How to Handle Fear-Mongering Transmitters and the Big Media / YouTube Fear Profiteers
After being sent a 'Martial Law' email by a detroit Ron Paul admirer that I've never met, I thought I would give the public a chance to view the video and determine for themselves if this is simply more mass-distraction / fear-mongering, or is actually newsworthy. What happened next is I outlined my turnkey solution to help alleviate irrational fears in self and others. by Nickalis N. Tower

This email entered by inbox one day, and here's the glorious, fearful subject line:
MARTIAL LAW
and here's the glorious, fearful body of the message:
"NEW YORK BEGINS MARTIAL LAW ACTIVITY!"
"Martial Law Activity -- See CNN report of 8-13-08"
Consider consider this 'Anti-Irrational-Fear Technique' (AIF Technique) (coined by me).
Anyone that receives a fear-mongering YouTube video link should watch it once, give it a day, then watch it again. That will give your mind time to digest the content, and will permit you to more honestly judge it. Then rate it, on a scale of 1-5.
1 - No big deal
2 - Makes you think
3 - Makes you Concerned
4 - Makes you Fearful
5 - Makes you change your life it's so scary
If someone's fear-mongering video scares you to the point of altering your entire life, then keep in mind the source. Big media productions are produced by emotion-manipulating experts. Ever hear of psy-ops? Counter Intelligence? Governments press the hot buttons of sex, violence, and fear of their populations all the time. That's the trifecta of government control of the masses. This is not fear-mongering, it's a fact. Read 'Liberal Fascism' by John Goldberg, and open your eyes to the fact that the elite are profiting off your fear.
The only way we can find the courage to make serious changes in the political establishment is for 'We the People' to dump our fears.
Democrats should dump the DNC, whose party platform revolves around Republican demonizing and fear-mongering.
Republicans should dump the GOP, whose party platform revolves around Democrat demonizing and fear-mongering.
Libertarians should dump the Libertarian Pary, whose party platform revolves around amoral chaos and fear-mongering.
For all you card-carrying Americans who believe your poltical membership is your security blanket (recalling the fact that you live in fear and toe the party line because of the party psy-ops against you), I ask you: wouldn't it be great to join a Party that is based on 1) Non-Force, 2) Individual Rights (based on reality, not some group's religion, not some group's elitist clique), 3) Principles that permit a rational and explicit PLAN for disassembling big government from the ground-up, via choice, instead of top-down, via force, and 4) No fear-mongering, just honesty (and sometimes there are genuine things to fear, just to be honest).
Keep that in perspective when you watch any regular news broadcasts. Individual media productions like on YouTube, are typically made by people who are swallowing fear stories for no rational reason, and passing it on. The name of today's game is TV viewership so that the big media companies can make money on advertising dollars. In order to do that, sound bites that press your fear button are transmitted over and over again.
"TRANSMIT THE SOUND BITE"... GOOD PARROT, DON'T THINK, JUST TRANSMIT IT! And the fear virus spreads like wildfire on the internet.
Think for yourself, and don't get turned off by someone promoting fear. Challenge them by asking "why are you afraid?"... the word why is the most powerful tool in your arsenal against the fear-mongers. Their unreality is revealed, and thus you will defend your own rationality.
And being known as a cool cucumber is much better than being known as a chicken little whose day is filled with with little thinking and much squawking.
Regarding my Armageddon article
The article I reference below I wrote because I'm a concerned American, and it fully expresses not only my view of today's America, but it also opened the door to my catharsis - opened the way for me to dump my fear of the world.
I guess you can say I had peaked at 5 some time ago, then reduced myself to level 4, and now have further scaled my fear from 3 to 2. That's using my fear scale above (The Tower Fear scale? Sounds good, I'll use it).
Cognitive Tools
What that means is I have the cognitive tools for swatting down those irrational fears that try to enter my personal world on a daily basis. I don't use hypnosis, I don't use "positive thinking" or "feel good slogans". I use negativity. It's like sucking the life out of something. Making it shrivel and go away. Blasting something into pieces. Psychologically, I can shoot holes into those irrational fears via clear thinking, because I attach EXACT MEANING TO WORDS. A simple dictionary, the simple word why, and asking myself 'what is it?" are the means by which I can jack-hammer fear in others down to rational levels while defending my own world from being "verbally polluted" by fear mongering.
For those who previously have read the article below and thought my 'solution' wasn't satisfying.
If you are at level 2 on my fear scale, then you may be a political activist who is actively wanting to fix some the problems you see in the world. If so, that's good, because it means your rational fears can be used to drive you to look for a constructive and rational solutions. If you, like me, want to change the world, and you are 3 or higher, like I used to be, and hopeless about 'fixing the world', then you may be the perfect candidate for the next major political movement. The one that will prove to be the wrecking ball of the LP, the GOP, and the DNC. Ron Paul has driven a stake in the LP, and pulverized it, the GOP has been self-splintering for years, as has the DNC.
Be ready for the day when that new political party is announce. It will be the first moral political party on earth, and it won't be theocratic, and it won't be communist or socialist or progressive or any other "Bad-Idea-Party" resurrected from America's turbelent past.
Be ready for the 2nd American Revolution.
This time, all we'll have to do is vote. In record numbers.
Be ready! 2012 is the goal. The hidden people are in motion.
Be ready! Here comes rational hope!
No violence, just Persuasion.
The anti-fear-mongers have arrived. I'm the first of many to come.
