State Senator Dan Patrick of Huston, TX posted a series of Tweets this morning around 3 a.m. commenting on Republican candidate Debra Medina’s decision to not blindly support the whomever happens to win the Republican nomination for Governor according to the newspaper statesman.com.

The newspaper reported that in an interview on a radio station in Lubbock, TX she said that, "She cannot promise to support Gov. Rick Perry or Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison if they win in Nov—saying there might be others."

Patrick is a supporter of Gov. Rick Perry and claimed that Medina is not a Republican but rather an Independent. He says he questions why she is running as a Republican and not an Independent or Libertarian.

Conservatives and Tea Party activists claim Perry is a RINO (Republican In Name Only). Conservative’s have started jumping from both the Perry and Hutchison (also believed to be a RINO) campaigns and joining the Medina campaign after the recent republican governor debate held two weeks ago. Medina’s numbers tripled while both Perry and Hutchison have started going down in the polls. Every offline and online poll has shown that Medina won the debate.

According to a conservative activist website in Texas activists have come out claiming that, "the Senator is a RINO and is supporting a fellow RINO. He expects a real conservative to support a possible non-conservative for office which is contrary to her (Medina's) principles." The website claims that, "According to the logic of the Senator, if President Obama wins the Republican nomination for President he expects conservatives and fellow Republicans to vote for him."

Oh give me a break. The kool-aid support for Medina is as bad as it was/is for Obama. Get a grip and step into reality. She's NOT a conservative Republican. She IS a libertarian and should be running under that party's banner. So logically, she's a RINO as well. Enjoy that crow. And no, I'm no fan of Perry or Kay either. All three suck!

Medina is a spoiler, similar to Perot and Ron Paul.  They support too many cooky libertarian ideas to get even near a majority, but they can pull enough votes to let their liberal friends win.  Is it just me that sees a linkage or commonality between the word liberal and libertarian?  Medina supports legalization drugs...so she can't be the GOP nominee.

Well if supporting the costitutions of the U.S. and Texas is cooky, then call me cooky. The entrenched politicians would do well to remember their oaths of office. You might want to read the Texas GOP platform and see whos views most closely follow them. It is time that Texans vote thier conscience and not just for whom might win or not.

Right, Vogl, Medina IS a spoiler, a spoiler to collectivist trash with their noses in their neighbors' business and their wallets.  That's what you love, isn't it, as long as you are doing the inspecting and pickpocketing?  Well, AMERICANS love freedom -- go Medina!
