Topic: Federal Reserve
My Mantra Is Just Fine Thank You

To Reach Different People, We Have To Travel All Available Paths.

Reforming our country’s decades old monetary policy that is robbing the people requires us to approach it at all angles and would be considered intelligent to do so.  Not only are people like others and me inside these walls working to rebuild the party, but also we are working on educating others outside of the web.  We are talking about the central problems to our economy, our country, and each other’s liberties.  Most of us here, who truly care, become an educational force outside of the digital rooms.

For instance, I would like to tell you about my night yesterday evening.

End the Fed has encouraged me to gather signatures for a petition to help in bringing legislation to the table to end the Federal Reserve.  While in the act of gathering signatures I have had many conversations with people outside the walls of these organizational websites.

What I have found is that every single person I take the time to sincerely talk to listen and then are engaged to the point of throwing out questions or some light-hearted rebuttals.  While being in sales for the past 12 years, I understand the fundamentals of these responses and that these responses are what lead up to a sale.

What easier product could one sell than the freedom that inspired our founders to risk life and limb?  They put their entire future at risk as they understood that their futures would be irrelevant if they did not take action at all.  They did not have the luxury of written law to fall back on that specifically protected their life and liberty.  We do, the Constitution, and our country is steeped in a tradition of freedom and liberty that everyone, I mean everyone, has a profound love for.

These questions and remarks to me means they want to know more, so I proceed accordingly.

So last evening, I decided I wanted some time away from the wife and kids and I would meet up with an old buddy of mine.  He was running late so I step into the bar to order a drink.  In the process of ordering my drink, I bumped into this guy who was celebrating his friends 21st birthday with family, friends, and neighbors.  He starts chatting with me after I apologized for bumping him.

Next thing you know…we are talking about the Federal Reserve when I go to pay for my drink with Federal Reserve Notes.

Moments later I step out to my car and grab the petitions I had with me.  While these two were signing this petition, their mother came over and started to chat with me.  She told me she was their younger sister and I played along for a laugh.  After her little bit of flirting, she asked what her son and friend were signing.

After explaining what was going on with the petition, she looked at me with the palest and straightest face I had seen.  Her flirtatious smile had left and she asked me an interesting question.  She asked me if I had voted for our county commissioner.  It turns out the kid’s whose birthday they were celebrating had his uncle, the County Commissioner who is a Republican, sitting at the back table.

I felt I had taken enough of their fun party time away as 15 minutes had passed since we had begun to talk.  Plus I had another place to go, so to answer her, I smiled and asked her a question.

"Could you just do me a favor?  I have spent already 15 minutes of your time while you should be out there enjoying Craig’s 21st birthday.  Could you just do me a favor and hand this House Resolution to Bob for me and let him know that I will be giving him a call later in the week?"

"Sure thing honey," she replied, "but I really think you should take the time to talk to him now."

So at the end of the evening, I gathered a half a dozen more signatures for this petition, recruited two more people that will be protesting at the Federal Reserve Bank this coming April 25, and I had passed on the legislation verbiage to a Republican politician.  That gentleman, it turns our, is very well connected with my Congressman.  I will be meeting with my Congressman’s Chief of Staff at the end of January.  So steps are being made to rebuild the party while I am gathering signatures.

Come to think of it, at the next county republican meeting I should invite the county commissioner along.  I believe he and I could extend our congratulations to our Congressman regarding his recent U.S. House Appropriation Committee appointment.  Friends in high places is what politics is all about.

To limit one’s activities to just one avenue is shortsighted and many opportunities can be missed.  The momentum needed to make these changes can be lost when one is waiting two years for the next major election to come about.

There is a lot to be done; there are a lot of people that believe in the freedom and liberty we believe in.  Not only do we need to let others know that they have friends that feel the same way they do, but we also need to let these people know that there is organized movement against the Federal Reserve as a whole.  Interest gathers, as does momentum, so the cycle continues.

Those who really care decide to get involved.

Then on some evening in America, in some neighborhood, some person decides to go out and have a couple of drinks.  The next thing you know…!

Each action builds on itself.  Each person plays his or her part.

Screaming at the monster is multiplied to the point where they are surrounded.  So SCREAM at the monster every chance you get and others will pay attention because many more feel the same exact way you do.

R3volt,

Nice work, my good man!

Are you aware of what you had accomplished? You got a politician who actually benefits from the system as it currently is, on your side. Those guys use "money" too and the system that screws us, sticks it to them as well.

Whatever you do, don't let Professor Wiseguy read this reply or even your article, it'll make his head explode. He thinks that I'm all "gloom and doom" hating everything that happens   with nothing positive to say.

With Liberty,

Dan

He can reply all he wants.  At the end of the day, I will continue to battle until my last breath.

I prefer that we use the system we have in place, before people get violent.

No one will say that I didn't care.  No one will say that I didn't try.

