New Years Message: The Rebirth of Greatness

Another dietride before the New Year

Many have said that 2008 was the year that killed the Republican Party and that a new era in American politics has emerged. An era of change, an era of a new America, and an era of peace. These are not new words. This new era first emerged in the year 1960, with a man well known in American history, none other then John F. Kennedy. Yes, a new era indeed was ushered in:

An era where Government abandoned it's Constitutional duties for a social agenda.

An era when America was drawn into a quagmire half a world away.

An era where US tax dollars were spend on poverty aboard while those at home suffered.

An era where traditional family values meant nothing to the average American, and sex & drugs dominated the human spirit.

An era where the victim was to blame, not the perpetrator.

An era when American factories first started to close.

Yes, indeed change had come. Under the over 3 years of JFK and almost 5 under LBJ, had indeed changed. A bad economy, social unrest, and unpopular war only 8 years after Eisenhower left office and before Nixon took office. I wrote this to prove a valid point:

Change does come, but it isn't always for the better.

This is a warning to those who preached change after 8 years of Bush. Remember, Bush stood for change in 2000; then at the very infancy of his administration was forfeited a fair shot at running the country his way on September 11, 2001. Change was one of the many casualties on that fateful day.

Now we have Obama as our President, preaching the change Kennedy, Johnson and even Carter promoted. The sad truth is it may not be for the better, I fear it is for the worse. It is indeed a fateful time. But, it is also a time of rebirth in the Republican Party:

Jeb Bush, perhaps one of the greatest and most popular Governors in Florida's history, is set to run for US Senate.

Many Republicans in Congress are going back to their fiscal conservative roots.

Mike Huckabee, former Governor and 2008 GOP presidential candidate, has a popular show on Fox News.

Ron Paul not only encouraged but recruited many young conservative with his 2008 presidential run.

More and more American people are becoming outraged at the anti-christian and anti-family message the left continues to spread.

Change has indeed come. But in 2 years, this change will backfire. This change has giving conservatives more vigor and will only strengthen them. Lets this be a warning to the left; you have awakened a sleeping giant, and it will crush you.

When you said "dietride" did you mean "diatribe"? You might want to fix what you wrote.
