2000 years ago, the birth of a child frightened Big Government into a homicidal rage. Today, the birth of a movement is having a similar effect. Dr. Ron Paul is the attending physician. by creator

This morning, along with millions of others, I was reflecting on the events of 2000 years ago. Those events were at the heart of the greatest revolution the world has ever seen! A mere infant, born in the most humble of circumstances, shook those in the halls of power to their very foundation (Matthew 2:3). In a cowardly response to a baby so poor as to be born in a barn, a terrified State ordered the murder of all children less than two years old.
Another birth, of lesser but nonetheless great moment, is at hand. In its essential character, the impending birth is a shadow of The Nativity, echoing and reflecting the Advent by heralding a sweet promise of liberty, peace on earth, and release from oppression. As did King Herod of old, the "powers that be" have caught wind of the portents of an impending birth. Having learned hard lessons from that birth so long ago, the State is moving preemptively towards quashing the re-appearance of Liberty. Media minions have been dispatched to do damage control. Rumors of violence have been leaked. The beast will not yield its wealth and power gladly!
Yes, my friends, America is expecting! Millions of us are once again pregnant with Hope for a re-birth of Liberty. Dr. Ron Paul is the attending physician. Are we witnessing the rebirth of the republic? Perhaps, "if we can keep it!"
Wishing you and all your loved ones a Very Merry Christmas, and May God in His great mercy grant America another chance!
