Election 2008 is less than two months away Are you informed?by Darryl W. Perry

With less than two months until the November election, expect the TV & Print media to increase their coverage of the upcoming election. As a note, you should not expect much (if any) coverage of candidates such as Ralph Nader, Chuck Baldwin, Cynthia McKinney or Bob Barr (all of whom will be on the ballot in enough States to hold an Electoral College majority). You should also not expect much coverage of Brian Moore, Diane Templin, Charles Jay or a host of other Presidential candidates that will be on the ballot on one or more States. The media doesn't want you to know your options when you step into the voting booth. This doesn't even take into account the hundreds of "minor party" candidates running for US House, US Senate and State and local offices across the country.
However, there are alternatives to the MSM; most being on the web. Most of these sites get their information from surveys and questionnaires that are sent to candidates. And there are organizations from every part of the political spectrum that put out information in an attempt to educate voters.
I will not list every voter education resource, but will give a few, I also encourage you to find others by doing a web search.
