Ron Paul Excluded from Bill O'Reilly Poll

For some, this may not be news--just confirmation of the sad reality of a major newscaster.

I was actually researching something else tonight and saw a presidential poll come across the screen at http://billoreilly.com/.

Here's what it says:

THE O'REILLY POLL

At this point in the campaign, which Republican candidate do you prefer?
  • Giuliani
  • Huckabee
  • Romney
  • McCain

And then you have the [Submit] button.

There is no Ron Paul, Fred Thompson, Tom Tancredo, Duncan Hunter, Alan Keyes, or John Cox.  Just those four you see.  As far as I know the only candidate from the debates who has dropped out officially is Sam Brownback.  There are more than four candidates on many ballots.  This race is far from over.

The question may have been incorrectly worded.  Most polls have these four candidates as highest rated, at one time or another.  I prefer someone other than those listed.

When I showed this to my wife, who is a regular Democratic Party voter, she had a different reaction. She asked, "Where is None Of The Above?"

If your candidate is not here, feel free to opine to Mr. Fair and Balanced at oreilly@foxnews.com.  Make sure you keep it pithy, not rude.

I sent them a polite message asking why all the candidates weren't listed! :)  No wonder why some of the candidates are polling so low...they aren't even listed!!  A poll is a poll...they target different people, ask different questions, and have different choices.

Fear not. The harder msm trys to silence truth, democracy, and freedom, the more it backfires. It used to be that only Ron Paul supporters noticed this, but now, some of our harshest critics on the net are noticing. Human nature wants what's forbidden, and if knowledge about Ron Paul is forbidden, and it's noticably forbidden, it's going to motivate others to find out about him. We'll put the knowledge out there, and let the American Public decide. As for Bill, don't worry. If Ron Paul wins, and the world doesn't come to a crashing halt, Bill and his ilk are gonna look pretty stupid. The more supporters Ron Paul gets without the msm, the more obsolete it makes the msm look.

O'Reilly and other faux news commentators have built their audiences, sold their books and "gear" on the premise that pro-war = patriotism. For me, it was Ron Paul who startled me into the realization that that premise is untrue. I refuse to visit his website, much less place any communication there to be ridiculed so as to impress his audience. My feeling is that if we ignore them they may fade into bankruptsy.

Fox is cutting it's own throat and does not have brains enough to see it. Up until 3 months ago, I would watch them and now I can't even stand to hear the voices of Hannity or Orielly. They've proven themselves to be news mis-informers, sophmoric, coniving, egotistical, un-reliable, without common sense, dis-respectful, intelligence insulting and phony (just to name a few). Just like the Republican party, they have completely lost their way. And while I'm on a rant here, ditto for Rush Limbaugh.

Very funny. They didn't want to include Paul so they had to leave out Thomspon as well.

O'Reilly will soon announce, "Paul is now down to 0% in our most recent poll, so I guess that it's for Ron Paul. He's done."

A miscalculation on Mr. O'Reilly part. We're not done. We're not done at all.

FOX is for those who choose to let others do their thinking, those who like being led, and those who are not capable of facing reality. Watching O'reilly is a good way to study the art of manipulation via propaganda. The "personalities" presenting "information" on FOX and other televised media are something other than human, something incapable of caring about truth and other moral indicators that make us human.

Beating all expectations, as of midnight EST, December 15, the Ron Paul campaign raised nearly $12 million during its “Boston Tea Party” fund raiser organized by Trevor Lyman. Remarkably, in a 20 minute period earlier plavix this evening, donations exceeded $250,000, a truly astronomical achievement for a candidate the corporate media consistently ranks as “second tier” and hardly worthy of mention. At the present rate, it is entirely possible the Ron Paul campaign will raise over $20 million by the end of the quarter ending on December 31.“Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul has a very good shot at topping 20 million for the quarter. In fact it could happen by the weekend,” he wrote for USA Daily on December 13. “Paul prilosec may raise between 8-10 million dollars this Sunday making it by far the largest single fund raising day in presidential history. Ron Paul has already raised 11.4 million dollars this quarter.” In fact, as of Saturday, he has surpassed this predicted milestone.“Considering that Hillary Clinton raised about 22 million in the third quarter Sunday should make it painfully obvious how good Paul’s odds are of winning the GOP nomination.”“While the bookmakers say it is odds on that Ron Paul will break his own record for online donations in one day, the extremely short odds they give yasmin on the $10 million barrier being broken are very encouraging for the campaign,” he wrote on December 13. “Betting odds on how much money Ron Paul’s campaign will raise in one day this Sunday suggest that bookies believe the Congressman could easily break the $10 million mark and stun his constant detractors by raising close to $20 million in the fourth quarter.
