The abuse by anti-religious extremists of free speech and press will lead to the extinguishing of those freedoms. by Jonathon Barbera

As the author of seven books, I rely heavily on the internet to advertise and sell those books. I was rather disappointed to discover recently that a person hiding his true identity had put up a web site defaming me as a pedophile. Additionally, my photo and house address were given.
I have no criminal record. How can lies about me be justified on a web site? The only justification from the web site's unknown owner is that I am a Scientologist, so I somehow deserve to be defamed in this way.
Why are Scientologists fair game? This is a clear-cut case of anti-religious hatred gone too far.
As a Libertarian-minded individual, I support and even celebrate free speech and press as guaranteed by the First Amendment (in the United States). However, slander and libel fall outside of free speech and press. In fact, it is the abuse of these freedoms that will assuredly lead to further restrictions. Like always, it takes a few bad people to ruin it for everyone.
You may or may not agree with Scientology. Freedom of religion protects the rights of individuals such as myself who do study Scientology. That is my right. If someone from another religon disagrees with a particular tenet of Scientology, that is his or her right as well. But no one has the right to defame by slander and libel people of another religion.
Some anti-Scientologist extremists previously informed me that they weren't protesting the religion of Scientology as much they were protesting specific policies of the Church of Scientology. This has been proven repeatedly false. After all, I haven't been in the Church of Scientology for 15 years, so why would I be targeted at all?
These same anti-Scientologist extremists organize boycotts of movies and television shows featuring Scientologist actors. If they were boycotting them just because an actor was Catholic or Jewish, the media would be outraged by the obvious prejudice. However, if the actor is a Scientologist, the media remains silent. This is a peculiar double standard that demonstrates that "freedom of religion" only applies to the majority -- even though it was this freedom that once protected the minority.
This youtube video specifically names Scientologists while demanding that others boycott them (for their religion alone): [link edited for length]

This type of abuse is nothing new and the hate-group "Anonymous" believes that their message of hate will provide them with entertainment or "lulz". Member of Anonymous are people with personal issues, cyber bullies with no other outlet and you should pitty these people.
This article is a great example of how Scientology tries to avoid answering questions about its crimes and abuses by attacking anyone who criticizes them.
So if you ask a Scientologist about Scientology's policy of "fair game": viciously harassing and intimidating its critics and ex-members, mafia style, using private investigators and frivolous lawsuits, and anonymous death threats, and running people off the road, etc. they will try to make you think instead that "fair game" is something critics do, by writing essays like the one above.
Notice how desperately Scientology's secret police, known as OSA, repeat the same old tired lies about their critics over and over, Goebbels style. Hubbard ripped that idea straight from the Nazis sorry to say. For an extensively documented list of such "big lies" see http://www.scientology-lies.com/liesindex.html
As for the author's claim of being a writer, all you need to do to find out the truth about that is to see Amazon.com or Google. Always do your own research, and pity the Scientologists they are the biggest victims here.

That sucks that your address got posted. It also sucks if they called you a pedophile if it's not true. But now you know how ex-Scientologists and Annonymous members feel when they are fair-gamed. Maybe you should publish stories about that because right now it's thousands to one of fair-game offenses committed by Scientology compared to Annonymous.
I can`t find a definition for fairgame in my english dictionary.
Could you tell me where I might find the definition of it as you are using it ?
I need the specific reference and the title of publication where this word is defined as you are using it.
Oh.... Hang on a minute I found it on line. It`s a word invented by Hubbard for attacking people . This is scientology tech. WTF are you as a scientologist complaining about ? If you don`t like the tech you need to complain to the cult.
Fireman Said "When your on the way to the fire, don't worry about the yapping dogs".
