I have a big problem. I need a new pair of running shoes ASAP. by Jake Towne, the Champion of the Constitution

I run a lot, and I have a big problem. I checked the bottom of my New Balances last week and found a good amount of the sole worn away, and the foam is quickly eroding. It's kinda weird since I just bought them in August, but come to think of it, I have been running like a LOT recently.
But I do not want to pay the insane prices here in China for a quality replacement pair. (It's 490 freaking Chinese yuan!! I checked on my run this morning). And I don't want to pay for them with my own money. Every time I check the news, some random American company or bank is getting bailed out by the government. Why doesn't someone bail me out?
Then I read this French guy, Freddie Bastille or something, who wrote:
"See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime."
Well, the US government thinks it's cool to take my tax money and give it to Wall Street, automakers, GE, insurance companies, and perhaps a hundred foreign countries. And to pay them, they are also printing money like crazy, which is just a real sneaky way to steal from my wallet without my having to open it. So it should be cool to just ask you, Reader, to give me some money. I can print out the article and show it to the lady at the shoestore. My Chinese is pretty decent, and after all, isn't her whole country giving us the goods from their factories while they return with our paper money? Real chumps! This should be a piece of cake!
Please leave in the comments field below HOWEVER much money you feel like giving to me for my new shoes. You can donate whatever you feel like but be sure to specify "CHINESE YUAN." Otherwise I can't use it here in China. All I need is 490 freaking Chinese Yuan! You have my word I won't buy new shoes until I have the money!
END THE FED! Protest to take place on Saturday, 11/22/08 Published: November 16, 2008 "Scenes are now to take place as will open the eyes of credulity and of insanity itself, to the dangers of a paper medium abandoned to the discretion of avarice and of swindlers." -Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Cooper, 1814
I'll be at the Chicago demonstration!

I will give you 1 Zimbawean dollar before the recent re-evaluation + 1 Dutch Mark after WW II + 1 U.S. Dollar Option certificate to be redeem at the end of 2009 when the hyper-inflation kicks in.
And I will also give you 1 trd dollars only usefull for goods and services from trd.
By my calculation, that's only about $72. That seems like a reasonable price. It's not that the price is too high, it's just that you want the shoes to be paid for by someone else, is that it?
Although isn't this the old adage that "if you GIVE a man some running shoes, he'll be able to run for another 3 months; if you teach a man to MAKE some running shoes, he'll be able to provide them for a lifetime"?
Either that, or maybe you should learn to run barefoot like the Kenyans. Or, choose a better route to run. You seem to be continuously running in the back alleys and the untraveled roads a little too much. Try sticking to the more traditional routes and you might find the running's easier.
Neat about being in China. I work in the shoe business and go over from time to time on inspections. Tell you what, if you give me you social security number, the name of your bank and the account number, and a major credit card number I will transfer the yuan into your account this afternoon EST. Don't respond on this forum, though. I wouldn't want anyone to get your private information.
I know a friend in Nigeria who could get you 70 million Chinese Yuan from an unclaimed oil company inheritance if you give him the information that BallstotheWall is requesting from you. You only need to give him about 70,000 Chinese Yuan first for the initial transations and then he will wire you the remaining money.
