The media won't tell you why they really hate Palin, probably never will. by Dan Steward

The typical double standards of the mainstream media abound. It's part and parcel for their very existence and they nightly pray to whatever passes for their "God" that us "useless eaters" they have such loathing for, won't form a large enough majority of Americans to catch on to their vile doings.
The non-story about her pregnant daughter wouldn't get a first writing anywhere if it were about a candidate that is pro-statist. "Troopergate" likewise is a joke. Nope, she opposes the failed concept of big government and that's why she has taken on so much heat. Making a mountain out of a molehill is only necessary when you have a press that longs to wipe out the idea they can't accept. All other points are moot. The misdeeds of business as usual politicians is totally ignored because they play the state's game.
I'm no fan of the Republican ticket. I won't vote for Sarah Palin simply because she is joined at the hip to the warmongering lummox known as John McCain. The GOP has long ago abandoned any semblance of being a party that stands for limited government, freedom, or the free market.
Yet, Sarah Palin is being lambasted by fools with journalism degrees who mistakenly believe themselves the almighty arbiters of how we should all live our lives. That is where I draw my line in the sand. Mrs. Palin believes in liberty and The Constitution even though she'll have to set those rare and precious views aside by accepting the role as McCain's running mate. She still deserves fair treatment that she simply won't get at the hands of a dubious press with an anti-freedom agenda.
That's the gist of it. Our media has a vested interest, be they left or right, in the furtherance of the power of the state. They just don't have the decency or the guts to tell anyone outright. It's their dirty secret that would bring down their shabby empire in a heartbeat if it were brought to light. As more people wake up to the notion that they've been had, the MSM loses more and more of it's market share to alternative outlets that place a much higher priority on spreading the truth to the masses.

Dan, I concur with your analysis. Palin has a certain amount of libertarian DNA in her that comes out in ways that make the statist Left very uncomforable. I would add that Palin is also a pro-life Christian, and they hate her for keeping a baby that they would have seen flushed into the sewer in pieces. She had the audacity to demonstrate her strong convictions, and they feel exposed and condemned in the face of it.

The elites are showing their contempt for the masses by showing their disdain for SP. She is undeniably attractive physicaly and politically, but there is no way I can support her. She is McCain's running mate, after all.
The main nexus for the Dominionists is the "Committee on National Policy", which strangely includes non-Christian organizations such as, yes, The Church of Scientology.
The leading "Dominionist" church is MorningStar ministries, which despite being a Christian church, leans heavily on "supernatural" themes and blatantly uses the Scientology Cross in their logo:
Guess she thinks animal cruelty is alright, too. Strange to me because I believe animals are one of Gods creatures and she wants us to think she is so religious.
