Although the current Democratic Arkansas governor has a relatively high popularity rating right now, I anticipate those polled numbers will slip due to his party affiliation by the November elections, and there simply aren't any known names running against him. As a native Arkansan and former high school history teacher, I feel that Arkansans are tired of not having a real alternative to the 'business as usual' two party political system in the state. The establishment elites will not respond to citizen concerns over issues such as immigration, education, taxation, and jobs. They need a governor who would. It's high time that patriotic Americans and Arkansans stand up and speak up to make our voices heard. The people who built this great nation deserve a say in its future, and someone needs to be that voice. I'm a longtime local, state, and national political activist and Tea Party organizer, and am announcing the launching of a campaign exploratory committee to look into the possibility of running a write-in campaign in the Arkansas governor's race this fall. If enough interest and support is shown for a campaign, I may be announcing my candidacy for governor of the great state of Arkansas in this year's election.
In line with some of the thoughts and philosophical developments I have discussed here at NolanChart, the political party I've established, "The Nationalist Party of America", has already constructed internet websites where the party platform is available for viewing, and will be selecting candidates for other state and national offices soon. Failing a run for the Arkansas gubernatorial seat this year, I already have plans for a broader national campaign for the White House in 2012.
