Sovereignism on Voting. Part 2

Steps from initial vote up to start of an election convetion

I repeat the main objective for a new superior election method. That primary objective is to break the stranglehold that the banking cabal holds on the voters by way of it's control of political party leaderships. The weak link of that stranglehold is the local party control of who gets nominated to run as a candidate for office under the banner of the party. The nominated individuals are chosen for their willingness to be obedient employees of the party leadership. Local party leaders are rewarded with Federal funds by the national party leadership when the candidate they nominated obeys the commands of the national party leaders. Note that the new election method assigns the power over who gets nominated to the electors who have been chosen by voters and not by local party officials. What I am advocating is a peaceful election method revolution to return us to the sovereign citizen status held after the victory over King George where we escaped from being his subjects. Today we are the subjects of the banking cabal. We need to work, by the ballot box, to break the modern chain of subjugation.

Voters will respond with enthusiasm when they feel that their vote may actually cause a move in the direction of their values-----witness the enthusiasm shown by Mass. voters in selecting their new senator Brown. Humans are also quite rational when they perceive that hiring someone to do a job will work for them when the cost is reasonable. What then is the cost for a voter in selecting an elector who will do well for them in a complex process of choosing an office holder?

The voter needs to determine who is the best match to his own values among those asking for his vote to represent him as an elector. This is best accomplished by a face to face meeting between candidate and voter. This can be done at a block coffee meeting at a voter's home or by larger group meetings in a local school room or auditorium. The number of choices facing the voter is small when choosing an elector to represent the voter's precinct. The cost to the voter is then the time spent at a meeting or two.

Meeting presentations by candidates followed by question and answer sessions will do the job. Now you have a way to cast an informed vote for an elector to represent you. Consider the case where there were 5 candidates asking for selection as your elector. The top 2 vote counts are designated as the majority and minority electors. Assignment of votes to one of the top 2 is then done by the 3 candidates receiving lesser totals. You will now be directly, you voted for one of top 2, or indirectly, you voted for a lower count elector candidate, represented in the next step of the election.

An election convention, as described in Part 1, can now be held for elections where the count of chosen electors within the district of the elective office is small enough. Selection conventions to select a pair of electors for the office holder election convention is required if the count of precincts is to large for a single convention. Consider the case for the election of a President. Here we have a little under 2,000 districts when we divide each current Presidential election district into 4 districts.

Each district needs to choose a majority and minority elector to represent the district at the Presidential election convention. The events in a district selection convention differ from those of an election convention at the nominating step and at the final step. Nominations here must be an elector in this district's selection convention. The final step has a following vote step where the electors who had not voted for one of the top two vote gaining candidates must choose which of the top two will gain their vote.

Three objectives need to be accomplished for complete assurance of an honest voting system. Proper voter registration, vote time voter identification and follow-up validation of individual honest vote counting are the three objectives. Voter registration must assure citizenship and residence within the precinct boundaries. Registration must include making a computer readable copy of the right thumb print. Then at voting time a thumb scan must validate an honest voter. Missing a right thumb allows a picture ID to be used for validation. Absentee ballots require a matching thumb print or a notary certification. A private printout with secret ID is provided to each voter for vote count follow-up validation.

Hi SovereignJim,

Right on!  There's a way things work and infinite ways that they don't.  It is incumbent on individuals to decide what works to reach their goals, but, just because they choose what is comfortable doesn't mean that is something that will suddenly change the way things work.  You have described a choice that works for changing the product, candidates, created by a political party.

The beauty is that after doing these constructive things along the way, the election is irrelevant.  Once a person steps into the booth they are free to vote as they see fit no matter what party they are affiliated with.  The only time party affiliation means anything is during the candidate grooming process.

The brand-loyalty is a multi-faceted defense.  The human nature to defend labels is incredibly strong even when they are obviously misleading, defunct or dogmatic.  Opponents reinforce this by only attacking the faulty labels for their emotional results in the devout label defenders.

The good news is these days there are so few individuals who are willing to participate in local GOP events that huge inroads can be made in a very short time with consistent, constructive participation.  In many places all you have to do is show willingness and ability to show up and you can get important voting positions in county GOP precincts.  However, don't be afraid to compete for the spot via campaigning if necessary.  You'd be surprised how many rank-and-file GOP turtles are waiting for someone to knock on their shell to tell them there is someone with fresh ideas and solid principles who is willing to listen to them.

The other thing that is encouraging is that some of our local candidates are actually pro-actively receptive to our "whacky" preference for limited government and free enterprise.

It takes constant contact and communication to get devoutly Christian candidates to understand that using big federal government to impose their faith across the land places their religious freedom in serious future jeopardy.  Just as liberals believe their attempts at the social engineering of outcomes is justified by their "knowing what's best" for EVERYONE, The Christian candidates believe the use of government force is justified to secure their faith-based beliefs at the federal level. Ron Paul is a prime example of a devout Christian who understands that freedom of religion, diversity of thought and manner, the ability to form diverse local communities, etc, is only possible with a limited federal government.  More and more Christians are coming to realize from the fallout of nation-wide religious issues such as gay marriage and abortion are beginning to come home to roost and threatening their ability to create Christian communities in their home states.

To change the candidates at the top of the GOP list they must come up from the bottom.  Shouting at those now in charge will do nothing but rally their defenses.  Strike the root.  It is the only constructive choice.  Once a few new candidates start making waves with Ron Paul's message that religious freedom requires the defense of limited government ... AND ... the implication that limited government means limited military, I believe the old-guard neocon hierarchy will collapse...perhaps as quickly as 8-12 years.

The potential exists but still, too many active, energetic individuals are distracted into futility by their unrealistic ideals and pursuit of personal satisfaction over long-term change in the defense of liberty.  That is so tragic and such a waste of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  The GOP leadership is getting really old.  Not necessarily the elected hierarchy but the core community-based active members.  They are the same aging and dwindling folks who can be seen in church every Sunday.  They are dying out and they know it.  Even a few of the old timers are coming to realize the error of their ways...ways they lived for most of a lifetime.  We live in an incredibly important time for the future of the individual.
