It's the last hour of the Tea Party, how much tea will Ron Paul supporters dump in the war chest? by BJSchaefer

It is down to the last hour of the fundraising drive. While he's shattered records already, donations after being slow for the last 2 hours have begun to pick up steam again. Money is pouring in at a very fast rate. Just in the time it took me to log into this site and type this much he jumped $20,000. That's big. How far can this go, what will the news channels be talking about tomorrow morning, besides the Federal Reserves secret money auction, and what will the pundits say? These are all questions we're going to have to wait to have answered. But what is sure right now is that if Ron Paul tops $20,000,000 this quarter, it cement him right in place with Clinton and Obama as far as scale and finally prove his electability.
Now, besides this huge central war-chest that Ron Paul now has to fight with, he has one extra tool that noone else has; a true 50 state campaign. Because of average people in a grassroots effort campaigning their local towns and neighborhoods, whatever he raises is only the tip of the spear that Ron Paul wields. While every other candidate must use these large sums of money to hire people to do what we do, Ron Paul has us doing that for him. That allows him to run a wider campaign than any other candidate can muster, even if Oprah supports them. Oprah isn't knocking on doors, we are. Oprah can only give $2,500 just like us.
To put things into perspective; Mike Huckabee's December fundraising goal was $1.5M. This is the same man who has the President of the Council of Foreign Relations as one of his advisors. He, like so many others that have whitnessed what we've done, is trying to mimic our success with a top down approach asking people to donate on Christmas day. Let's not even give him the satisfaction of having the media pay attention to his "me too" tactics. I call every Ron Paul supporter to give $5 on Christmas day. With our large numbers, even that little will surpass what Huckabee can pull off.
One year from now, we will be able to say We Are Legends. Lets make our future children and grandchildren proud in this coming year.
