I write a brief reply to an Obama fan who compared the Barackcuda with "The Matrix"'s Neo by Jake Towne, the Champion of the Constitution

To fellow Revolutionaries, or better yet, those who are going to vote Barack Obama for President in 12 days-
A close friend and mentor of mine, recently sent me an euphoric email about what a great POTUS Senator Barack Obama will make. Being a little lazy, I more or less replied by listing my articles. As for my friend, there is hope, we voted for the same Congressman from Texas in the Republican primary. However, it is NOT the "Audacity of Hope," nor is it the hope from Bill Clinton's favorite little town of Hope, Arkansas, which he talked about even as he bombed Yugoslavia and sent Black Hawks into Mogadishu. It is the Hope that this Revolution will succeed. And don't worry, Obama's winning has been already been planned for, see the last link... there are some real gems near the end from a fellow Nolan Chart columnist who is an inspiration to me.
If anyone else has an excellent source anywhere on the net that is just the most eye-opening piece on Obama they have ever read, whether in favor or against, please feel free to share at the bottom. What is a little humorous is that I too picked up a copy of Barack's bestseller at an airport in my pre-Revolution days. I remember thinking as I read it "Boy, now THAT'S power hungry!" and left it in the shop.
Wouldn't it be funny if someone compiled all the articles for and against McBama at this site? With all the dialogue in both directions for the past year, it's been quite a ride. Almost time to choose the next Emperor Amerikanus...
"Neo, I truely believe HE is the ONE" - from "the matrix"
Now, from: [Anytown], USA, Earth
One day about 18 months ago I was setting in Hawaii alone and waiting for [a friend] to arrive - - so I decided to spend some time in a book store. For some reason I picked up a book authored by Barack Obama (THE AUDACITY OF HOPE) and read his views on life and how to govern the USA in a fair and just fashion. It was that day that I started to believe that
"Barack is the ONE"
Now, more than ever I believe that Barack is the person who can transform the USA and possibly the world !!
Dear [my friend] - Thanks for having the big cahunas to cc me on this... I completely respect your vote for Obama, but you are in the minority, ~16% of all American at voting age actually want him to be president. You can respond to any one of these articles in the comment area at the bottom explaining how and why I am wrong.
Unfortunately though, I already voted for a third party candidate.
As far as Change, let's see what happens to America in 4 years, but I am sure Obama will change Pakistan and Afghanistan! His foreign policy advisor just reanimated from the dead to run another war in Afghanistan!
Police State Stomps on Iraq Veteran's Face as McBama Sanctions Attack on Freedom of Speech: The Story of the Hempstead 15 (Part 1/2) Published: October 25, 2008 What? Yet another event the media completely missed? After multiple attempts to engage McBama to answer their questions, the Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) led a peaceful march on the last McCain-Obama Presidential Debate and were met with 30 mounted police and a horde of others in riot gear. The mounted police stamped on an Iraq war veteran's face and attacked the crowd. Ron Paul supporter and veteran Adam Kokesh was arrested as well.
An Anti-Ron Paul Deflationary Economic Theory Published: October 21, 2008 Can you prove me wrong? A simple idea about how the bailout could lead to a deflationary, rather than inflationary environment, proving Ron Paul dead wrong.