PSYCHIATRIC DIAGNOSIS MANUFACTURING MADNESS
[link edited for length] Webster's [dictionary] defines fiction as "anything made up or imagined. "Anyone reviewing psychiatry's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) and the mental health section of' the International Classification of Diseases (ICD: tenth version) would find it difficult to place it in, any other category. They are literally psychiatry's "bible" of invented mental illnesses. Of course, psychiatry will protest that they do not invent the behaviors defined. And this is true the behaviors are often observable. However psychiatry's unscientific and arbitrary bundling together of behaviors and emotions under the fraudulent tag of "mental illness" is pure fabrication - calculated to further the myth of mental illness and precipitate a Mental Health State.

If you want to practice your spiritual beliefs, you should join the free zone and stop giving your money to the crime syndicate known as the "Church" of Scientology.
Jonathan B. is a well known soul-to-sale of the scientology infamous cult, the one which pretends to give you total freedom, while inside, your freedom is limited to get your credit card off your pocket and sign for some more "services" that have been riules time after time as being fraudulous, since the issue of "Dianetics" by sci-fi writer Hubbard, who was between other convictions, convicted to 4 years jail in Paris 1978, for fraud totally related to his scientology "promises". There is therefore not the least sense to agree that striggling such a group is limiting the "religious freedom", since the only thing we limit re scientology, is the right of human people to defraud others.

i think the scientologist should really stop using the word "hate" on everyone that seems to be against them. i mean they called CAN (cult awareness network) a hate group before they took it over
But yeah, baaaw away. Didn't see you complaining about your church doing it. Has anyone showed up at your house at five am with signs and flyers accusing you of terrorism?
No, wait, that's scientologists doing that, my bad.
Funny, too, how they've done this shit for fifty years, and even went to court to demand their "right" to do it as a religious practice. But look what happens when the shoe is on the other foot...
Jonathon spends his time making outlandish, slanderous attacks on people. He's also got a little blog where he tries to publish the names of anons; fortunately he's not very good at it. Karma's a bitch, Jonathon.
Funny how Scientologists LOVE to toss the word "hate group" (for groups) and "hate mongering" (for individuals) around. Fail tech is fail. Anonymous doesn't hate anybody. It is impossible to drill into Scientologists' brains that Anonymous (AND EVERY OTHER CRITIC OUT THERE!!!) has nothing against the beliefs of Scientologists, but the ORGANIZATION. Get it, scilons? ORGANIZATION, LEADERS, PEOPLE WHO RUN THE CHURCH. Get it through your thick heads and snap out of it!

Wow! I agree compleatly!
You first! I bring your attention to Scientology’s many defamation web pages Reigious Freedom Watch http://www.religiousfreedomwatch.org/ is but one example. First published anonymously in July of 2001 it has been in continual operation since then .Looks to me that the Anons who are turning tables on you folks are the apt pupils of YOUR example.
The protestors wear masks because of scientology's track record of harassing their critics. Look up "Fair Game" on wikipedia, or even read through some of the comments on this very article.
Paulette Cooper was a young journalist who wrote a book (one of the first critical books) about scientology. After the cult had her book recalled by threatening legal action against her publisher, they infiltrated her life (actually planting a person to earn her trust), stole stationary with her fingerprints on it, typed a bomb threat onto said stationary, and then called in the threat. It was only when, years later, the cult was raided by the government (look up "Operation Snow White") in the 80's that documents were discovered that detailed a plot to destroy Paulette by having her imprisoned or committed to ruin her integrity. This "Church" had systematically tried to destroy this woman's life. They called it "Operation Freakout". Look that up too.
The organization that calls itself the "Church" of scientology is criminal. It is a threat to our way of life, and a threat to democracy.
Scientology's Hubbard Communications Office Policy Letter dated Aug 15 1960 re: the Department of Government Affairs (a division within the "Church"). This policy letter was written by L. Ron Hubbard, the creator of scientology (yes, the sci-fi writer). Scientologists believe everything written by him to be "source", and that it must be followed to the letter. Changing of "source" is considered one of the highest crimes within the cult.
