First I want to say that, "Government has gotten out of hand, and It is too big, too free, and too powerful."

The debates, and legislation in Washington, should be on how we could put more restraint on Government, while making its citizens more independent. I am not of the camp to end all social programs either, often referred to as, "Entitlements" yet, I am not in favor of corporate subsidy. So. I am somewhere in between. But I believe that with smaller, less expensive Government. With Individual income retention, and Individual State income retention, I believe the American people, whom has shown, without a doubt, to be the most giving, and charity driven on earth. Real Leaders need only to help organize them. To build a society, we must come to agreements. We call those The Constitution Of The United States and Bill of Rights.

From time to time, we have had to make changes along the way, as the country changes, its laws must also change. This was the genius of the Fore-Fathers having written the option and process into it from the creation.

Now I want to address this Political correctness stuff, I, as a writer, am greatly offended that any combination of letters can be wrong, or bad. Attitudes, and Intentions can be wrong, or bad, and subjects can be untimely, or inappropriate for a certain audience, but never a string of letters.

It is the current practice to demonize words, I find this objectionable, Left-wing, Right-wing, Liberal, Tree- huger, this is an indication of a very small mind, that resort to using this tool to sway public opinion. To me it only communicates that they have no logical argument, or basis, for intelligent debate, to get their way, they resort to infantile screaming, kicking, and calling of names.

How should Federal Government be funded? By states, When the budget is drawn up, and agreed upon, each State, commits its obligation as spelled out in the agreements, retaining the option to with-hold, should the Federal Government not keep in line with constitution, or agreements. States are to be sovereign, passing laws, and regulations deemed appropriate by the citizens of that state. This is where freedom and liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, become relevant. Because, if you did not like Govt. in one state, you could go to a state more in line with your own political beliefs, thus creating competition between States for investors, and labor force. Putting its citizens in the drivers seat.

All Elected offices must have term limits, as was the intentions of or Founders, Government service should be like the Grand Jury, and Jury duty.

Taxes should only be collected at State level, with even distribution according to needs to individual counties, and commitment to national budget. in a agreed upon State budget.

The Grand Jury is to have subpena, investigation, and audit powers.

Elections by the People shall be at State level for State Representatives, and Representatives from States, shall elect Federal positions. The Federal Senate shall be the check, as originally written it should only take one Senator stop any Law.

Corporations should have no right to lobby Government directly, it should be looked upon as a bribery. Corporations can appeal to the public, if the public agrees then the public shall lobby for change.

So, was the Nolan Chart right?

'Centrist libertarian', interesting concept.  If you're OK with social programs and income taxes, if you go along with wealth redistribution to counties at the State level, I honestly don't see how you could be any kind of libertartian.

Libertarians strive towards the absence of government.

Liberals like personal freedom but think the government should provide for needs and wants (loose fiscal policy).

Conservatives think thery're fiscally responsible but like to legislate morals to the rest of us.

Statists would gladly enslave themselves to their lords and masters in government both socially and fiscally.

Centrists?  Even Centrists don't know what a Centrist is.  I recommend you read Lysander Spooner's 'Let's Abolish Government' (http://mises.org/literature.aspx?action=author&Id=1085) and then see where you stand.

If you belive in absense of government we can just tear up the constitution and bill of rights, and we can go back to law of the jungle, I am not for social programs as a policy, However I see a need for some, I consider education a social program. and as for wealth redistribution, I want individuals to be in control of their own money,  I am open as to how funding is collected for Govmt. expense. but collected at state level. One county may be rich, and provide more than a poorer county, but all need roads and schools and emergency services, I consider these all to be Social programs.
