AP Conceals US Govt. Role in Haiti-Relief Plight The latest state-worshiping fraud, courtesy of "the world's largest and most trusted source of independent news and information."by Dan Alba

Relief workers are still struggling to care for the human casualties of the Haitian earthquake.
Naturally, the Associated Press decided to "cover" this news.
Instead, we get the equivalent of a declaration that nighttime is a result of the lack of daylight, without mention of the Sun:
Aid workers say the need for medicine generally falls third behind water and tents for shelter from the blistering tropical sun and looming rains.
The reason all three are not reaching people is the same: The need is so great and it's just not possible to get supplies into Haiti fast enough or distributed in a country with ruined infrastructure. [my emphasis]
But you won't hear an empire-indicting peep out of "the world's largest and most trusted source of independent news and information." (Trusted by whom, and independent of what, should be seriously pondered.)
In fact, the AP rather mourns the blameless imperial entities:
But even some of the largest institutions are feeling the strain.
Air Force Gen. Douglas Fraser, head of the U.S. military's Southern Command, told reporters Thursday that Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort had reached its "care limit" after treating more than 3,000 people.
It wouldn't be far-fetched to surmise that the AP conceals imperial transgressions out of fear that the empire will transgress against the AP. After all, how would the AP operate without all those hundreds of U.S. military bases all over the world to unofficially protect the AP's embedded staff and its "bureaus."

I'm surprised that military worshippers haven't whined, moaned and screamed threats at you by now for questioning the corporatist scams and schemes of the "noble" warfare/welfare state! Even if the U.S. government "aid" were legit, it would amount to socialism! It's obvious to me this is a force of invasion and occupation using a phony justification of "humanitarian aid"! There are many potential resources (oil, gold etc.) to exploit and cocaine to be smuggled though there by the CIA! "War is a racket!" - Smedley Butler,USMC And so are "humanitarian relief efforts" by government! And the controlled media aid and abet the racket!
