A White (House) Christmas, 2009 Take a whirlwind preview tour of a Ron Paul White House with The Ghost of Christmas Future!by creator

♣ I am not generally characterized as a person who believes in the psychobabble claptrap of "visualizing" nor am I a "faith-healer" type inclined to fall in behind the "Just believe and you'll receive, Hallelujah!" crowd of televangelists. My Calvinist tendencies run deep, turning my thoughts more to lines of "Faith without works is dead!"
And so, the scripture that says "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might!" resonates more strongly with me than most new-age ideas. I therefore continue to take pen in hand to write on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, a man I consider to be the finest presidential candidate running on a major party ticket in my lifetime.
But Ron Paul's tent is a very big tent, and a Ron Paul White House would be a very big White House. And so, whether you are "spiritual" in the traditional religious sense, or whether, as a "modern" American, the concept of liberty simply resounds in your heart and bones, this song's for you!
If you share a capacity to visualize, imagine, and if you are a forward-looking person, Listen very carefully! Do you hear what I hear? It's a melody, wending its way back through time from about two years hence; you might consider it to be "A Ghost of Christmas Future!"...
Here for your singing enjoyment, I am pleased to present:
White House Christmas 2009
(To be sung to the tune of "White Christmas," in an as Bing Crosby - like fashion as possible:)
I'm dreaming of a Paul White House, One where the Constitution's named In hushed tones of honor And people gather To hear liberty proclaimed!
I'm dreaming of a Paul White House, Hear Freedom ring on every hand! Let's end all oppression And spread the lesson of Liberty throughout the land!
I'm dreaming of a Paul White House, With every Christmas card I write! Save our land from tyranny's blight, And set White House Christmases aright!
