Could it be that the so-called "top tier" GOP candidates are, in reality, anything but top tier? I find it interesting that Ron Paul rakes in votes in online polls, and wins almost all of them, while the other candidates consistently lose online polls with dismal numbers. Even more interesting is the other candidates do so well in the so-called "national polls", but Ron Paul shows numbers substantially lower (between 2 and 8 percent). Are the polling agencies contacting people who live in a vacuum, who still use rotary telephones, who still have black and white televisions and iceboxes in their kitchens? Who the hell are taking these "national polls?"
Am I to believe that the ONLY people who support Ron Paul are exclusively internet users and 20-somethings? Do none of the other candidates have supporters who use the internet and take the time to answer online polls? One would assume if they had all the support the MSM and national polls claim they have, there would be fired up supporters turning out to wave signs, mail letters, call voters, buy blimps, drop "money bombs", and vote in the internet polls. Giuliani and Romney supporters would get on the internet and start posting and voting in online polls to raise up their choice for the next president. But, I don't see that at all. I suspect the internet users who support the NeoCon implants eventually learn the truth about these "favorite sons" from the internet. After the stark truth is revealed, many either give up and continue in apathy, or they begin to research, and then support a man who can truly make a difference in our politics and our country today. That man may very well be Ron Paul.
Sure, the other candidates have websites, Myspace pages, and videos on Youtube, but none are anything like those of Ron Paul. I don't see people replacing their profile picture on Myspace with that of Huckabee, Romney, or even Rudy or McCain. I've watched videos of Rudy, Romney, McCain and the rest. I've not yet watched one video about the "front runners" that brought a lump to my throat like the Ron Paul videos I've watched. When I watch the other guys, I see right through their B.S., and more times than not, I just get angry and shut them off. None of their material has any passion or substance like the videos produced by Paulites - all the "top tier" candidates' material seems contrived and forced mostly just standard, boring campaign spots with no flavor, no spice, no emotion.
I've not yet seen supporters of the "top tier" canditates do this for their man:
Something else that is decidedly lacking when I watch "the other guy's" stuff on the internet: Rudy, Mitt, McCain, Thompson - none of them have throngs of happy, enthusiastic supporters around them chanting their name like Ron Paul does. Nowhere do I see the fire and passion for a man than at a Ron Paul rally, whether its ten people or one thousand. The only people I see around Giuliani most of the time are reporters, cameramen, and body guards. Where I live here in Southern Maryland, I've not seen ONE SINGLE sign for another candidate from either party, EXCEPT FOR RON PAUL. If the "front runners" where truly "top tier", with 30% polling rates, wouldn't we see campaign signs on overpasses and intersections? Wouldn't we see bumper stickers and t-shirts? I've seen none of these things for anybody EXCEPT Ron Paul. In fact, the only other campaign bumper stickers I've seen are 2004 "W" decals (if I had one, I'd have taken off long ago, burned it, and sent it to the Republican National Committee - just kidding).
I went to Meetup.com, and I found a very interesting piece of information. Everybody who knows about Ron Paul's campaign knows that it is truly grass roots. You can go to the page I went to for this information at http://www.meetup.com/topics/polact/cand/. Here is what I found:
Ron Paul has 1406 Meetup groups (one of which I organize here in Calvert County, MD). The next candidate to even come close is Huckabee with 251 groups. Our so-called front runner, Rudy Giuliani comes in with a big, resounding GOOSE EGG. That's right. The candidate the MSM would have us all believe is the leader of the pack does not have one single Meetup group listed at the site. The man who saved and united New York City on 9/11 (so he claims, but is discounted by every New Yorker I've talked to) can't even get one person to start a Meetup? Romney only comes in with nine groups. How are these men the front runners? If they were so popular, and so compelling, wouldn't they have a following of people who took to the streets (and the internet) to get them elected?
The fact, in my humble opinion, is this: The candidates, whom the MSM touts as "top tier", and "front runner", are anything but. The national polls are fixed or skewed to fit what the Establishment desires. "Fringe" candidates are marginalized or omitted completely from these "polls." The "popular" candidates derive their popularity not from what they stand for, but from media hype fueled by special interests, big bankers, and corporations with an agenda contrary to our Constitutional and moral principles. They push this agenda, and the candidate they believe is the best spokesman to push it. Have you noticed that, with the exception of Ron Paul and Denis Kucinich, candidates from both sides of the aisle are saying EXACTLY the same thing while bashing each other at the same time? Americans like me are beginning to see this, and they're fed up with it.
The truth is in the numbers. Ron Paul's campaign has raised over $18 Million so far in this, the fourth quarter, 2007, and is on track to surpass $20 Million by month's end. None of the other candidates has been able to do this. Their contributions dropped last quarter, and I project they will drop in this quarter. Where are the contributions going? I'd hazard a guess and say most are going to a doctor named Ron Paul. You see, the MSM, the pundits, the taking heads, the newspapers, they all don't get IT. "It" is the giant elephant sitting in the living room that nobody notices. "It" is the fact that our president is the emperor in his underwear, but believes he's wearing his Sunday best. "It" is the very stark fact that our country is on a downslide, and people just aren't going to stand for it much longer. And when Ron Paul wins in New Hampshire, then in Iowa, the Establishment will be rocked. They will have realized too late that their days are numbered. Maybe then they will take this "freedom thing" seriously, and give credit to the man who truly deserves it, Dr. Ron Paul.

So, what do you think will be pulled when it comes to voting in the primaries? I have a bad feeling that votes will be discounted, the machines will vote Romney, or that Paul supporters will be turned away for wearing a candidate badge. (check stops, you name it) Is there a way to insure the voting doesn't get tampered with?
