Because of the ignorance of the people, this country will be sold out to socialism and the Marxist ideologies of those who haven't a clue that our Nation's Legacy is a stake.

Willful Ignorance...

The Destruction of Liberty and Freedom

We are embarking on the biggest assault on our Nation. The death stroke has been cast on our Liberty. We the People have entered into a state of "Willful Ignorance" that has fueled and prepared the enemy to get it's death grip on all ideologies that embrace the concept of living in a Free Nation. They have stolen the certain unalienable rights endowed by our Creator. Americans have become oblivious and complacent in these recent years, sitting back and watching our country swing from economic capitalism to democratic socialism without batting a eye.

When engaging on the issues that threat our most precious right to Liberty, many Americans have simply ignored what has been going on. Others do not care about things that do not directly effect them. Many just do not have an interest in engaging discussions that they do not understand. We have become a "Lazy" nation that has taken our freedoms for granted and allowed the government to take over OUR responsibilities. They treat us like incapable children who can not care for themselves or decide what is best for ourselves and OUR Country.

But there is hope in a small remnant of real Americans TRUE, Patriots. Libertarians have the values and foundations engraved on their hearts and have taken a personal oath to instill those values and understandings on to the next generation. Our mission is to begin with using our voices to say "NO! WE the PEOPLE of this United States are NOT going to take it anymore! We must reject this tendancy of the "Willful Ignorance" by those who will be used as vehicles to oppose us in our fight for freedom. They must be exposed, called out and battled on every level.

As we sound the battle cry of freedom be rest assured that there are those that will fight back with the ideas that Socialism and the Philosophies of Karl Marx are beneficial and right for the American people. They will continue to fight from angles of unconstitutional laws and government controls to strip us of our rights piece by piece. They embrace the idea that big government is the solution for caring and protecting it's people. This is the smoke screen that disguises the rising power of government that will exert much more power over the people than the founding fathers ever intended. The end result will be slavery into a government which, will dictate over every aspect of our lives.

The role of the government is to be a SERVANT to the people NOT the MASTER over them! How has this happened? It has been the agenda of the collective politicians who we placed in government to be the mouthpiece of the peoples voice. They have been able to expand government and convince a majority of people that this is their role. When in FACT it firmly asserts in our Declaration of Independence what the role of government is.


"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"

How much time do we have left? How much longer are we going to sit back and let the cards fall where they may and chalk it all up to coincidental happenings and accident? When are we going to admit that we have made mistakes through our own willful ignorance and have taken for granted that our Liberty is secure? Most Americans do not understand their own history let alone that of other world countries. Will we sit back and let history repeat itself? Godless activists, political and social are hard at work to destroy all those who embrace this nation's legacy. They will collectively rise up against those in opposition with their radical agendas and dictate their Marxist Ideologies on the people. How many will be able to recognize the threats to their own personal rights and freedom? There is a great quote by Aristotle that defines this inevitable threat that looms on the horizon. As we who have been watching the danger signs can surely agree that history will repeat itself.

"The tyrant, who in order to hold his power, suppresses every superiority, does away with good men, forbids education and light, controls every movement of the citizens and, keeping them under a perpetual servitude, wants them to grow accustomed to baseness and cowardice, has his spies everywhere to listen to what is said in the meetings, and spreads dissension and calumny among the citizens and impoverishes them, is obliged to make war in order to keep his subjects occupied and impose on them permanent need of a chief." - Aristotle

We have been sliding down the slope towards Socialism since the early 1900's. We have sat by and let government convince us that we need rescuing. They call out the so-called "Victims" in society such as children, minorities, homosexuals, handicapped etc. as their scapegoats to implement their government controls. They claim they need to be rescued from the grips of society at the same time restrict the liberties of those who they say oppress them. It is the government that exploits the ones they say they support.

So we find ourselves under the dictatorship of a self appointed elite class that will exercise their power through excessive taxation, government controls and regulations. They only want to appease these individual "hyphenated" Americans while oppressing those of us who will be held responsible for laboring the bill.

Careful consideration and analysis of the unconstitutional laws that are being passed and attacks on our Constitution are being done to increase government power and not for "The protection of the People" or are "In the best interest of the people". They can not be allowed to deny us our Constitutional Rights! The critical component to the establishment of a Collectivist State is dismantling the Constitution. Consider what Liberties we have already lost or are losing in the Bill of Rights.

1st Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

2nd Amendment: A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

4th Amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated; and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.

5th Amendment: No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous, crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service, in time of war, or public danger; nor shall any person be subject, for the same offense, to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled, in any criminal case, to be a witness against himself; nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

 9th Amendment: The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

 10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

I believe that violations of our Constitution have become so commonplace that the people have become ignorant to the fact that if they don't know what their "RIGHTS" are... How can they begin to understand the threats that will take them away? If we must.. we need to get back to basics and familiarize ourselves with the foundations that laid the groundwork for this great nation. We must take personal responsibility to understand the threats to these rights and challenge any and all who dare tell us that WE the PEOPLE are not in charge... We will not let those through THEIR "Willful Ignorance" sell us out!

Bravo!  I believe misconception, myth, tradition and political manipulation about what rights are and how best to defend them absolutely permeates past and present thinking about rights, and thus, encourages individuals to act in ways that are counter to their stated goal of securing "rights."  Today's "liberty movement" is a ridiculously ineffective farce for the most part for this very reason.

When I try to tell people we are losing our constitutional Republic the first problem I run into is that they never knew we had one in the first place. Yes the vast majority of our fellow Americans are wholly ignorant of our constitution. And they have no concept of what we would be losing if we allow our constitution to be eroded away. But we can't give up. We have to keep on trying.

There is an old saying; "if you give them enough rope they'll hang themselves."  I think the Democrats may be on track for that now, judging by the reaction of the people to their health care plan.  And the Republicans felt a bit of the noose in the last election. So there is at least a glimmer of hope.

As a side note, I often find that when discussing many issues with misinformed persons lacking accurate knowledge, it is good to have a pocket dictionary handy!  Sometimes clarifying simple definitions helps people to comprehend the context of what is being said.

Willful Ignorance

  1. ([link edited for length], law) A bad faith decision to avoid becoming informed about something so as to avoid having to make undesirable decisions that such information might prompt. It may also be shown as for a person to have no clue in a decision but still goes ahead in their decision.

This was interesting..  I found this definition on the "Urban Dictionary" Website.  All sounded good until they ADDED the "attack" clause.  I think they were really talking about themselves.

The practice or act of intentional and blatant avoidance, disregard or disagreement with facts, empirical evidence and well-founded arguements because they oppose or contradict your own existing personal beliefs.

This practice is most commonly found in the political or religious ideologies of "conservative" Americans.