Quote:
The goal of the Department [of Government Affairs] is to bring the government and hostile philosophies or societies into a state of complete compliance with the goals of Scientology. This is done by high level ability to control and in its absence by low level ability to overwhelm. Introvert such agencies. Control such agencies. Scientology is the only game on Earth where everybody wins. There is no overt in bringing good order.

What did your L.Ron Hubbard say? Was it, "find or MANUFACTURE enough threat against them to cause them to sue for peace". Your unknown defamer is using 100% STANDARD TECH right out of the scientology handbook. I don\'t advocate it myself; I think I can do better than your cult in working with people. But I do have trouble mustering up much sympathy when someone is fighting fire with fire. Just as well-- Hubbard said "sympathy" is low tone.
"Criminals wear masks and hoods and hide their identities, for example the ku klux klan. I'm a son of the south. I remember them.
If annonymous thinks Scientology commits crimes, why don't you make a complaint to authorities? Fill out a police report.
Or would that mean you'd have to identify yourself?"
What do you think many of us HAVE been doing? When Scientology has private investigators send cease and desist letters to protesters' homes (which, by the way, carry no weight whatsoever and is meant to intimidate them out of protesting), we report it to the FBI. When a bomb threat is issued on youtube, we report it to youtube AND the FBI, and when this same bomb threat video is of a higher quality on a distributed DVD entitled "Anonymous Hate Crimes", we report it to the FBI. When a Scientologist comes out of an org and rips our protest signs, we report it to the police.
Lastly, when it is blatantly obvious that Scientology abuses the legal system and cannot report it to the authorities, we post it on youtube so the whole world can see what a corrupt organization they really are, and confirm our reasons for protesting. We wear masks because it is the only effective way we can speak out without fear of retribution from the church.
There's nothing illegal about posting flyers filled with lies in one's neighborhood, or calling one's employer, or holding up a sign in front of a masked protester with that person's photograph, name, address, and phone number. By the letter of the law, these are not legal, but by the spirit of the law it is obvious something is not right about doing this. This is why we wear masks, dig?
"Criminals wear masks and hoods and hide their identities"
So do superheroes, Dan. Anyone that has a good reason not to be identified will hide their identity.
How is it so different that you are hiding behind an online handle? Difference between you and I is that I have a very good reason to be anonymous- you may just be one of those criminals you're talking about.
if you understood why CAN was started in the first place, then you would see why it was not a hate group. but what is your thought on the FACT Scientology did nothing but attack them and then took it over?
But annonymous, in the preceeding comments, you appeared to do just about everything that you accuse Scientologists of doing-slander, libel, defamation, harassment.
Can you not stand to be criticized?
Also, I don't know of any real life superheroes who wear masks, only bank robbers and the klan.
Also, if you reported alledged Scientology crimes to the FBI and nothing happened. What does that tell us?
"But annonymous, in the preceeding comments, you appeared to do just about everything that you accuse Scientologists of doing-slander, libel, defamation, harassment."
No...the definition of any of those requires the accusations to be untrue. The accusations against Scientology, at least in the above comments, are 100% true. Scientologists have been convicted of fraud, extortion, harassment, kidnapping, and worse in service to their organization. Scientology is banned in Germany and on its way to a ban in France for being an organized criminal group. Scientologists were convicted in the single largest infiltration of the government in US history.
Scientologists have been caught in the act of stalking, assaulting, and harassing critics for fifty-some years, including dozens of documented cases this year. They went to court and demanded the "right" to do so as a religious precept.
You can deny it all you like- photos, videos, and convictions speak for the truth when Scientologists won't.
scientologists do harass people, i've had people come to my place handing me a letter and insulting me. scientologists have gone around my neighborhood and put flyers on peoples mail boxes bagging on me. and during one protest a scientologists made a failed attempt to attack me, lets see what any scientologists have to say about that... speak up now.

I am an ex member of the organisation that calls itself the church of scientology of 27 years, 1977 - 2003. I still practice scientology tech but with the Freezone. http://internationalfreezone.net/
I left the organisation that calls itself the church of scientology because I had a cognition that the scientology tech was being abused by the leaders to their own ends and that by doing so made the organisation a danger to society as a whole.
