Political Correctness

The time in which we now live is the most serious of times since life first began on the Planet Earth. This is no exaggeration in any sense of the word. All of the peoples of this planet are experiencing a tremendous pull on their ability to live life as ever before. This is due to a cycle of change that we can't  deny.

Our refusal to believe that the time is demanding that we change is the direct result of fear of what this change will mean for the people in general, and this system of rule (world) that we live under. What are the requirements of this change? What does refusal to change carry as a consequence?

These questions can be summed-up in one word; "Character". All of us must begin to take some serious self-examination to see where we individually fall short of a humane-being. Where we are too selfish to want for others what we want for ourselves. Or, where we are so caught in the trap of greed that we have waxed-cold to the legitimate aspirations of others especially if they are outside of our particular ethnic, religious or , social background.

These truths that have been serviced by empty rhetoric from  those in positions of power in this country, has further denatured the true spirit of so-called brotherhood in this great nation.  What is needed is a major overhaul of the attitudes that are promoted as sane by the leaders of this country and echoed by their constituents.

All of us must seriously consider that this time in which we live is demanding  that the whole of humanity get with the program that originated life in the beginning. The very reasons why in the diversity of the human family there is a unity that must exist if we are to ever realize peace on earth. Nature as diverse as it is, paints for us the picture of how diversity in unity has no incongruity. What's wrong that we of whom creation is to be subservient, can't  manage to find the interlocking mechanism that will bring about the peace and contentment of mind that we all so valiantly seek? Only you the reader can answer for yourself this question. Remember time dictates all things.....What time is it?

HI Darwyn,

What time is it?  I'll say it is time for folks to take Stephen Covey's advice and with regard to political energy and effort, "Begin with the end in mind."

To that I'll add a few more of my favorites.  But first, I wouldn't suggest everyone do these things only that for some folks, it is time.

- Align the consequences of your behavior with your stated goal.

- Learn to distinguish between intentions and consequences. (this is the only way the previously stated alignment is possible.)
