What my ideal, perfect utopia would be, someone else would disagree, this is realism. The job at hand now is to consult reason. But, how do we define reason, it seems we can't even agree on this. This leaves us in a quandary. Are there "REALY" any answers? Is there anyway back? Or, are we so self deceived?
I speak out not in judgment, but in sorrow. I have seen with my own eyes, children who carried guns, some as young as eight. Yeah, Here, in America, it is going on everyday, in almost every fairly large city. How do they get there? Oh, we have more laws than necessary to control guns, and enforcement of minor players doesn't seem to be a problem, just look at incarceration levels in the United States.
I have come to the opinion that almost all of America is suffering from, Stockholm Syndrome.
Shock and Awe, have taken their toll on Americans, I see a dullness in peoples eyes, I see our children, absent of hope for a brighter tomorrow, I see them leaving schools behind, dropping out, or graduating less than equipped in both reading and math. They see the uncertainness in their parents. They walk around with a sense of impending doom. Is this realy our legacy? Are we so blind we can't see it? Are we just to self deceived to see it? Do you know deep down what I say is true? Only you can answer this. We each have our own idea of utopia, but can't we all find a way, to a world we can all live with?
In history it is tradition to kill the messenger of bad tidings, if thus be the case, I have no alterior motive, I have no angle, I have no axe to grind, other than publicly stated. I only care to say the words, no one wants to face. But, It's time America grew up, it's been a juvinile long enough. You can't keep going around the world picking fights with other countries, stealing their toys, and expect not to get bit. The same guys have been in charge, playing musical chairs in roles of Government for the last 40 odd years. Get a clue. Follow the Money.
Can anything be done? Yeah alot of things can be done, but, once again America got their HOPES up for CHANGE they could believe in, and once again, had them dashed to pieces by yet another, Status Quo., apathy is a cancer, it is just like a cold, it's catchy. So is enthusiasm, this is the tool for apathy. We must have something we can be enthusiastic about, something we can realy believe in, some thing, that by the sheer scope of, all sides comming together for a common cause, will generate it's own energy, and we will feel as if we are all part of the bigger one. I guess, I'm talking about some kind of miracle. I just hope the oposition doesn't come up with it, before we do. I know where that will lead. Hello NWO (Not, my idea of utopia.)
If these words inspire just one person, it's worth it. Go out and seek and support those who dare challenge the system and are running for office, Go volunteer to hand out flyers, Blog, write publish, create the BUZZ, Enthusiasm sells, It's as cathchy as a smile. Tell your friends, wake people up.
Hey, do what you want, do what you will, it's your world too.