This evening, I believe, shows that there are no such things as coincidence.

Ha!  Ha!  Ha!

You can tell the YOUNG ONES who haven't done much petition lugging before.  They think they've found the Holy Grail when a couple of people actually SIGN their petition rather than just sluffing them off.

Great work, R3volt!  I'm sure you'll have at least 100 or 200 people show up at the Fed on April 25th.  That will probably really rock the rafters!  Ha!  Ha!

Make sure to let us know if you find another 3 or 4 people who will sign your petition.  Or, who will even listen to you tell them about it!  Ha!  Ha!  Of course, you could also tell us about the HUNDREDS who won't listen to you, won't sign it, and who will NEVER show up on April 25th.  You just don't seem to have any PERSPECTIVE in your life.  A couple of SIGNATURES mean more to you than HUNDREDS of refusals.  Ain't that kinda like the guy who gets a bite of licorice after he bashes his head against the wall twenty-five times?  Seems like he might learn that there must be a better way to get that licorice.  Maybe he could just borrow some money from the banks and buy a bag for himself!  Ha!  Ha!

Hey, Steward ~

Patting some of your buddies on the back is like kissing your sister.  If you think that's "positive", I guess you're more of a hillbilly than I thought you were!

Dear Tiny Tim,

I hadn't read your previous article yet asking people "What Will You Do To Help End The Federal Reserve?" but I ventured through it today out of curiosity.  I thought it might somehow relate to this big project of yours to gather signatures and mount a mighty demonstration at the Fed on 4/25.

Let me just contribute two comments to what I read: One, the quality of your writing is embarrassingly poor.  For you to portend to represent any kind of national organization greatly DEGRADES the impression that anyone might have of the intellectual and political level of the group you represent.  You make it look like a HAYSEED group of CORNFED YOKELS, and can only detract from the efforts of other, more qualified, spokespeople.  Secondly, I would say that your comment about: "The solutions are simple:" made me LAUGH OUT LOUD!  1) eliminating the Fed and various other institutions, 2) returning to sound money backed by gold, 3) eliminate the national debt by buying it back with a sound currency....   Blah, blah, blah.  Do you ever READ what you WRITE?  Tell me what's so "SIMPLE" about ANY of these issues, except for your assertion that they are simple?

As some examples of why your writing is so pathetic, and degrades the efforts of more educated members of your group, here are some observations to try to help you.

Some of your comments in the letter to Steven Gold bordered on illiterate, like:  "I am writing you today" (no ~ you are writing TO him not writing him), "a significant portion of the national debt is a direct result of the Federal Reserve" (not true ~ CONGRESS spends the money, the FED only creates it.)

The fragment of a sentence that reads: "...all of our Federal Income Tax goes towards the payment of interest on the printing of our currency that is backed by nothing and the ever growing balance sheet of this private bank." should be embarrassing to anyone who composed it, let alone to someone who contends that they represent a national group.  The word should be "toward" not "towards" to match the singular tense of the word "all".  Secondly, you're quoting a 1984 document without any attribution to the current situation (some 24 years later!) which is even FALSE in the way you phrased it.  The fact that we ONLY pay INTEREST on the national debt is NOT the same as all of the Federal Income Tax goes toward interest on the Federal Debt.  It is PURE IGNORANCE of what you're saying and what you're implying.  It is certainly a shameful and FALSE intimation.  Thirdly, your run-on statement reading "...that is backed by nothing and the ever growing balance sheet of the this private bank." links the thought that the currency is backed by nothing (which EVERYONE knows ~ which is not illegal, not a new insight, and not a damning statement) with the word "and" when it should be linked with at least a more explanatory remark like (although THIS is way beyond YOUR ability, I'm sure) "which endangers our economic stability even more because of the ever-growing balance sheet of this private bank."

I'm not going to go on because I have read so much of your stuff before, I know you're incapable of doing much better.  Probably were homeschooled, or just didn't pay much attention in those English classes.  Wanted to get out and tear down some institutions, huh!

Just as I would recommend that you not try to join the national football league or run for President, I would also recommend that you let OTHERS write letters for you if you want to make a more educated and positive impression.

I admire you passion, but your energy is misdirected.

If my efforts are so worthless and will not achieve anything, then why try to counter them by name calling and pointing our grammatical errors?  Would it not be prudent to just let me run around like a chicken with my head cut off and let my efforts waste away to nothing.

The fact that you spend so much time and attention on little ol' "Tiny Tim" and my adventures of trying to "tear down some institutions", makes me wonder why you even waste your energy.  You are more than welcome to, but I feel bad for you and your efforts.

You are simply noise to me and I always get a laugh on your pointing out the mistakes in my writing.

Do yourself a favor and read the Grace Commission Report. It indeed details that not a penny of our federal income taxes goes to the "government programs" that have been sold to us.  It is going directly to pay the interest of our national debt.  This interest is paid to the Federal Reserve.  Period.