In one of the Philadelphia Doctorate course lectures by L Ron Hubbard he tells us that without applying the remedy to scientology it was possible for scientology to create a society that would make George Orwell's vision of society in the book "1984" "pale by comparison". This lecture was squirrelled to remove this warning and the only reason to do this would be if the person responsible didn't want people to hear the warning LRH gave about what could happen if scientology was abused.
I now stand side by side with Anonymous and other campaigners who support them. Far from being a hate group I have never met a more diverse group of people: christians, wiccans, muslim, goths and athiests to name but a few believes I have come across since I started protesting with them.
All the protestors, Anonymous or otherwise have made me welcome and accepted me for who I am and what I believe. All I have ever heard them say about people who are still members of the organisation is that most of them are just misguided. What ever they do they do to try to open the eyes of the misguided.
Scientology tech has helped me a lot, but the organisation calling itself the church of scientology, as it is now, does more harm and has the potential to do far greater harm under the leadership of David Miscavige. It has no place in this world any more.
As to religious freedom, the church of scientology makes every effort to prevent people in the Freezone getting access to source. LRH said Scientology Tech should be free, that no one should have a monopoly on it, yet the church of scientology practices the opposite.
LRH also said criminals always accuse others of the crimes they commit, so here we have a member of the organisation accusing Anonymous and the other protestors of being guilty of religious hate crimes and making the church of scientology fair game.
Please do not include $cientology with Catholicism. I don\'t pay $2000 or more per "course" at my catholic Church. If I leave my parish, I will not be declared an SP. If I came back a week later and told my pastor I thought catholic teaching was a bunch of crap, he would embrace me, respect my point of view, and probably invite me to dinner with a smile and no condemnation. He would not send agents out to investigate and slander me, nor would my friends in the church shun me as an "SP." I have never had to sit alone in a room for hours with one person staring at me, not blinking, and be mind controlled. We have actual worship services with music, readings, and cognitive-based instruction (vs. the subliminal of scientology). Going to a Catholic church is FREE. Every religion has its quirks and deficiencies, but there is a consensus among mental health professionals as to what constitutes a cult and what constitutes brainwashing. I note that Scientology is among those lists of "cults" that use actual brainwashing techniques and scam people for money.
Regarding this nonsense from scientology's war on the mental health profession; mental health problems are verifiable empiricaly by various tests, and there are thousands of valid SCIENTIFIC studies which back this up. I note that not ONE scientific study has ever been presented to verify the claims of scientology.
Scientific studies of depression, adhd, schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses have included items such as MRI brain scans, neurotransmitter levels such a dopamine, and are easily accessed on the web these days. Many of these studies show the positive effects of medication on brain function and quality of life. They also show empirically that chemical imbalances do cause brain and behavioral problems.
The absurdity of scientology is that their anti-psychiatry campaign was founded by Hubbard when there was no internet and no wide public access to information. When they make claims like those above that psychiatry or other mental health science is invalid, they just make themselves look like brainwashed morons.
Want proof? do a google search for "study dopamine depression" and you will find links to countless SCIENTIFIC studies on the matter.
Scientology is a cult. It is a profound irony that "Scien" is part of their name. There is nothing scientific about what they do. If it were scientific, they would share their findings openly, without cost.

xenusiamese, yeah also Catholics pay for their stuff via real donations. They pass around a collection plate during services. You can put in a little or a lot or even nothing if you want. Like that song "Signs" you can even put just a note saying "Thank you Lord for thinking about me, I'm alive and doing fine." scientology puts up a list of "donations" the are REQUIRED to pay for the services. That is not a donation... that is a FEE.
The premise that anonymous seems to be working on is that "if some Scientologist, somewhere, at some time, did something wrong, then that gives them total and complete license to harass any Scientologists any where, at any time, in any way that they want.
