Trashing Obama With numerous Trash-Obama emails pouring in every day, someone finally asked me... "Watchca think about this?" I replied.... by Kipper Mathews

Since you asked....
I think that after 8 years of George Bush destroying our country with deregulation of Big Oil, Wall Street, Madoff, the banking and mortgage industries . ...lying to the us and the world to go into Iraq for oil...and as far as some are concerned...GW being implemented in some degree with orchestrating 911....that Obama is a breath of fresh air.
Get it while you can.
I think nothing is less patriotic than a bunch of treasonous Conservative Republicans or anyone else standing up in front of a podium and saying that they want America and Obama to fail, no matter what he does for the country, In some sick way they think that that will make eight years of the Republican's destruction of America look better and save them some undeserved face.
I didn't vote for Obama ... I voted for Ron Paul.
Obama....America's new President has been on the job a little over 2 months. In that short amount of time he hasn't even had a chance to get a full Cabinet together and people are already complaining.
I personally hope he can pull it off and save us all from damage done by the All-About-the-Wealthy Republicans. Until the man "bleeps" something up..... I'm behind him 100%.
There is nothing that he can do that can not be changed four years from now with a new administration. Obama is not "The End of the World."
If people don't agree with him that is their prerogative.
But in this great country, as Americans we need to join together (at least for a while) and pull this country back from the ruins of the Bush dynasty.
Work towards getting your political leader elected in the next election.... but don't destroy our country trying to make your party look better this early in the game. We need to keep all options on the table and push the agendas that the majority of voters voted for (Obama's agendas) and push them through.
Bitch-n-moan later.
I can't believe that anyone really thinks that this sabotaging of the new President is going to in some way help the USA get back on our feet. Are some of these people so financially secure that they're willing to risk bankrupting the United States to prove their party is superior?
I hope not.
View Point: There is just too many clueless people in this country that believe that professional wrestling and the manure they hear on Fox News is in some way reality.
If you saw it on Fox.... don't send it to me.
Also in the news...It has been reported this week that Rupert Murdock's net wealth has gone down 57% over the last year. That's a drop from over 9 billion to just over 4 billion. (MSNBC)
Was he a Madoff investor? I hope so.
Continue the boycott....People are slowly but surely catching on.

Dear Kipper -
I still boycott Fox on TV, but they have an online "Freedom Watch" show with Ron Paul hosted by Judge Napolitano. If that goes live, I'll break my boycott to watch it. http://www.nolanchart.com/article6035.html
I understand your point about it being too early - less than 100 days and all that, but Obama and Congress has already passed another $800 billion ($1.1 Trillion with the interest tacked on) in what will be a loser of a stimulus. He is continuing Bush's policies. In fact, a better name for it would have been "The Barack Obama Re-election Bill of 2011-12" as most of the spending will not have impact until then.
There is nothing wrong with "hope" for "change" as long as its not misplaced. I don't recall anyone placing a gun to Obama's head and forcing him to select Tim "Turbo Tax" Geithner, head of the NY FED (the DIRECT ROOT CAUSE of the problem) and international banker from the BIS, as our Secretary of Treasury.
It is a false hope to believe that Obama's appointee Geithner (and Bernanke's) recent unconstitutional ploy to get the power to control non-bank institutions was done without Obama's permission.
It is my opinion that Obama, who I believe truly means well, if that's any consolation, is basically being trucked out to the public to keep us calm while our economy's murder is completed, as a lot of the government damage inflicted on the taxpayer and economy could still be reversed, and future damage hasn't occurred yet.
I agree with Ron Paul's view that this COULD have been a very serious 1-year recession starting back in 2007 (followed 3-5 years later by another serious recession) to cover the economic damage inflicted by gov't and the Federal Reserve.
Instead we have a multi-year depression occuring, and total monetary system collapse via derivatives+equity+now gov't bonds market and inefficiencies introduced by the FED/gov't becoming a far more likely scenario.
I realize the above likely won't change your mind, but what do you think about the points I raised?
I couldn't agree with you more Jake on the economic points. The thing is, and I believed this before the election, Obama couldn't end the Fed if he wanted to, it is way bigger than him or anyone for that matter. The whole stimulus thing is fairly nuts, but they have convinced him that is the way to go and with his headstrong programs in his mind, I guess it makes perfect sense to him.
This system is way beyond policy change, what is in place is the result of a long concentrated effort over many decades or possibly centuries/those pulling the strings will resist any attempt, as we have seen, to let it evolve into a more natural or really a more 'economic' system.