You can believe anything else you wish and I hope you enjoy your little world of whatever it is that you do.

Congress has been complicent with the Federal Reserve because the Congress can be irresponsible with the Federal Reserve mechanisms.  If we were in a free society with sound money, our government would have to appropriate money, tax the people, spend the money and know exactly what was going on. But, if a secret bank can just create money out of thin air then they [the government] can circumvent the people and circumvent the Congress, and they can go expand the money supply for programs that cannot be sustained by our government and the government does not have to be responsible.

If we tax the American people for all of the government programs that exist today, it would end in weeks. We don't have the money and these unconstitutional programs are not solvent. If you inflate the currency you can delay the payment and only have to worry about high prices down the road.

The Fed is indeed making things worse. By backing the wrong-headed actions by Congress and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and by purchasing hundreds of billions of dollars of private securities, the Fed is propping up businesses and financial institutions that either should be permitted to fail or at least reorganize to become more economically viable. The recent actions by the Fed also prevent resources from flowing to those areas of the economy that are financially stronger, thus weakening the entire economy.

The central problem in the U.S. economy is that the Fed, by pursuing a wrongheaded policy of artificially lowering interest rates and conducting a regime of easy credit, has encouraged malinvestments on a massive scale. After the malinvestments were exposed, the Fed then piled onto the damage by attempting to prevent their liquidation.

Remember, our country did just fine from 1776-1913 without a central bank, without a burdensome government, without an unconstitutional direct Federal Income Tax, and the market shined to the point where we were the envy of the world.

Just remember that our country is a Constitutional Republic. We democratically elect our leaders to uphold the charter of the Republic, which is the Constitution.  Bush has not upheld our Constitution and neither will Obama.  I would like to do my part to hold our elected officials reponsible and your efforts to stiffle me just create an even greater amount of energy to my efforts.

Here is where Bush has refused to uphold the Constitution.

Endless armed Middle East Conflicts without congressional Declarations of war?
Economic catastrophe resulting fro a PRIVATELY OWNED central bank and a debt-based fiat dollar?
Deprivations of privacy and an emerging police state via the “USA Patriot Act”?
Unconstitutionally imposed direct, unapportioned taxes on American labor?
A president-elect who refuses to produce evidence establishing his status as a “natural born” Citizen as required by the Constitution.
Deprivations of the Rights to a People’s Militia and to Keep and Bear Arms?
The NAU?
The Fed/Treasury bailouts?
Uncontrolled borders and immigration?
Electronic voting?
Most importantly, a servant government that refuses, at every turn, to be held accountable – in any way – by failing to respond to the People’s repeated First Amendment Petitions for Redress of Grievances.

If you, Master C, do not wish to hold our representative to the Constitution, that is fine.  I choose liberty and liberty entails you to be who you are.  I feel for you MasterC, to have that much time to try and change my efforts.  They will not work, so enjoy the proofreads.  I appreciate the help in teaching me the king's enlish.

By the way, you must hate your retirement years and resent the fact that your Social Security Check doesn’t have the same purchasing power it did when you started receiving them.  Blame that one on the inflationary practices of the Federal Reserve.   While the idea of you withering away on your keyboard at the old-folks home is indeed comical to me, I do have to say that I am glad that you are no longer teaching our college kids your drivel.  It is a shame that some institution actually paid you money to spout off your nonsense like you do.  It is no wonder our children are ill-equipped in economics any more.  I must have had a similar irrelevant English teacher.  Perhaps you know her from your travels.  If there is one of you out there chances are there are more.  As you know, birds of a feather flock together, so say “Hi” to Mrs. Libman for me the next time you and she are arguing over a microwave dinner while yelling at the orderlies.    The good news is that most of the people that possess your mentality are heading off to other important aspects of our economy like watching Wheel of Fortune and Matlock or getting your funeral suit prepared.  You too will soon no longer be relevant and out of the way. Let me just say that I look forward to those days. Most of your responses to people are rude and generally have little supporting evidence to back up your rebuttals.  I find it hard to believe that someone your age needs to resort to such childish tactics in debates, especially such an esteemed professor.   Let me just say that I now understand why you take such energy in pointing out others shortcomings.  It indeed feels a little good on the short run.  In the end though, I realize that you are a waste of my time and my energy is best suited elsewhere.   And don’t you worry your Depends ridden but, I will soon go buy that Hooked-on-Phonics lesson and one

Hey, Timmy,

You always write before you think, and even then I doubt whether some real thinking goes into it.

I read as much stuff as interests me on this website and several others.  I contribute to this website and several others as well as write professionally (get paid) for assignments I'm interested in.

I am about 60% through a fictional novel about a college Economics instructor who discusses many of his own theories, and I have published a 163 page children's novel (which is on Amazon and Barnes & Noble for those lusting to find out more about me).

