Death Cultism and the Democrat Party
The Democrat Leadership has made Abortion its baptism and Euthanasia its Last Rite.
Not since the tragic Supreme Court ruling of Roe v. Wade has it become more apparent that there are elements within this nation that want to winnow away the "excess" population through the manipulation of healthcare. Since Tom Daschle and gang are back in charge (well not so much Daschle since he is a tax cheat), it looks like the Democrat leadership is back to its same ole game of assaulting "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness" with the primary assault on "Life". In the new spending bill that's supposed to save the nation, the Dem's slipped in a provision that basically will ration health care, first for the elderly and then for the rest of the peons. So at some point when the parents of Gen X'ers are sick, or if there are any Grandparents left, the attending doctor will have to get permission to ease the pain and or symptoms of the patient by calling Washington DC, with the possibility that Marion Berry (he needs a job) will be on the other end of the phone approving or disapproving the treatments that the doctor wants to give.
Never mind that socialized medicine is not working in the countries where it is being tried. The citizens of Canada are at this moment suing their government for the right to have their own health-care plan and not one that is controlled by the state. (1) The basic problem for the Canooks is that one is having to wait for treatment. Often times that treatment is needed immediately and the bean counters in the Toronto or Vancouver are delaying treatment for months. This can often turn an easily treatable condition into a life threatening or life ending scenario. What assaults the standards of decency in this whole sorry mess is the Social Darwinism that is on full display. This health care rationing is little more than an attempt to stifle the individual liberty of Americans as guaranteed under the Bill of Rights and rid the nation of "excess population".
Which American is willing to go to their parent and say,"Sorry, mom/dad you don't get chemo therapy, you're too old. Just take this blue pill instead and all the pain will go away forever." One wonders if the compassionate Congressman that voted for this bill is going to ration the health care for their parents or are there two sets of standards here. "Daschle says health-care reform "will not be pain free." Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. That means the elderly will bear the brunt." Betsy McCaughey writing for Bloomberg.com
If the arrogance and cold heartedness of that statement does not take the average Americans breathe away, then this nation has been anesthetized to the point of no return and it may be time for the people to learn about the Founding Fathers.
