Topic: Presidential Campaign 2008
Ron Paul Vs. Obama Racism

Whats the true racism behind the candidates and the voters.

A lot of people want to look past uncomfortable issues when it comes to their candidates. It’s easy to see why when most of them have flipped flopped like a Kennedy on withdrawals. Of course people are uncomfortable with their home teams because deep down we are all awakening to the fact that the home team would like to have us shine their shoes with the spit they dribble on us. The peasants are noticing and awakening but we are a divided rabble. Make no mistake that all the things that we had supposedly put behind us will play a role in this election. I fully believe that at least a few hundred thousand Blacks will vote for Obama because He’s black. I also believe that a few hundred thousand will vote for Richardson because He’s Latino. No one should doubt that at least a few million women will vote for Hillary because she is supposedly female. And then there’s the religious. Oh have no doubt that a major part of the decision of tens of millions in this country will be because a candidate is Christian or Mormon or whatever.

Will that really get them what they want?

There are of course the two big religions in politics Repub-a-sluts and Demo-Rats. But just because your girl/guy is of your religion/race/gender doesn’t mean you get what you want. Especially if you’re SlutRat cant even be trusted for what they actually say. Just check the records of your choir boy/girl on a google search with their name followed by flip flop or lied or take your pick. Bet you won’t like what you find if you’re committed to your home team. But we still have to pick someone and even if we think that person is a Messiah we must look at them as a human and find their faults so that we can see just how much damage they can do.

I read an article (http://themoderatevoice.com/at-tmv/newsweek-blogitics/16555/are-false-rumors-about-obamas-religion-really-about-race/ ) about Obama that got me thinking. In the article there is a paragraph that says that:

I wondered, did a German newspaper automatically assume that white American men would be reluctant to vote for an African American when virtually nobody raises that possibility in the American press. Surely, people wonder if Obama is “black enough” on one hand or potentially beholden to black political interests on the other. But that’s different than opposing him simply because he’s black.

Uh how is one racism different or given a pass over another? On one end your saying that there isn’t any racism or shouldn’t be any racism because he’s black and on the other hand it’s ok if some are racist because he’s not black enough! How is one racism better than the other? And in fact let’s look at two candidates and their racist pasts to see which is better or worse or whether it even matters.

Ok let’s start with the front runner on the web Dr. No or Ron Paul:

Ron Paul had a newsletter with the following quotes:

If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be."

..."Given the inefficiencies of what DC laughingly calls the criminal justice system, I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."

"Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action."

For the record Ron Paul says he didn’t type those things and fired the guy that did. I believe him because I know of no time that he’s ever lied. When ever you see him speak you know he’s speaking truth and his consistency is second to none. But let’s just say for a moment he did type those things.

Ok none of that sounds good and nothing I think that a presidential candidate would want to run on. But do we really cast him out for that?  Is that more vile than the current politicians?  Is that enough to say no to DR. NO?

Let’s look at another Messiah:

Obama belongs to a church that if we would flip the race of the church and talk about its 12 commandments would make international news for being FANTASTICALLY RACIST:

 1. Commitment to God2. Commitment to the Black Community3. Commitment to the Black Family4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System

12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.

Ok wow.

So he that has no sin cast the first stone but that’s the thing. Can any of these candidates cast the first stone?

At least with these two candidates we can reasonably believe them. I say reasonably because lets face it … although I like Obama more than all the supposed front runners he’s just another plastic empty suit talking about change as if having a new face or a new color or gender in there is going to make REAL CHANGE.

With Ron Paul I might not agree with him on a lot but I do know one thing and one thing all can agree on is that this man speaks from the heart. At least with him we know what we’re getting and that is something real and tangible. Something rare sadly, in that he is an honest man from humble stock that just wants to take America back from an empire to a republic. In all the rush of all the people and groups to this mans defense and in some cases over look his faults there is one thing that is not spot lighted enough.

Truth!

It’s a very powerful concept. We are in the most dangerous and fragile of times with many things hanging on the balance and we are in the running to elect the most powerful person on the planet. And yet the most basic thing no one seems to care about is … can we even believe this person? Ask yourself this? If you can’t believe the person because like all the front runners they are just telling you what you want to hear then how can you trust them for anything? Let’s say Dr. No. had an evil racist moment 20 years ago or Obama belongs to a racist church is that so bad?

Is that worse than not having the foggiest idea of what your president will do because she/he said what ever it took to get the office.

So many Americans will pick or exclude a candidate for the most ridiculous of reasons. They may exclude because of one bad quote or they may pick at least in some part because of the color of skin, gender, religion or because he/she is one of their home teams … one of the SlutRats. And all those foolish enough to do so won’t even stop to ask a simple question:

 Can you really believe them?

Welcome to the Nolan Chart, Scrappy!

I couldn't help but notice that you didn't actually document your claims. It makes it much harder to take them seriously when you don't provide a way for your readers to check your sources.

Thanks Walt for your comment and I'll be sure to do a better job in the future of providing sources. By the way everything I put up can allways be backed up. I never just throw something out there. And all of this can easily be googled. But point taken and thanks for making it. Oh and dare I be politically incorrect and say ... Merry Christmas.

interesting...in your very first paragraph you leave out the the worst offense - and most often practiced! what about the millions who will vote for the white guys....because they are white guys - and for no reason other than that?. White folx do vote for one another simply because they are white believing that their best interests will be looked after, or yes, because they are not comfortable with the idea of a non-white having the power...so, now there is something for you to think about...look at the man in the mirror, dear...and address some of your own dirt ...U vote white simply b/c ...it's a white thing

And yet you miss the point of the whole article entirely. Its wrong to vote on something as flimsy as race is the point of the article. Maybe you should've read past the first paragraph. Didnt I also say that I like Obama better than all the front runners?
