I think you prediction is a tad off.  It seems you've used avoirdupois ounces (28.375 grams per Ounce) in you calculations rather than Troy ounces (31.1034768 grams per Ounce).

Precious metals, gems and gunpowder are generally measured in Troy ounces.

Good thing you didn't use Tower ounces instead of avoirdupois because then your calculations would have been off in the other direction.