I have no particular interest in YOU or many of the other loonies on this site.  My interest is in pointing out the inaccuracies, unclear thinking, and self-centered,bigoted values of people who want to tear down institutions that have made America great.  The FED is ONE of them.  Without fiat currency, this country ~ and others around the world ~ would be stagnating in the ill-conceived notion that gold-backed currency can EXPAND with the booming economic activity that has occurred ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

This backward thinking of innocents like you who believe that INDIVIDUALISM is FREEDOM and GOLD-BACKED CURRENCY is better than FIAT CURRENCY should be stamped out like the tiny little scruff of a fire that you are.  Just because 12 or 13 ill-advised, fiat-hating bigots spout off on this website about things being ILLEGAL, UNCONSTITUTIONAL, and FRAUDULENT doesn't inhibit the rest of the WORLD in any way.  We disregard you and your notions over and over and over again.   You're like the song that's never heard.

My purpose in responding to YOU and others on this website is to add the clarifications that are necessary to hold you in check.  Anyone reading these diatribes and false assertions has a right to know why these things exist and why your thinking is WRONG.  If things are so bad and so criminal and so unconstitutional and so illegal, and so....  on and on and on...  then WHY do they exist?

Because PEOPLE WANT THEM.   Because PEOPLE SEE THE BENEFITS OF THEM.  Because they AREN'T illegal, or unconstitutional, etc.

You think you've put on some BIG SHOES because you're trying to obtain signatures for something you think is a BIG DEAL.  I thought someone should cool you down a little so that you at least take a better look at yourself and your abilities.  Not everyone is good at things they like to do.  You probably can't sing a lick, either!  Don't write letters representing a national group if you can't even make sense or sentences.

The thing you could do most to contribute to ANY GROUP would be to go back to NIGHT SCHOOL somewhere, and learn a few rules of grammar.  Or maybe you should read some books about writing instead of focusing so intensely on TEARING INSTITUTIONS DOWN.

Believe me, my comments are for your own sake.   You are NOT a good example of people who have YOUR point of view.

Don't worry C, your little fiat dream will soon be over anyway.  Fiat money doesn't last and it cannot survive under the burden of its own self-created debt.

Since you were a teacher, you should be able to find a way to use this new fangled computer to investigate just how long fiat currencies last.  Better yet, the libraries are still in operation and will have some good information onthe path our dollar is headed at the hads of our Federal Reserve.  It is doomed for failure.

We can either convert to sound money and eliminate these problems or we can crash in a firey death.  I know which path you have choosen, but I have decided on another calmer path.

While I may have limitations in my writing abilities, I have the ability to organize and help in this movement.  You attempts to squash that are all for not.

Enjoy those "golden years" while your savings will is depleted by your beloved Fed.

I think the greatest reason you are so angry is that we wish not to buy into the same system that you are now relying on for your retirement years.  The ponzie shceme of our government programs and dollar denominated debt rely on more fools to fill the voids people like you left behind.  You need more fools to support the death of the programs that now are responsible for maintaining your life.

Truth be told, you have been had.  I wish not to be.

So enjoy your rants and enjoy becoming a pauper.

R3VOLUTION : FREE AMERICANS FROM THE FEDERAL RESERVE

END AMERICAN ECONOMIC SLAVERY

FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL : IT’S ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY

An educated public is an essential ingredient of a free society. Ambitious governments would have far greater difficulty implementing schemes that undermine liberty and prosperity were they faced with an informed and vigilant population.

When will any of our elected officials talk about the real cause of our economic problems, the privately owned corporation who pays no taxes, the Federal Reserve.

The Federal Reserve holds a monopoly on “the people’s” currency and it’s policies of manipulating interest rates thereby expanding and contracting the supply of money which directly cause these boom and bust business cycles. This results in massive malinvestment & the elusive “inflation tax”. Inflation is in reality, you & I being robbed by the devaluation of our currency’s purchasing power by the Federal reserve lowering it’s interest rate (currently at 0 to .25%) & thereby increasing the amount of money in circulation. Imagine being robbed without someone physically taking the money from your pocket. Yeah, it’s a pretty violating feeling once you learn about it. Welcome to the R3VOLUTION.

You see, the Federal Reserve “lends” our money to our government at interest. Now the first problem I have with this is, if we are an independent, free nation, why would this system be necessary? Well, the bottom line is that it was established to be the “the lender of last resort” & after the past year of Billions in bailouts, which really is just future debt obligations that you & I and A LOT of unborn babies are now obligated with this debt only to be paid back, with interest, through income, payroll, you name it taxes. The American taxpayers and their future generations are now the “lender of last resort”.

This is absolutely a scam on such a massive scale.