You harrass Katie Holmes. Did she attack you?
Anonymous has proven the point of the article, above.
Also, Scientology is not banned in Germany. It is under investigation.
Also, if your allegations are "100%", true then take off the masks and file a police report.
That is really unfair, Barbra. That is very unfair. When an idiot gets on a motorcycle and weaves at 90 mph through traffic, he is putting everyone at risk. When Anonies (or anyones), do at was done to Palin and as was done to you, it puts everyone at risk. Because as sure as God made little green apples, more laws and restrictions will come down the pike. The technology already exists to identify every computer in hardware with a unique hardware ID. That is not yet implemented, but if could be. Then every computer built and every post on the internet would carry ID with it. My hope is that people will stop themselves before they reduce internet freedom for all of us.
Dan, the reports HAVE been filed. But raising public awareness of the wrongs are also necessary. Sometimes the people themselves have to stand up to wrong in this world, and that is what we are doing. In the United States at least, we ARE The government. For and by the people. And the people don't like cults telling them what ot do very much. We don't like attacks on our doctors. We don't like attacks on our children. We don't like unfair agreements with the IRS that gives Scientology tax privliges that no other religous group gets. We don't like stress tests that are baloney. We don't like thugs who attack people who ask questions that Scientology doesn't like asked. We don't like having our streets in our cities renamed after a liar and a pedophile and a scam artist. We don't like seeing old ladies refused access to their homes because you don't like protests. We the people are on to you Dan. We know what Scientology really is and we will let the world know that we don't let the evil inside continue because of our silence. The masks are to protect not just us but our families. Scientology targets not just critics but their families as well. Scientology is a crime syncidate and we are fed up with crime syndicates. This is why we protest.
A couple of commenters seem to be under the incorrect assumption that I maintain a blog attacking Anonymous. This is not true. I do not have any association with those blogs. Additionally, I am not Tom Newton. These are lies being spread about me on the defamation site as given in the article.
Unless you are Katie Holmes, you don't know if she was harassed. It's called legally protesting a criminal organization. The Anonymous that came out there supported her by trying to save her from this criminal cult.
"Also, if your allegations are "100%", true then take off the masks and file a police report."
And how does being masked change the filed police reports anyway? In fact, people HAVE been filing police reports unmasked (what police officer would not let you?!), specifically those who have been terrorized by the Church of Scientology.
Imagine a "Church" so dangerous, they have deceived members (such as dan) to defend their criminal activities. Such is the Church of Scientology; it's corrupt practices must end so that Scientologists can be free. Free from the blackmail of confidential PC folders, free from the expensive auditing costs, free from reading any material they like, and most importantly, free to talk to their friends and family again.
If at any time you find yourself unable to respond to this question, simply don't enter the premises wherewithin you might be asked this question, which is obviously stuffed, ripe, full, of hidden innuendoes, double meanings, desultary implications and leading, mind-controlling hyper-emotions. Hahahahaha.
I don't know what the web site says or what your history is, but from the way you describe it, I think you're getting a taste of Scientology's own medicine. I agree... it is a despicable tactic and one of the reasons I detest Scientology. Don't try to tell me they don't do it... I've seen their "dead agent" packets. Despicable, indeed.
Pathetic comments! I can always tell the $cilons comments! I do not feel the Study Tech or playdoh models are helping much. By the way, we don't want to stop you from practicing what you say is a religion, we just want you to stop the beatings and release all the hostages.
Religion is free, $cientology is not. Disconnection is the norm. What the hell kind of religion is this?
Hey Anonies, except for your mis-evaluations of data, and their subsequent over-generalizations, would you have anything at all to moan about?
Disconnection is rare, you've no idea how rare because you refuse any information about how many Scientologists there are while lending sympathetic ear to the handful (you're going to say 100s) who failed to understand the technology.
Thought is free, have a good time with that. The religious information, is pretty available, including basic books in libraries, and even online presentations. Still, I understand perfectly, you want 35 millions words, costing hundreds of production dollars to be yours to criticize Well, that isn't how it works, you got to understand it, to get it.
