PRESS RELEASE - Jake Towne on FOX Freedom Watch - "The Independent Movement"
I interview with the Judge and discuss my independent campaign and the Republocrats. by Jake Towne, the Champion of the Constitution

Tuesday, November 10, 2009
In February 2008 when I began writing this column here at the Nolan Chart, I suspected something was really wrong with the economy and our political system, but I did not know what it really was. Thanks to the feedback and my learnings, I found out enough to "wake up."
Up until the Banker Bailout in October, never in my life did I ever consider running for political office. That bailout was the last straw - I realized no one was going to appear and "make things better" - and I began the journey back from China to where I am today - still a longshot to win in next year's November election, but I have one weapon - TIME. I hope to attract enough dedicated volunteers to the cause and take back the district from the Republocrats and return it back to a law-abiding, constitutional office that listens to the voice of the individual.
For immediate release
Yesterday Jake Towne, independent candidate for United States Congress in Pennsylvania's 15th district traveled to New York to appear on FOX News' Freedom Watch show with Judge Andrew Napolitano. Towne answered questions about his independent campaign and related that the two-headed, one-party system has utterly failed the American people. They also discussed Towne's novel-yet-simple plan of transparent and accountable government called the "Our Open Office" concept which can be read in detail at the campaign website, www.TowneForCongress.com.
Towne is challenging Republican incumbent Charlie Dent and Democrat John Callahan for the seat in next year's November election and has offered them a chance to debate, saying that many people in the district are hurting financially, and want answers from their candidates for government now. Towne vows to not enlist in the congressional pension plan which awards representatives up to 80% of their $174,000 salary for the rest of their lives, nor the elite congressional health care plan.
Towne's schedule includes a "Towne Hall" on Wednesday, November 25th 7 PM at the Bethlehem Township Community Center, and a speaking engagement in Philadelphia at the Constitution rEVOLution Tea Party on Saturday, November 22nd. Last week Towne raised over $2700 from 74 donors in a single day in an online "money bomb" created by grassroots supporters not affiliated with the campaign.

Jake you present very well on TV. You speak well and you look professional. Also, it seems the voters prefer height and you look tall. May I ask how tall you are?