Central economic planning doesn’t work & neither does our government throwing billions of future taxpayer debt into the pockets of these banks and their shareholders. Read about fractional reserve banking. In Aug. 2004, the Federal Reserve, increased the reserve ratios for all the major Wall street investment firms from 10 to 1 to 40 to 1.

We need to fix our monetary policy and reform back to a constitutional, sound money policy that would prevent any “bubbles” from taking shape to begin with. The business cycles and recessions are a consequence of having a privately owned central bank, who isn’t required to have any oversight by our elected officials & pays no taxes, artificially manipulating & controlling interest rates and the money supply. Read about it because you’ll never see any media coverage about this.

Our government and monetary system do not work for we the people, we the people work for it, as slaves. If you don’t pay taxes, they can throw you in jail right?

You’d think by now, with all the information & technology, with all the abundant resources and all the previous history, that we as a people would be able to be free in the sense of, absence of debt. We pay and labor our entire lives realistically to support an quasi-empirical empire who’s only objective is PROFIT & expansion of Big Government.

Our society is being held back by the amount a time required to sustain any kind of decent quality of life. and for what? to be SAFE? to be Happy? No, to continue to fund a corrupt government that serves corporate interests, not the peoples, it serves profit interests.

There is no longer a people’s voice in government, only the lobby’s have a voice.

How many support the bailouts?

How many agree with the government’s forced social security ponzi scheme?

How many agree that our government isn’t serving it’s peoples interests but only corporate big business interests?

How many agree that we want a privately owned central bank controlling our monetary policy?

How many agree that our economy will improve with more government spending of future debt that my generation and all 3 of my children’s generation will be immorally obligated with?

Deficit spending does not stabilize home values.

We must reject being held hostage by a monopolistic monetary policy!

We must create a interest free, competing sound currency issued by our US Treasury & not controlled or issued by the Federal Reserve, like Kennedy tried to do….

Because PEOPLE WANT THEM.   Because PEOPLE SEE THE BENEFITS OF THEM.  Because they AREN'T illegal, or unconstitutional, etc.

If people wanted this institution, then why confiscate all of the U.S. citizens gold under Presidential Executive Order 6102 with the threat of 10 years imprisonment?  Because it was a threat to that institution.  Gold could have continued to circulate but, it was a threat because of the depreciating value of the paper money.  In very short time, people would no longer accept the paper money and continue with their gold.  This is what happened in California during the Civil war and the issuance of the Greenback.  Anyone who paid debts with Greenbacks was a marked man, a swindler, who paid his debts with devaluating currency.

It was also "legal" to put Japanese citizens in concentration camps without any constitutional justification.  It was also "legal" to slaughter millions of Jews in Germany.  "Legal" only has meaning according to the law that the government puts in place.  There is a great distinction between legal and just, moral and constitutional.

However, you are correct, there are people who see the "benefits of them"  These are the ones that are the receiving end of the scam.

Anyone dedicating time to promote change to better the freedoms earned so long ago by the blood and sweat of our fore fathers should be supported, and treated as a patriot, and true american in the sense that we are defined in our beloved constitution.Any person dedicating themselves to pick out mispellings, and other rediculous points, is simply a waste of our air, and a speed bump on the road to progress.A skid mark on the underwear of society at best. These people are in a constant state of denial, and will be the ones that continue to carry the banner of slavery through wage manipulation. Their failure to understand the nature of the illegal enterprise known as the federal reserve, will enable their children to hold out their hands to enjoy their parents glee as they place the shackles on their own. This is the deception they have bestowed on you, and you can endure it as you deserve. As for me I may not be a scholar, and able to impress with my grammar, but i am endowed with the capacity to understand slavery when i see it. I will die, before I will ever trade the freedom of truth and free thought, before I will accept the ideals of those that wish to oppress it. Through peaceful means, and signatures is the path that free, constitutional americans have chose to be heard. And in that premise we also welcome the ignorant their right to be heard. Even though they fail to realise that, and choose to give that right away. The day will come after the peaceful efforts have failed that we will be given a choice, And on that day along with my fellow patriots that too recognize a travisty in disguise,( i'm talking about the logical people that have signed the end the fed documents,) I will do as what my founding fathers did and shout from the loudest voice i can muster,"Give me liberty or give me death." Never give in to the ideals of the confused and blind.

For education of your enslavement, and the masters of it, please go to google video, and watch ,"the money masters".We never wanted the fed, they acted in deceit in thrusting it upon us, and to this day is illegal, just as the wage tax, and the criminal IRS. educate yourself in this, and never mind your puncuations and grammer, as when speaking, we know what you are saying, and that is more important than condesending and correcting people as if you are better in some way. And referring again to the great piece of paper called the constitution, we are all created equal.

Tim,

To find solace in others "out there" who are ready and willing to jump on any bandwagon that spells DESTRUCTION is like feeling better when you get your first gun.  You can easily confuse HAVING a gun with USING a gun.  And, to many, the words are synonymous.  This Cantwell character sure has all the markings of t-r-o-u-b-l-e, if you ask me.