Hey Anonies, except for your mis-evaluations of data, and their subsequent over-generalizations, would you have anything at all to moan about?
Hey terryeo, except for your selective perception, ignorance of evidence and complete failure to understand the difference between Hubbard's books and the actual reality, would you have anything more to add to the disconnection discussion?
Disconnection is rare, you've no idea how rare because you refuse any information about how many Scientologists there are..
Not more than 100.000 active Scientologists. Maybe we would have an even better idea how frequent disconnection really is, if publicly talking about negative aspects of Scientology wouldn't be a reason to get declared SP, which in effect leads to even more disconnection.
while lending sympathetic ear to the handful (you're going to say 100s) who failed to understand the technology.
No, actually i don't lend a sympathetic ear to David Miscavige.
Thought is free, have a good time with that.
Yep speech, information and religion is also free. I am having a good time with that, thanks.
The religious information, is pretty available, including basic books in libraries, and even online presentations.
Sure, no doubt about that, since the OT documents leaked and the church attorneys finally seem to have abandoned their now impossible quest to censor every mention of Xenu on the internet.
Still, I understand perfectly, you want 35 millions words, costing hundreds of production dollars to be yours to criticize
Yes. Each SINGLE word please lol. Why not just measure the quantity of text in characters? Then you could say something even more impressive like "L. Ron Hubbard wrote 350 million characters, which are freely available in all libraries around the world!". Much like "141 million malicious hits against church websites" and similar deceptive nonsense fabricated by the Co$.
Anyway, once again you deliberately missed the point. How much do you have to spent for auditing and courses to finally get to the point where you become OT3 just to hear that the evil galactic overlord Xenu is the reason for all your mental problems? About 200 000 dollar.
And why can't you have a look at OT3 in advance, just to see if it is what you want and if it really can cure your epilepsy?
a) "To steep a gradient, it could spoil your learning efforts"? No reason to make it a top secret. Anyone should be able to decide for themselves if he wants to spoil his learning efforts or not. After all you able to handle the gradients with the 350 million other characters, that Hubbard wrote, yourself, so why not with the OT levels too?
b)"Because the OT3 Xenu story just sounds so ridiculous that no one would want to join Scientology anymore, especially no celebs and then the whole scam wouldn't work"? Sounds more plausible to me.
c)"Because L.Ron Hubbard said you could get pneumonia when you hear OT3 before you are ready"? Also possible. But then you should at least admit, that this is the reason and not deny your true beliefs, because then it would look like a scam again. Well, that isn't how it works, you got to understand it, to get it.
Nope. First you have to get it, then you read it, then you understand it. Ok? Am i an elephant?
I think we're broken Terry. He is sounding like a broken record of late. All he can do is spit out the same bald faced lies over and over. You see the official Scientology statements have said there is no disconnection. Yet Terry is admitting it exists. It doesn't matter if it's rare (and evidence points to the contrary), it is still wrong. Scientology has no business telling people who they can associate with, even if they are members.
Also, we don't need the works to be released free anymore. Thanks to the power of the internet, we can get them all. Wikileaks has the lot of it, as does the Bay and dozens of other places. I could print it out and wallpaper my house with it if I wanted to. Scientology is trying to stop this, but they cannot. The internet is the pinnicale of free speech. It is the great uniter that will bring the world together. We can talk to anyone anywhere at any time, even to people who live in nations that are goverment might consider enemies. People can trade ideas and culture at a rate that was never before possible. I go into all this because I want to underscore how important the internet is to the evolution of humanity. Scientology is trying to drag us back, hold us down by censoring freedome of speech and thought. But the internet and the people behind it, each and every one of us is an unstoppable force. We will roll over Scientology and it will fade away into the background noise of billions of people exchanging ideas and doing business and working together. In 100 years, no one will even remember what it is except the odd historian. LRH and his tech and his cult will be a footnote in history. An abomination of the 20th century that was swept aside by the new emerging worldwide human culture of the 21st century. Anonymous is making history. Few will likely remember us for our role here either, but we will always be there, lurking online and in the streets should we be needed again.
