Since the American MSM media won't cover it, I will. As previously reported in my July article "Utter Chaos in Afghanistan and Pakistan as Barack Obama Sanctions Preemptive War" events are moving quickly towards destabilization and increased war in Central Asia, as America's imperialist inventionalist foreign policies continue. What blowback will we experience next?
The Associated Press and UK's The Guardian have reported an anonymous American official confirmed an American attack helicopter strike on September 4th utilizing ground troops killed at least 15 Pakistanis, some reportedly women and children, in the small village of Jala Khel, 1 mile from the Afghanistan border. It is the first confirmed incursion by American ground forces, though unmanned Predator drone attacks are already infamous in the tribal areas for their high civilian casualty counts.
The American attack was condemned by Pakistan's parliament and the American ambassador was summoned to explain our country's actions.
Dana Perino, a Bush mouthpiece from the White House, declined to comment about the attack. "We have not commented, and I won't today," Perino told reporters as the Edmonton Sun of Canada reports. Thank you, Mrs. Government, and I won't even bother to ask if the Congress declared war, that is such an anachronistic feature of our Constitution (Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11). In modern times, I need to read the foreign press, and then figure out for myself when we start a new preemptive war designed to beat the both the terrorists and foreign civiians into submission.

For those not following Pakistan closely, its government is in utter chaos, and the foreign policies of Bush, McCain and especially Obama are very much aggravating the situation. You can read more research from here. As usual, the US government either has a very poor grasp of localized geopolitics, or far more likely, just does not care since we are attacking for our own elite’s geopolitical purposes.
Can anyone tell me why approximately we had to attack Pakistan to protect my freedom? Can anyone tell me how the deaths of 15 Pakistani civilians make me any safer? You will forget this article right after you read it, but maybe one day you will remember it when one of their children blows up your parent or child in revenge.
The Americans troops that will die tomorrow are dying for the sins of today. Remember that when you wave your yellow ribbon in utter ignorance. You think you support the troops? I think not.
Those who really appreciate our troops want them home ASAP. McCain and the Barackcuda do not. Remember THAT when you vote for one of these two warmongers in November.
You want to go after Iran because they might someday get nuclear weapons? You may need to wait until later this month when the battle fleet from Operation Brimstone moves into position. First, we have to destabilize Pakistan, a country which already has WMD.

Good article. Unfortunately I have no idea how to get our country back under control. A tiny percentage of Americans will vote for candidates who actually support the constitution and sane government. But most seem to fall into one of two camps. One camp just wants government to give them free stuff. The other camp wants the US military to kick somebody's ass. It doesn't matter who or why, just so long a we're beating up someone.

Assume you've already joined C4L. Really our only hope has 2 words - local politics. Being overseas like me sometimes sucks, so I actually can't comment on whether this is a valid hope or not.
Meanwhile, like I wrote in the link below, I just keep throwing snowballs. Aim for the eyes, and packing in stones is fair game. The only way to win is mind by mind, and the people who join must do it freely. RP's speech at the rally included this element, think he estimated we really only need 5-10% of the population really stirred up about this.
Perhaps another war will bring more people to the cause. Its hard to imagine Mrs. Smith driving her kids to soccer practice being prowar. Its hard to imagine Joe or Jane College being prowar. Personally I am astounded by how many dudes are against all these wars, its a great issue to debate on as the moral high ground is irrevocably the antiwars. People just dont understand the violence that they are allowing to be unleashed.
I think there is hope and I think there are people out there who may join later. At least at the C4L website we finally have a place to stand and be counted
I will tell you why we Americans are waging a war against Pakistan. Because it is the epicenter of terrorism, a danger to us and we need to take them out.
We Americans have voted for our leaders and our leaders do what we voters want them to do. So there !!