I also think Obama [far from ideal] is a vast improvement in most other areas including personal liberties and foreign relations, although I don't see any logic in being in 'ghanny. Bush was as close to a 'tyrant' as we have had and no president in recent history has caused half the damage he did, so the standard is fairly low right now!
[...but Obama and Congress has already passed another $800 billion ($1.1 Trillion with the interest tacked on) in what will be a loser of a stimulus.]
What about GW's 2-3 trillion dollar wars and his trillion dollar bail-out for the banks... If it wasn't for those bad decissions we would be able to invest in the US with a lot less pain.
It seems that the Republicans have forgotten about all the money they have wasted over the past few years and now push the total cost of recovery off on Obama. They may have forgotten, but I sure haven't.
I personally feel more comfort in spending tax payer dollars to help the working class Americans than I do helping billionairs keep their mansions or giving it to Haliburton to rebuild Iraq.
We need to stop calling Obamas plan a Stimulous and start calling it the Lifeline that it is to keep the US from crasihng into a deeper depression and bankruptcy.
I have to agree. I am all for a utopia with sound money and no government intervention in a truly free market. But if you ask me the real world question "Would you rather spend a couple trillion bombing and occupying Iraq or spend a trillion on alternate energy and health care?", the answer is way too easy!
I think that after 8 years of George Bush destroying our country with deregulation of Big Oil, Wall Street, Madoff, the banking and mortgage industries . ...lying to the us and the world to go into Iraq for oil...and as far as some are concerned...GW being implemented in some degree with orchestrating 911
Just how did Gw deregulate big oil? Please explain.
The very people who should have caught on to Madoff are now working in high places in the Obama administration.
The mortgage industry problems started when Carter instituted the Community Reinvestment Act. The problem was exacerebated when Clinton greatly expanded the program (with the help of a few republicans), and then he sicced his justice department on the banks, forcing them to open satelite offices in risky areas. Janet Reno then forced those banks to solicit customers from those areas. That is when the creative financing began, so the banks could have a way to do risky mortgages for people who realistically had no way to repay a mortgage. From 2001 until 2007 GW sent regulators to the Hill in an attempt to put the brakes on Fannie and Freddie. Each time they were called racists and shouted down by the black and hispanic caucuses, and Barney Frank.
Also McCain introduced several bills aimed at regulating Fannie and Freddie but he was also shot down.
Gw had exactly the same intelligence information that Russia, France, Germany and the other industrialized nations had, indicating Hussein had wmds, which very possibly were moved to Syria. The congress, including Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and most other democrats voted to go to war.
If it was for oil how come we are still paying an arm and a leg for gas?
Prior to GW becoming president U S interests, including the World Trade Center were attacked by radical muslim terrorists. After the WTC bombing in the 90s Clinton didn't even bother to go to New York City. During his tenure he could have had Bin Laden several times and refused to take him. He emboldened the terrorists. The 9/11 attacks were in the planning long before GW became president and they ocurred just 8 months after he became president.
The Wall Street meltdown ocurred because on 9/15 the Federal Reserve noticed at 11AM huge simultaneous draw downs on many money market accounts. By their estimation by 4PM that day 5 trillion dollars would have been withdrawn, collapsing the U S economy and in the next 24 hours the world economy. They suspended withdrawals. If you remember the panicked looks on Bush's, Paulson's and Bernake's faces that is why. It was Geithner, Obama's tax cheat treasury secretary, who put the almost trillion dollar TARP package together and helped convince every one that was the only way to save the economy. Then Obama convinced the congress to appoint Geithner Treasury Secretary because he allegedly is the only one who understands the TARP program.
Soros, a marxist and an ardent Obama supporter, made his billions by manipulating the world currencies. He is about the only one who could have orchestrated the Wall Street meltdown.
When GW was runnig Soros stated he would spend his whole fortune, if necessary, to defeat him. I have no doubt he was again willing to risk everything to defeat McCain. Soros is now pushing to get the banks nationalized. And by the way he made 1.5 billion dollars this year, in spite of the financial melt down. He is incredibily smart, crafty and willing to do anything in his power to kill capitalism for the rest of us. But that is how marxists, facists and communist officianados think and work. Riches and power for them and total control of the people by them.
There is definitely enough blame to go around but please base it on facts instead of wild emotions.
There are no excuses when you are POTUS. If you feel that you are justified in spending trillions so quickly, you do not get to use the excuse that you have not even had time to seat your cabinet.
That is why this job is not designed for On Job Training. Hell, he was not even an effective senator.
I want Obama to fail...for if he succeeds I will have less freedom in the future. His success will come at my expense.