Ohhh, Hax(zero)r, There is no disconnection -- as you characterize it. That is what Tommy said and yeah, that is precise and valid. I say there is a procedure called disconnection -- rarely used. And what do you do? You leave out the middle, saying I have disputed Tommy's official word. Cute, but untrue.
But more alarming is the larger potion of your reply that seems to support outright thievery and unlawful reproduction of copyrighted works. That is just plain wrong, you should not persue that area.
Finally, you said, just earlier:
Nope. First you have to get it, then you read it, then you understand it.
This has long been the Church's argument. An individual has the right to think for themselves. If it is your way to get it through some magic that does not involve reading the subject, I can only wish you luck. If it were only that easy. Most of us have to read a page, to understand its information. There are two subjects, you see? One is Scientology. The other might be stated how to criticizeScientology. I understand which subject you are most familar with. I reply because I am familar with the other subject, the one you refuse.
"But more alarming is the larger potion of your reply that seems to support outright thievery and unlawful reproduction of copyrighted works. That is just plain wrong, you should not persue that area."
And what kind of a "religion" has copyrights? Oh, I know! One that acts like a BUSINESS! Why does Scientology get to act like a business while reaping the benefits of tax exempt status? Oh, I know! Because they blackmailed the IRS into giving them such status, through a mysterious meeting David Miscavige had with them.
Disconnection is not rarely used, because many ex-scientologists around the world (including Ida Camburn, who has not seen her son in 30 years) claim that Disconnection exists. Is it a personal choice? Hell no. To quote an article:
"In January 2008, Jenna Miscavige Hill niece of David Miscavige, spoke out about the policy's effect on her family. She revealed that, once her parents left and she remained in the group, she had been forbidden to answer the telephone in case she spoke to them and that her parents only restored occasional access to her by threatening legal action."
If Disconnection were a personal choice, why did the church forbid her to answer the phone? BECAUSE IT'S NOT. No Church has the right to dictate who they can or cannot see.
Disconnection a rarity? Nice try. If what Anonymous is doing to the Cult of $cientology is so unwarranted, why do we have Scientologists on our side? Many Freezoners and ex-Scientologists are out their with us, amongst us, picketing side-by-side.
Wow, Terryeo, that's a lot! It's almsot as bad as the Scientologuists, with all the arson, assault, libel, criminal harassment, and murder....jealous or something?
The following is the sacred document in Scientology known as "OTIII". Scientologists deny it exists as part of their "Operating Thetan" literature. It was written by L. Ron Hubbard in 1967. Hubbard wrote that if you read this document before you have achieved a certain level of Scientology study, you would get pneumonia and die. The current cost to get to that level: $360,000.
"The head of the Galactic Confederation (76 planets around larger stars visible from here) (founded 95,000,000 yrs ago, very space opera) solved overpopulation (250 billion or so per planet-- 178 billion on average) by mass implanting. He caused people to be brought to Teegeeack (Earth) and put an H Bomb on the principal volacnoes (Incident 2) and then the Pacific area ones were taken in boxes to Hawaii and the Atlantic Area ones to Las Palmas and there "packaged." His name was Xenu. He used renegades. Various misleading data by means of circuits etc. was placed in the implants. When through with his crime (R)Loyal Officers (to the people) captured him after 6 years of battle and put him in an electronic mountain trap where he still is. "They" are gone. The place (Confed.) has since been a desert." -Hubbard

The following is the sacred document in Scientology known as "OTIII".
Scientologists deny it exists as part of their "Operating Thetan" literature. It
was written by L. Ron Hubbard in 1967. Hubbard wrote that if you read this
document before you have achieved a certain level of Scientology study, you would get
pneumonia and die. The current cost to get to that level: $360,000.
