the mute button You needn't listen to all the noise.by Earl Todd Singleton

Television has become the most effective tool for brainwashing since the dawn of man. The art of subtle mind control is perfected in modern televised media. "News" programming is really human programming. We are programmed to believe that we are under constant threat of a terrorist attack, planet earth is about to melt down, and Hillary and Rudy are two of America's favorite people.
I search for truth and find deception at every turn. Scientists toe the "fragile ecosystem" line as though natural resiliency didn't exist, while insisting that complex systems must be controlled (an impossibility to date).
I tried the internet in my quest for truth, where all the information in the world is at my fingertips. I typed in Jesus Christ and soon discovered that the Catholic Church is a conspiracy to rule the world. I also learned via internet that extraterrestrial beings live among us, and get high by consuming secretions from our adrenal glands.
So it's back to television, where the blabber that calls itself "news" is really a fantasy for reality-dodgers. The real impact of the tube is imagery so I muted the damned thing. Without the bothersome verbiage, I conducted an assessment of what I saw. Instinct took over, and conclusions were reached on the basis of visual perception alone. Following are some of my findings:
Obama could be a good salesman.
Romney could be a hairstyle model/televangelist.
Hillary has Lizzie Borden eyes.
Giuliani is the most sickening man alive.
Prez Bush looks a lot like Alfred E. Newman.
I would like to assess Dr. Ron Paul, but he never seems to be on when I'm watching. Maybe I'll just quit watching.

They use the fragile ecosystem line because species are falling off the planet at an alarming rate. They, as scentist, recognize the fragility of the balances nature has attained on its own, because they exist.
Sunday morning televangelist are the biggest source of brainwashing extant on the tube. Scary that people watch these people, and send them money.
What is not taught is critical viewing. Critical reading. Critical anything.
Science will roll along making discoveries without us. Most of us aren't even smart enough to keep up.
