At a fund raising event Sunday night in Littleton, Colorado, Libertarian nominee for president Bob Barr told a group of supporters, "I am against the Cuban embargo."
Barr, smoking a non-Cuban cigar in the backyard of Travis Nicks, Libertarian Party of Colorado Chairman, said he would lift the embargo against Cuba as President.
Barr told the group of supporters that more information would be forthcoming in the near future about his position on the Cuban embargo.

It's time to review the morality of using food as a weapon. After 50 years, it hasn't been very effective against Fidel. He's outlived Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, and Reagan. If you count Clinton, Carter and HW Bush, Castro's rule outlasted eight U.S Presidents, and most of a ninth.
It's good to hear that he has reversed his previous position (vote) on this issue. I wonder if he continues to support "increased political and economic pressure" on Iran, as he wrote recently.
