Iran and Georgia: President Bush, Why Don't You Just Shut Up? I compare a video from Fox with a quote from the Russian Pravda newspaper. To my chagrin but not surprise, I agree with the Russians. Also not to my surprise, Ron Paul predicted the Georgian war - in 2002.by Jake Towne, the Champion of the Constitution

In a follow-up to my recent article on the American armada heading for Iran after completing Operation Brimstone and my guesswork that the Georgian War may have been related and/or will help cover a financial crash, I wish to share with you some "news." The first is a video from Fox News interviewing a 12-year-old American girl and her South Ossetian aunt who was in South Ossetia's capital city when the Georgians attack. [The Ossetians sure look like Iranians, oh wait they are related!] The commentor cutting them off like that reminds me of the Republican debates.
Why don’t you shut up? In your statement on Monday regarding the legitimate actions of the Russian Federation in Georgia, you failed to mention the war crimes perpetrated by Georgian military forces, which American advisors support, against Russian and Ossetian civilians
"President Bush,
Why don’t you shut up? Your faithful ally, Mikhail Saakashvili, was announcing a ceasefire deal while his troops, with your advisors, were massing on Ossetia’s border, which they crossed under cover of night and destroyed Tskhinvali, targeting civilian structures just like your forces did in Iraq.
"President Bush,
Why don’t you shut up? Your American transport aircraft gave a ride home to thousands of Georgian soldiers from Iraq directly into the combat zone.
"President Bush,
Why don’t you shut up? How do you account for the fact that among the Georgian soldiers fleeing the fighting yesterday you could clearly hear officers using American English giving orders to "Get back inside" and how do you account for the fact that there are reports of American soldiers among the Georgian casualties?
"President Bush,
Why don’t you shut up? Do you really think anyone gives any importance whatsoever to your words after 8 years of your criminal and murderous regime and policies? Do you really believe you have any moral ground whatsoever and do you really imagine there is a single human being anywhere on this planet who does not stick up his middle finger every time you appear on a TV screen?
Do you really believe you have the right to give any opinion or advice after Abu Ghraib? After Guantanamo? After the massacre of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens? After the torture by CIA operatives?
Do you really believe you have any right to make a statement on any point of international law after your trumped-up charges against Iraq and the subsequent criminal invasion?
"President Bush,
Why don’t you shut up? Suppose Russia for instance declares that Georgia has weapons of mass destruction? And that Russia knows where these WMD are, namely in Tblisi and Poti and north, south, east and west of there? And that it must be true because there is ‘magnificent foreign intelligenc’ such as satellite photos of milk powder factories and baby cereals producing chemical weapons and which are currently being ‘driven around the country in vehicles’? Suppose Russia declares for instance that ‘Saakashvili stiffed the world’ and it is ‘time for regime change’?
Well, sorry any of you "patriotic" Americans, I agree with Pravda. To be more precise, I also agree with what Dr. Paul said in 2002 about preemptive as he predicted the Georgian War, just not exactly how it started. And the United States has zero validity for starting a war with Russia.
And what if - WHAT IF - I am right and this is all related?

Well said, I agree. American peoples must break that media cartel owned by a handful, otherwise guys like Bush and son, McCain, Clinton, Obama will be, again, the standard.
Since all those .., peoples have yeoman personality, one can wonder which few are really in charge?
Pravda, Russian for truth. Used to be the party newspaper for the Communist party. Outstanding. Its cool how its still owned by the State of Russia. I'm sure those editors at that paper is unbiased and not in the pocket of the new Czar, Putin.

Matt -
Yeah, and its pretty tough to cope with it, I know... It's a tough day when you take the blinders off, and realize Russian propaganda is more truthful than the American.
Necessary comparison. Well put. It reminds me of hearing how Israelis and everyone else in the world, except Americans of course, believed Hassan Nasrallah's accounts of Israel-Lebanon '06, over what Israeli and U.S. leaders were telling them. On the brinkmanship aspect... It probably only takes a short study of NATO's m.o., '91–present, to confidently size up (pun intended) the end game for the globalist, hyper-interventionist subverters in the U.S. government. (To me, NATO is a tool for neocon-Likudnik enrichment via U.S. empire. At the expense of Russia's security and 99.x% of Americans' prosperity, of course.)
As far as other ends and fronts factoring in, well, there is ample reason to surmise an Iranian-shakedown connection. Here are some thnigs I've been tossing around my hollowness up top:
— distracting, preoccupying, and ultimately neutralizing Russia in case of attack on Iran;
— weakening Russia's resolve, or credibility, in its opposition to the "diplomatic" shakedown of Iran;
— simply tormenting Russia for not exactly toeing the neocon line against Iran and Syria all these years (much profit in tormenting these days); and
— mercantilist brinkmanship, which I'm not well versed to touch on, though it seems to me that all these war-schemers have an oil, gas, coal, or arms stake or three. I tend to stay away from theories on mercantilism; but, while listening to the wind through the Mimosa the other day, I heard that them thar Caucasian valleys might just make ideal "trade routes" or even a "prospectors paradise," so long as they're "secured." Which brings me to what I overheard a mockingbird saying to a squirrel last week: "Those Caucasian mountains might just make prime real estate for underground silos and surface radars."
Of course I don't suspect too many people buy, for one second, the "anti-Iranian missile defense" argument by the NATO-neoconnivers... and the unavoidable other-person's flatulence in the elevator last night. And obviously, all of these schemes are illicit, extremely dangerous, and — without question — ill-advised (for sane persons not absolutely jaded and blinded by sadistic greed, that is).
And then there's the ethnic-cleansing-for-the-sake-of-rubbing-out-those-damn-speedbumps-to-empire-and-especially-those-dirty-Iranian-types-who-put-up-resistance-those-damn-Iranian-types angle:
"Ethnically, the Ossetians are of Iranian stock and speak their own language, which is closely related to Pashto, and more distantly to Farsi. They claim to be the descendents of the ancient Alanian and Scythian tribes and therefore to have been inhabiting the South Caucasus for thousands of years. The Georgians, on the other hand, are a Caucasian people and speak a language belonging to the Caucasian family. The Georgians also claim to have ancient roots in the South Caucasus, while at the same time arguing that the Ossetians only migrated to the Caucasus between the 17th and 19th centuries. Along religious lines, both are predominately Orthodox Christian, with a Sunni Islam minority among the Ossetians. Therefore, the conflict between the two peoples is not based on religion, but rather on ethnicity, and territory."