I thought I would add that your messages of doom and collapse have been NUMEROUSLY noted.  Everyone who knows you knows how you feel.  What I'm hoping to add to that one-track, nihilistic mind of yours is just a SEED of interest in trying to broaden your interest in educating yourself about the Federal Reserve along with just a little interest in trying to EDUCATE yourself about how pathetic your words and assertions look when they're misspelled, misapplied, or badly misunderstood.

Check out your last comments.  I noted your mistakes in boldface, and my corrections in parentheses.  I would have corrected your punctuation, too, but I thought that was probably something much farther beyond your grasp, so I just stuck to simpler things on which you might be able to work.

We can either convert to sound money and eliminate these problems or we can crash in a firey (fiery) death.  I know which path you have choosen (chosen), but I have decided on another calmer path.

While I may have limitations in (on) my writing abilities, I have the ability to organize and help in this movement.  You (Your) attempts to squash that are all for not (naught).

Enjoy those "golden years" while your savings will is (are) depleted by your beloved Fed.

I think the greatest reason you are so angry (find this website so bigoted, blind, and consumed by hysteria) is that we wish not to (don't wish to, or don't want to) buy into the same system that you are now relying on for your retirement years.  The ponzie shceme (scheme) of our government programs and dollar denominated debt rely (relies) on more fools to fill the voids (void) people like you left (leave) behind.  You need more fools to support the death of the programs that now are responsible for maintaining your life.  (I'm afraid this whole sentence is bewildering to me.  "support the death", "programs now responsible", "maintaining your life".  Just a bewildering blur of buzzwords that have no coherent meaning.)

Truth be told, you have been had.  I wish not to be.  So enjoy your rants and enjoy becoming a pauper.

Tim, I have enough money to save BOTH of us.  Perhaps even a few more.  My father left me quite a lot of money when he died several years ago (working within our EVIL system as a successful attorney) and I have retired with no debt, some very safe investments, and about all the things around me that I could ever want.  That hardly makes me fear becoming a pauper.

Not only that, but by NOT living in an HYSTERICAL FOG of fear, spite, hate, and bitterness, I am in excellent health, enjoy a wonderful family, have a very comfortable home, still enjoy going on vacations with my wife, attend church regularly, read for at least 30 minutes or an hour every night before going to sleep (usually novels, biographies, classics, poetry, or history), and enjoy cooking, writing, photography, and can still play a very competitive game of BASKETBALL and TENNIS.

Things could turn out for you like that if you just took that chip off your shoulder, decided to study a little harder, listen a little more, argue a little less, and saw the futility of fighting a system that is bigger, better, and far more desirable to most people than Ayn Rand, Murray Rothbard, or Ron Paul are ever going to give to you.

But, we all have to make our own choices.  You've already made a lot of yours ~ and you've chosen to learn how to fight rather than to spell or compose a sentence, and even those fights you've chosen have been against the wrong ideas.

quoting "Master C":

"if things are so bad and so criminal and so unconstitutional and so illegal, and so....  on and on and on...  then WHY do they exist?

Because PEOPLE WANT THEM.   Because PEOPLE SEE THE BENEFITS OF THEM.  Because they ARENT illegal, or unconstitutional, etc"

Wow, thats some logic there, "master".  Economic exploitation, starvation, torture, wars based on lies... throughout history people have wanted them you say.  Well people like the few deranged individuals which you (unknowingly) align yourself with, have surely.  But the majority of people on Earth have never wanted such things, and the only reason they persist is because the few that do want it, for their own beneift of false wealth and power, use constant violence and deception to maintain their unnatural status-quo.  It's troubling to hear you are "teaching" children... telling them everything is perfectly fine, always trust government officials/bankers, they never lie... Luckily there are enough people "home-schooling" themselves to see through the lies that keep humanity from progressing, including the lie that the Fed is not inherently criminal.

But it probably doesn't matter what I, or anyone else says, you may so firmly identify yourself with the status-quo power structure (probably due to natural subconscious insecurities, that you ignorantly deal with by aligning with false external power, that can never compensate for your lack of true inner power, achieved through alignment with Truth/Awareness within)... that you will just keep ignoring any evidence that is presented to you, and continue to live inside a propaganda bubble.

Here's a website with more info & ideas that are counter to the current destructive paradigm, open your mind to it if you can: http://colindonoghue.wordpress.com/

C,

I appreicate all of your insight and assitance.  It is always good to have a dissenting view.

You have your values and I have mine.  That is a beautiful thing.

I don't agree with your philosophy, but you have encouraged me to become more educated in sentence writing.  I will make sure to pay more attention to these details in my future postings.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Enjoy your money and enjoy the fun you have in pointing out other's errors.  It must be a bang-up life that you lead.

