Bad News For Froggie But Not For Ron Paul

The biggest mistake the Liberals have ever made.
by Jim ODonnell

This articles is intended for our liberal new member on Nolan Chart [ http://nolanchart.com ] who goes by the name Frogboy25, but it may also be helpful for all "closet" liberals.

What happened guys?

The liberals were running things in the US like they owned the place and all of a sudden "kaput." At about the same time as the USSR went down the tubes the "fine" tradition of the liberals, really started with gusto under FDR, just vanished almost overnight and they delivered a "monster" which they had created into the hands of their worst enemies.

I know, I know it is a-ok to use the State for economic purposes to "obtain" the needed resources to give to the poor, right? But stay out of my bedroom!

[added later] If you want to know the current "thinking" of the socialist [they think that they are liberals] click here: http://mrzine.monthlyreview.org/wolf111207.html

Well, suckers, power doesn't work that way. Once you had created the machinery of State power it can be used by anyone in power to do whatever they want to do. Isn't that the way you had it set up for yourselves?

Then beginning with "Pappy" GHWB, then Bill Clinton, and now GWB [ and next Hillary?] the globalists began to change things a lot: unions into the dumpster, jobs to anywhere except to Americans, Anti-war folks rounded up by Bill Clinton, wars all over the place whenever someone desired it and for any reason, etc.

Woops, this is not what we had intended, is it? Does it surprise you that people inside the USSR set up by Lenin, called [very secretly] Joseph Stalin a Fascist Pig? Well now "weep not" at the monster you created fast becoming a Fascist State because you are also responsible. Like in Nazi Germany, Hitler's first priority was to eliminate all the Communists who were his only real political competition. Now it's your turn right here in the good-old-USA.

Don't like it very much do you? Well there is now just one way out of this mess. The way out is to dismantle the power apparatus of the State so that no one can use it for any Unconstitutional purpose anymore.

Sad to tell you this Froggie, but if you want it stopped then you had better support Ron Paul and also pray a lot.

One of the interesting things about my liberal stances, is that I realized that the central idea was indeed, too large and too far away for humane collectivism to be effective. I still believe in pooling funds to stave off suffering within the society in which I live. Communal living has brought the human race this far, and it will continue to carry her.

But you are right that the great usurpation of power to one central place has undermined both the effectivenss and the accountability of governance, and granted power and control as a side-effect. to those who would do mischief with it.

To Scott From Oregon:

Although I may disagree with your ideas, in a free [Ron Paul] society, no one would try (or should want to) stop you from setting up communal living groups all over the place.

Come to think of it there once was this place called America which had, Quakers, Morman Biggamy, etc and often did care very much what anyone else did. But no more with wealfare and state run marriage laws.

Too bad as I am from Philadelphia, and in Lancaster Country you could get really good "shoo-fly-pie" piled high under tons of wipped cream from those crazy people driving black, horse drawn carrages down a lot of country roads.

Well, you obviously misinterpreted what I meant by "communal".

Fire services are communal. So are schools (public). SO are streets that are paved. So are street lights and traffic lights.

WHen you call the police because you are being harrassed, you are tapping into the communal nature of society.

When you chip in cans at your food bank, you are participating in a communal endeavor.

It is ludicrous to assume society can function with 300 million "individuals" doing whatever they want. Society by definition, requires communal agreement.

No I didn't misinterpret but was just giving you the "outside" limit of communal ideas. I don't avocate a government free society nor does Ron Paul.

You will and should always have both local and state governements who "work" in a variety of ways. Some even now have fire departments which are purchased from private business.

It wasn't until about the 1920's that "public education" became common. Until then it was mostly local or religious and was "paid" for by a wide variety of means, including charity.

No it is not impossible for a country of 300 million or even 3 billion to live this way. If you think that then you are in effect saying that the system which built the country prior to 1930 and created most of the wealth on which it still lives, cannot be trusted to "move it forward."

This is believe is not true.
