The candidates and the press JUST DON'T GET IT

The economy is tanking and the candidates and the press don't understand it and they won't listen to the man who has the answers.

If you watch the main stream media flounder in it's efforts to describe what is happening and why as it pertains to the economy, you can't help but laugh and shake your head in wonderment and frustration all at the same time. Not only do they not get it but neither do the people whom we are depending on to lead us out of this mess.

Ben Bernanke, Paulson, George Bush, Obama and McCain don't "get it". They pushed for a plan that was doomed to fail from the beginning. The FED has been pumping money into the economy faster than Fat Bastard can down an order of wings. It hasn't done any good. Well over a trillion dollars later (not including the bailout) and now the FED has stepped into the short term market (another trillion plus) and credit is frozen more solid than the arctic ice cap. The DOW is dropping to levels not seen since the Dinosaurs last walked the earth and things are only getting WORSE!

So what the hell is their problem? What's not to get? If you continue to print money like it's backed by something, it all has less value.

If credit markets are blocked up like a bad bowel, perhaps it has something to do with the fact that inflation (caused by overprinting of money) is making it more and more difficult for the average person to pay his bills. It might also have something to do with the fact that even though gas is down recently - it is still DOUBLE what it was just 2 years ago.

Hey John, and George and Barack - have you been to a grocery store lately? Do you know how difficult it is to feed a family when a pound of chicken is six or seven dollars and a gallon of milk is almost $5? When was the last time you worried about the price of gas or the fact that the electric utilities boost your costs up every year or the fact that oil has gone up so much thanks to the useless and pointless war in Iraq that it literally costs THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS every winter just to keep from freezing to death? Where do you think that money is coming from? Real wages haven't increased in years. In fact - they have DECREASED. Why? Because trickle down economics is a FAILURE.

Want to boost the economy and the markets? Drop the tax rate on gains from the stock market to ZERO! Want people to have more money to spend? Get rid of the income tax!

Who's been warning us for YEARS that the day of reckoning was coming thanks to government policy and overbearance? Ron Paul - that's who. End the fed! End the income tax! Get out of our lives! We are sick of the government trying to control everything and in the process losing control of everything.

None of you get it and until you do - we're screwed!