While you have wonderful writing skills, you indeed are a bigot.  If I take the chip off of my shoulder and argue less?  This coming from you?  Take a hike boy.  Take a hike.

So far I've seen "C" throw insults, and correct grammar.  I've seen no facts, no thought (other than textbook platitudes anyone can get from fox or the big 3 networks) and no logic.
He is also, by his own admission, a published author of "many" books on Amazon and for one to have enough money for themself as well as someone else means they must have millions.
So, as near as I can tell, he has all the credibility in the world.
So, Master C, preach on.  We are all riveted by the sophomoric grandstandings of a pitiful braggart who has yet to add anything of substance to this thread.

Sorry, "Slippy".  I don't take the time of day from anyone by that name.  Same goes for bloviators like "debt slave" and "Truth for Justice & Peace".

Read my articles if you think I'm shallow.  Although the power of truth, insight, and understanding will probably swallow someone like you up like the whale gobbled up Jonah.

You're as weird and lame as "That 70's Show".  Sing your songs in the shower.  You should wash your mouth out with soap while you're in there.  And, use a little deodorant.  There's a distasteful aroma all around your remarks.  Must be that new shampoo you're using ~ IGNORANCE.

Dear Petitioner,

What an outstanding job you have done for our nation.  Don't fret about the name callers......that is their only defense.  They have no facts and worse yet, they approve of the destruction of the U..S.

You are an inspiration to all of us.  Thank you for your work and concern for this nation.  We are in dire straights.

Still waiting for intelligent comeback.

I isolated the travisty of the gold seizure.

The fact that "legal" is interpreted by government.

And lastly how the system benefits only a few, and you have said...nothing.

So, master, still waiting for intelligent comeback since you are such a master writer and rich to boot.  Show me something now.  Show me that daddy's money paid for an education. Show me more than grandstanding and insults.  I want intelligent debate.  That means facts, dates...anything.  You want to show your intelligence, go for it, I now give you the podium.

(The gauntlet has been thrown.)

Hi there, I wanted to chime in on some of the debate happening in these posted comments.  I believe in free speech and therefore applaud everyone for writing their views.

There are many problems facing us.  The squabbling over such things as grammar is a waste of energy. That being said, I think it is important to present ideas as professionally as possible, and I think that some of the points are valid.

But even this critique is presented in an insulting and destructive manner.  Both sides seem to be emotionally caught up in personal bashing of the other and to my way of thinking totally counter productive.

Debate the issues and the facts as best you know them, is my sincerest suggestion, and avoid the personal attacks and meaningless squabbling. In an open forum, all ideas are welcome.  There are those who are educated, and those who are informed.  They sometimes go together but often do not.

End the FED is a slogan.  I think the task itself is a monumental one.  In attempting to create awareness reducing a complex issue to its essence is very helpful.  This slogan works for those who have a good understanding of the problem, but is simple enough of a rallying cry for those who are just waking up.

Thank you

Excellent point Robert!

I myself say let the present system stand, but release the gold back to the people, i.e. repeal the legal tender laws.  Let the market determine what the best form "money" should take.  I think that once that is done, the fiat currency will be relegated to exactly what it is...worthless paper.  I've heard the argument that some feel that they would rather have paper, and in those instances the silver and gold certificates would serve just fine.  So, we could have real gold, the certificates and then the unbacked "legal tender" floating around and I feel the market will work the issue out.

Sorry, Slippy,

There's no gauntlet when some yokel from another town comes strolling into the saloon and wants a gunfight.  You've got to work your way up to a position like that.  Let's read something YOU'VE written, other than those sentence fragments and uncrafted accusations.

If you want to rumble with the BIG BOYS you've got to show that you've got something worth rumbling over.  Nobody gets a shot at the CHAMPION until they work their way up through the contenders.

I'm curious to see if you can actually write a whole paragraph!  Ha!  Ha!

Master(full of it) C,

I'm STILL waiting for any shred of substance.  You've chosen the stance of pro-Fiat money and pro-Federal reserve.  Your the lone voice in the room singing its praises but with nothing to back it up.

So far it's been blah, blah, blah, I have published, blah, blah, blah, my daddy's money blah, blah, blah, and insults.  More grandstanding on your superiority but showing none of it.  Actually, the "room" is still waiting to hear something.

Dear Slippy,

I've written enough to make my point about the Federal Reserve and many other issues very clear.  You post something and I'll be glad to write a few comments about it.   To say that I'm the only LION TAMER in a cage full of LIONS singing a song only means that I've got a lot of COURAGE!

"The Room", as you call it, has read plenty of my stuff.  I've got nothing to prove to someone who just hoots from the sidelines.  Let's read something you've written ~ if you can!

Greetings all,

I don't normally submit comments, here or elsewhere, but I am irresistably drawn by the caustic treatments in some of the responses to this article.  I want to say that I also feel that the insults and nit-picking are a waste of time and tend to divide all of our efforts to return to monetary policies that promote the general welfare.

