Dear Mr. Wurzelbacher:
If anyone, you are the unacknowledged hero of the 2008 election. I'm sorry that my fellow journalists have ganged up on you for speaking plain English and identifying socialism for what it is: a tax plan that redistributes income.
McCain, however, is just as guilty as Obama – both advocate different forms of income redistribution. McCain thinks the business of America is propping up bloated corporations that are rightly about to topple. Obama thinks America is all about the greatest good for the greatest number, or making those who can and will work support those who can't or won't work.
Both are wrong. Only the Libertarian Party gets it right: The fruits of your labor belong to you, the person who did the work.
But Libertarians often have difficulty expressing simple concepts simply: Tax plans that take my money and give it to someone else are not fair.
That's where you came in, Joe. You got on national TV and stated the simple truth, that it's not fair to tax people at higher rates just because they work harder or create jobs.
Obama says he'll make it easier on people like you and me by increasing taxes on rich people, but he fails to realize that it takes rich people to create jobs like yours and mine.
McCain thinks he'll float your economic boat by boosting fat cats and prolonging war, but he achieves those results only by unfairly taxing the middle and lower classes that can't afford his misplaced desires.
Joe, have you heard about the Libertarian Party, represented this year by former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr? Only Libertarians advocate taking an axe to America's "progressive" tax system that endlessly redistributes income from the poor to the rich, then from the rich to the poor, and then from the middle to both ends.
We say America should either abolish the income tax or adopt a flat, fair tax. We want to end McCain's One Hundred Years of War now. We want you to be able to keep the guns that protect your family and business. We think borders should be secure but not an excuse for institutionalized racism or restricting consensual commerce.

 A very good article. It's time the Govmt learns that they work for us. We hired them by electing them. Its just a shame it takes so long to fire them, unlike if we get fired its imediate.
