Finally Ridding Ourselves of the Slack

There is momentum now for us to stand up and make real change in the way our country is being run. We need to take charge of that momentum and get it done.

I don't know about you guys, but it seems the lack of intelligence displayed at the leadership level of our government is more obvious than ever. I've never seen a group of more inept people placed in power. The Congress, the Executive branch, Federal Reserve... take your pick, as all are being driven by a bunch of self-serving clowns. Does anybody feel like they're working for us anymore?

I'm sorry, but maybe over the years our education and political policies have finally dumbed down us citizens all the way to the top. Makes you really proud to be an American doesn't it!

Oh and let's not ignore the many geniuses that run our businesses, unions, banks and industries. Remember the circus atmosphere on the Hill when the three heads of our auto industry were driven in to beg for funds? And from our Congress no less... the biggest group of mindless, self serving slackers this country has ever seen. Made you want to run out and buy a couple of SUV's to save them didn't it?

I don't know what was worse... those auto idiots scratching their heads with their hands out or the rest of the slackers in Congress being piously critical - talk about bad Kabuki! It's the epitome of the pot calling the kettle black! And then to top things off with all of those bank bailout hearings?

Doesn't it also seem like their perception of the size and scope of numbers is revealing? I see many of the above mentioned and even the talking heads on television confusing millions with billions and billions with trillions. Insensitively staggering isn't it! Not surprising though as they're only numbers and don't mean that much to them since there's nothing really backing up the currency anymore.

Where did they find those guys that are running those companies and how could we have chosen those clowns to run our country and make decisions about how we live? Let's see... with the efforts being made by our federal government, big business, the Federal Reserve and the media there's not much to be optimistic about.

The craziest thing is that all of this came from us! The money they spent; their drive and ambition to take it from us; the choices we made about who we decide to do business with; those we allow to be leaders and represent us; and the greed of it all.

We were the ones that continued to buy the gas guzzling and poorly designed cars that the auto industry made. Not to mention, the millions of us that took all of those cash-back-almost-zero-interest mortgages on homes we couldn't afford. And then accepted loans we couldn't repay on the non-existent equity we were told we had.  To top it off we elected all of those in our government to help facilitate the lunacy.  They imposed uncompetitive standards on our industries and allowed banks and finance entities to induce us into becoming what we were not. It was us that allowed our government to support the bloated and greedy unions and to squander and waste our money in more ways than can be imagined.  We did this and we should be ashamed of ourselves!

And we are still allowing them to throw programs and policies at us to try and motivate us to keep on going for more stimulation... cash for perfectly good cars to borrow more on new ones we really don't need. And handouts to buy and take bigger mortgages we don't really need or never could afford.  And to tolerate them wasting their and our time on programs we can't afford like health reform and global warming cap and trade tax schemes. Programs designed by them to give them more of our money and have more control over our lives.

And we continue buying into this crap with hope of saving ourselves from crisis' that are being created by them to keep them in power.  Pathetic isnt it?

You know what the worst thing has been about it all...our indifference to it. We elected all of them.  Yes, indirectly we have done this to ourselves! Only we the people, are responsible for allowing it to happen. And now while we're suffering with those decisions we made, they continue to expect us to give and allow them to do more for themselves on our behalf. And they continue to believe that we'll do it and make little if no noise while hoping and praying that they, the beggars and slackers will finally bail us out!

But finally, there may be hope on the horizon. There seems to be an awakening to the fact that we can make a difference. That we can take a stand and change the way business is being done. And change the way the government operates and how we are being represented. Those tea parties have motivated people to take a critical look at the way things have been done. More of us are starting to realize the bull that has been thrown at us for so long. We are starting to really understand that there will be no good outcome the way things are being done now.

Some in media are providing information unfettered from the controls of those that drive the main street media news and programming that has become nothing more than propaganda for those currently in power. More and more of us now realize what the problem really is and are becoming aware of the truth about where we really stand in the game.

And many of us are finally learning that it can only end with us... the voters of the United States of America. We have to put an end to all of this crap and now! We have to take responsibility for our actions and make informed decisions to help ourselves and change the way our broken government now operates. It's not too late! We need to do things to stop the bailouts, let markets work and to finally rid ourselves of the slack by electing leaders that will impose term limits on Congress and dramatically shrink government. Ones that will stand up for our rights under the Constitution and understand who they really work for!
