There have been many Hussein in the history of humankind as notorious or as famous (Saddam Hussein ,the unforgetable) depending on whether thou art al Tikriti or not.I am not intending to make an exhaustive list of husseins.
The issue at stake is one's man/woman meat(because I see that ladies do eat meat) is another man/woman's poison.That was just a parenthesis
The name Hussein notably has encountered diverse fortunes as it is possible to see that the then master of Baghdad ,I have named Saddam Hussein had ended tragically .We have other Hussein with great aura notably King Hussein of Jordan .
Now comes the American Hussein as no one expected him in few months he has become the candidate designate.He blew out of the presidential race (at least as candidate designate of the democrats), the american iron lady: Hillary Rodham Clinton . People have started falling in love with Hussein ."We love hussein " ,"In Hussein we Trust". I guess in" Hussein we change" or in "Hussein we Believe".
Definitely people gave no chance to someone who has come to represent the American dream the anathemised name Hussein will soon become like the name Jesus (with due respect).
I see the swearing of oath. A great jubilating crowd, a myriad of VIPs'.I hear «I, Barack Hussein OBAMA..... as president elect of United States is to protect the rights of all American citizens...» «Believe me », people will say: «it is a miracle .I will ask which miracle?» I will hear:« don't you see a Black president for America.» I will say:« which black president? This is just a dutiful American citizen. Certainly a law-abiding fellow not like some other president, ransacking deceiving, killing and torturing under the fallacious pretence of a war on terror .A fictitious war indeed" I will hear:« watch out what you say.» And I will reply:« We are not in a banana republic .Watch out what you hear or rather hear out what you watch .No Nonsense please .Do you think I am a damn fool ?»
Indeed we are about in few months to come to see the realisation of the Doctor King's catchword «I have a dream».
Some of the tenacious detractors of Hussein Barack Obama have become his most enthusiastic supporters? Impressive .
It will interesting in these circumstances to see how challenging it will be to cast one's vote in favour of the one least awaited ,least hoped for and maybe ,least expected becoming the first Hussein to be democratically elected in the history of the Global Village.
