To a Candid World

In the spirit of the Silk Revolution announced by Emma Goldman (21-ARA) here on Nolan Chart, I submit the song lyrics below as the first original song for the new soundtrack being compiled for the Silk Revolution.

I'm looking for a recording artist willing to collaborate with me.  I need an acoustic guitarist.  Preferrably Gordon Lightfoot himself, but for the initial project, it won't be necessary.  Please contact me via my email address linked by my name on the upper right corner of the Tower Liberty Institute home page (link).

I dedicate it to the start of the Ron Paul Revolution, begun in 2007, his Campaign for Liberty, begun in 2008, and to the start of Emma Goldman's (21-ARA) Silk Revolution, begun in 2008.

Song Title: "Sundown on Dishonesty"
Song Writer : Nickalis N. Tower (slightly modified lyrics from the original song written January 2006 and first published on the internet March 2006 in memorium to Frank R. Wallace)

Sung to Melody of Gordon Lightfoot 'Sundown'.  Up tempo.

V1
Dishonesty's rule will come to an end.
It's gonna die fast, I promise you my friend.

C1
How sad... centuries it's been,
they duped you before, and they'll try it again.

C2
When will America win?
When we vote all incumbents on their ass my friends.

V2
It's not about Bush or Clinton my friends,
it's dishonesties corrupting everyone that's "in".

C3
Watch for the sleight of their hands,
They emptied your pockets and they'd do it again.

C4
When will America win?
When we vote all incumbants on their ass my friends.

V3
It's not about corporate greed for more,
it's for those pointing blame rests at the core.

C5
When will the middle class rise?
When we aren't hoodwinked by the pervasive lies.

C6
When will living begin,
when you're wielding honesty -- then my friend.

V4
It's not about welfare or union demands,
it's making something of yourself, becoming a man.

C7
When will your life move ahead?
When you DROP the envy from your mind my friend.

C8
Let's make the parasites wilt,
let us stop accepting the unearned guilt.

C9
When will honesty win?
When you DROP the envy from your minds my friends.

C10
When will America win?
WHEN WE VOTE IN HONESTY, THEN MY FRIENDS.

By the way, isn't RON PAUL an INCUMBENT?  Good riddance.  There are more of US than there are of YOU to refill those seats.