I agree that the Fed is a sham and a shame.  We need to return the power to create money (whether it's currency or credit) to the people via Congress.  I do not advocate a return to a gold or silver standard; the gap between GDP and puchasing power cannot be addressed by the limited supply of "precious metals".

Please read some very interesting pieces by Richard C. Cook, or his book:  We Hold These Truths, The Hope of Monetary Reform.  He presents viable solutions that are truly pro-people, pro-capitalist, pro-freedom.  He doesn't advocate silly, idealistic utopias of socialism or other collectivisms, and doesn't have to hide behind flowery language to promote questionable ideologies to which most of us are vulnerable.

Monetary reform can work for every flavor on the political spectrum.  Let's keep building on what we have in common, not tearing each other apart.  Thank you.

Peace, Resistance, Hope,

Mel

Tim I think that it's excellent that your going about getting the signatures that way.  It is true that not many people understand the American Monetary policy.  It's sad that meaningful discussion is so hard to have with people.  Many people think they understand all about it because they took their high school economics class and that it covered everything they needed to know.  I myself was one of them.  When I went for my bachelors the professor taught from the Austrian viewpoint.  I found that class so interesting.  These were concepts I had never heard before.  I think that is what got me interested in the first place.  When one really understands how the Federal Reserve just writes checks on itself, with nothing to back it up is what can truly give one pause.  Most people I talk to still think that our money is backed by some form of gold.  I think the End the Fed dvd is probably the best way to reach people.  It's hard to get people to take the time to read but most will take the time to watch a movie.

Do you have a particular movie that you think gets the information across?

I consider myself an Online Political Activist who's specialty is ORGANIZING.

I was an Air Traffic Controller, a Radio Chief in the Artillery and a Field Radio Operator Instructor during my seven years of active duty in the USMC. After the 241 deaths at Beirut Lebanon in 1983 I decided something was not right at all about our government. I was hired by NYTel (now Verizon) in 1988. I saw Ron Paul on YouTube and began putting it all together.

Knowing how databases can be very powerful when studied and used to their maximum effect together with a strong inner drive to Rebuild the Party using operations I see all of us able to participate in "online" I see ways we can use the Internet to powerfully affect vast capabilities we can put to use in order to grow, organize and put energy behind the issues we desire to WIN!

SIMPLE EXAMPLE: (many things are easily done with "know how")

from http://Freedom.ws/DanHall
I just created an email address for myself of:

republican@r-ny-13-online-organizer-danhall.ws (.ws = web solidarity)

http://ExploreFreedom.com/4Freedom

I intend to encourage everyone in political activism to create for themselves:

Action@Party-State-District-Specialty-Specialty-Name.ws (showing Web Solidarity)

I can show everyone how to do this.

A very useful and effective application of this is our being able to make it very clear to our representatives where we stand.

By filling pages and pages of their "inbox" with our email address as:

From: - - - - - - Seen as from email address:

End The Fed NOW! republican@r-ny-13-online-organizer-danhall.ws
End The Fed NOW! another of us
End The Fed NOW! another of us
End The Fed NOW! another of us

Defeat FOCA NOW! another of us
Defeat FOCA NOW! another of us
Defeat FOCA NOW! another of us
Defeat FOCA NOW! another of us
Defeat FOCA NOW! another of us
Defeat FOCA NOW! another of us

I'm sure you can imagine the secretaries showing this "inbox" to our representative and I don't believe they'd have any misunderstanding. Editors, MSM, Newspaper Reporters... What would they say if millions of us did this? We have the technology.

We can change our email prefixes (republican in mine there) as well as the parameter that shows (Defeat FOCA NOW! there) at will, "on the fly."

Doing this in the thousands and tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands... and eventually millions of us on a moments notice, at times when it was most important (bills being considered, bills coming up for a vote) we can as well let the main stream media know in like fashion where the people stand.

So this and other applications of the email web solidarity, together with many other and varied enhancements to our effectiveness being thus united making themselves known to us as we become more and more familiar with its capabilities... recruiting new people to become active in guarding against government excesses in any matter, we can make We The People stronger.

That being the main objective of it all.

Why don't you try SUPERIOR ARGUMENTS to bring down the Fed?  Because you know THERE AREN'T ANY!

Hey Dan,

I use the downsize DC website to do just that.  I've written for their "read the bills" act as well as several others.  Those are good ideas.  Do you think it works better to have the emails come from many grass roots sources or a few with the header that you suggest?  The only thing that worries me about it is, in the case of the bailout, they simply stopped taking the emails.  Emails were returned with a note that the server was busy.  That's the only bad thing about that.  Also, I don't know if email carries the same weight as a "snail mail" letter when they count them.  Does anyone know how they count/weigh constituent contacts?
