My Final Word on an Article V Constitutional Convention (let's move on)...

If you take the time to read this I think you will find some surprises herein (especially if you have, to date, disagreed); but for starters, let's imagine that the individual States invoked an AVC in order to remove the possibility of any future AVC('s) from the Constitution because they were fearful of the consequences--how would you feel about it then?...

...I have no doubt that the Framers of our Constitution originally put the Article V clause in it (given its overall context and spirit of intent) to give the individual States a recourse of action in order to reign back a Federal government which had gained excesses in power beyond what was originally intended by the Constitution...

...this has already long since occurred. An AVC should have been called to prevent the installation of a central banking system in lieu of the Constitutional responsibility of the Congress to "issue currency and determine the value thereof"--odd, how that in times of economic duress, we are willing to forego our Liberty--and no wonder some have long ago figured this out...

...How has it occurred? It has occurred by a circumvention and compromise (of the original context and spirit of intent of the Constitution) of the "checks and balances" originally intended between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches and via an underlying theme of complicity amongst the three to accomplish such and the common denominator of this said theme of circumvention, compromise and complicity has been Globalism and a One World government...

...it has been a few decades since I read Des Griffin's The Fourth Reich of the Rich, but perhaps the one thing found within its pages that stands out the foremost in my recollection of it was the statement that the One World conspiratorialists were there even back then, at the drafting of our Constitution, and the claim was subsequently made that the seed of the Constitution's demise was sown within it from the beginning--even though it might take some long while to be of effect--perhaps it was the Article V Convention--suspiciously denied for so long but granted when it is to the advantage of the establishment of a One World government...

...there is no room within the context of Globalism and a One World government for the absolute national sovereignty and the Liberty which our Constitution affords our, just this one, nation...

...the AVC is nonetheless a legally binding part of our Constitution--used for its original intent a good thing--usurped and used to advance the designs of Global governance, not so much...

...and if we allow it to be usurped and used to advance designs for which it was not originally intended, well then, we've deservedly lost our Republic and we will reap the consequences thereof for we no longer merit the Liberty afforded by it...

...so the ball is back in our court--time to pull off a rally!?!--possible but not likely...

...I, no doubt, stand behind the AVC for its original intent; if usurped I was still there to try to do the right thing for the right reason(s); but nonetheless, if usurped by Global interests as opposed to national interests--it is still, legally, binding...

...herein you have the perfect demonstration of the difference between what is right and what is wrong and what is legal and what is illegal...

...subversive plans laid for decades, even centuries and, in reality, further past than even this--please peruse:

[link edited for length]

...as one who believes that the coming to pass of that which is prophesied in Biblical Scripture is inevitable and unavoidable--as much as I hate to see it within my own lifetime--I cannot say that I am surprised by such developments...

...these things must be (however hard and harsh they might be), before we can get on to better things, like the establishment of the Kingdom of God in Christ Jesus on this Earth...

...but I can sympathize with those who have no such Biblical context to fall back upon and who wonder, "What the heck's going on here!?!"...

I am also a Christian, but I believe God helps them who help themselves. At the end of the revolutionary war George Washington concluded there must have been divine intervention for the Americans to win. But certainly if Washington and other patriots hadn't fought the war there would have been no victory and America would still be a British colony.

In short, if we don't want to lose our constitution we have to work to keep it.

As a member of the art. 5 conv. please allow me to help remove what most people are fearing.   The art. 5 convention is a bunch of American citizens who are so fed up with the lowly rated Congress, and the entire U.S. govt.    First, we as Americans, "ARE" the govt., but somewhere we allowed it to slip out of our control.   Mainly with big business lobbyists buying off our employees votes with gratuities, and we, unaware, allowed it to flourish deeply.   The art. 5 conv. when is called, will  be  a group of U.S. citizens , meeting to discuss what we want changed in the way the constitution is "DECIPHERED".  All judges from the bottom courts up to the supreme  court have different ideas on what the constitution says. It is disgraceful how all of these judges rule on law, by their own interpretations. Now many of you seem to think we want to re-write the constitution, wrong.....we very simply want it to be more to our liking as citizens, and not left up to judges, who for your info, CAN be bought off also.   we bring up our suggestions, each party,we dicuss reasoning  and  then the suggestions are voted on. Then after it leaves our hands, it must be ratifyed by the state legislators. I sure hope this takes away the fears some are having.

A brief comment. Michael's concerns about a convention being taken over is always a risk in an democratic form of government. If, as has been said, people are not vigilant to those who would attempt to use such a democratic event to their advantage, then they probably get what they deserve.

A convention is probably the most safe method of change possible. By itself, it has no power to do anything but propose. It requires a completely seperate system of government to ratify meaning the work is cut twice by those attempting to overthrow or usurp it. Remember this system was made by men quite accustomed to seeing such things happened and determined to make sure it didn't happen in their design of a government.

Public record shows clearly that at least two different methods to replace the current convention system have been proposed by the states. Thus, it will be an issue of amendment at a convention.

Finally, remember--it is because Congress has refused to obey the Constitution that we have all these issues. If you want to blame anyone in all of this, blame them.
