suggest government involvement, but not "premature" to blame extremist terrorists?
Given that the U.S., its allies, and Musharraf believe that stability is currently more important than democracy in Pakistan, it is neither premature nor ludicrous to suspect that Musharraf knew how to prevent this assassination, but failed to do so. It is also neither premature nor ludicrous to suspect the tacit approval of the U.S. and its allies. It's time for Americans to vote for someone who advocates a foreign policy of freedom.
