BREAKING NEWS!! The Democrats have joined the NeoCons! War with Iran it is! Okay, the Truth is not exactly Breaking News but read House Concurrent Resolution 362 anyways. The March Towards Hell Continues.by Jake, the Champion of the Constitution

Michael Scheuer gave a moving speech with practical solutions about the Wars on Terrors at the Revolution March last weekend.
Here is an excerpt:
"There is not a nickel’s worth of difference between President Bush and former president Clinton; between Senator McCain and Senator Obama; between Speaker Pelosi and Mayor Giuliani, or between any of the foregoing and their pro-empire, Israel-first cheerleaders at the Council of Foreign Relations, the National Endowment for Democracy, and the America-Israel Political Action Committee. They are all rank and reckless interventionists, bent on involving America in other peoples’ wars and content to see our republic destroyed by their ego-building and democracy-crusading military adventures overseas."
When I heard it for the first time, I agreed but thought it was a little strong to compare Pelosi with Giuliani. Then I remembered Pelosi’s semi-treasonous speeches to the Israeli AIPAC lobby, and the failure of the Democrats she leads to stop the Wars after being elected to do so in 2006. Then I saw this alert from Pat Buchanan titled "A Phony Crisis" about Iran. In it, he complains that one of Pelosi’s Goons, Rep. Gary Ackerman D-NY has introduced a bill, House Concurrent Resolution 362 proposing to blockade Iran. And 220 Democratic Goons and Neocons in the House have endorsed it! (Translation: This is a 50.5% majority, this bill is going to PASS! Don't you love democracy!) While I wrote a long time ago that the Bush administration already declared Financial War on Iran, which most Dems supported, I did not think the Dems would be so brazen to foist a warmongering piece of trash like this:
"Now, therefore, be it that Congress… urges the President, in the strongest of terms, to immediately use his existing authority to impose sanctions on (A) the Central Bank of Iran and any other Iranian bank engaged in proliferation activities or the support of terrorist groups; (B) international banks which continue to conduct financial transactions with proscribed Iranian banks; (C) energy companies that have invested $20,000,000 or more in the Iranian petroleum or natural gas sector in any given year since the enactment of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996; and (D) all companies which continue to do business with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps;
[Congress] demands that the President initiate an international effort to immediately and dramatically increase the economic, political, and diplomatic pressure on Iran to verifiably suspend its nuclear enrichment activities by, inter alia, prohibiting the export to Iran of all refined petroleum products; imposing stringent inspection requirements on all persons, vehicles, ships, planes, trains, and cargo entering or departing Iran; and prohibiting the international movement of all Iranian officials not involved in negotiating the suspension of Iran's nuclear program; and urges the President to lead a sustained, serious, and forceful effort at regional diplomacy to support the legitimate governments in the region against Iranian efforts to destabilize them, to reassure our friends and allies that the United States supports them in their resistance to Iranian efforts at hegemony, and to make clear to the Government of Iran that the United States will protect America's vital national security interests in the Middle East."
My brief reply is as follows. First, CONGRESS ALREADY DECLARED FINANCIAL WAR on Iranian banks and threatened any European or other banks that do business with them way back in March! And as for C+D, anyone willing to bet we didn’t already sanction that?
Second, just a translation. Since Iran has little refining capacity of its own, we are threatening to shut off their energy supply – sort of like Russia taking over our refineries on the coasts to block transport. Then we want to search everyone and thing entering or leaving Iran (great we can then send TSA over there to confiscate THEIR toothpaste, contact lens solution, and water bottles to protect THEM from the Terrorists!) THEN we want to block all Iranian government officials from going anywhere, even to say, Iraq for some dates and camel’s milk to discuss how are they ever going to get rid of these silly Infidels with all the guns.
Lastly, I just have to say my bed is shaking as I shiver in fright under my covers at the Big, Bad Iranian Hegemon-Pokemon. Hello, UNITED STATES! LOOK IN A MIRROR!
On a more lucid note, besides the usual suspicions that Israel controls America’s foreign policy, I fear that Iran’s decision to open an Oil Bourse trading in Euros and Yen, which they certainly have a right to do, with or without our Financial War Sanctions, is a Kiss of Death for America’s Servicemen-and-women as well as a lot of Iranians to die. Hope to document this in more coherent detail in a future column. As Scheuer said on Saturday, We the People are powerless to stop these Wars unless we speak out. For instance, who doesn't think that the United States would immediately go to War in Saudi Arabia if that lovely police state had, say, a civil war that disrupts "Our Oil" supply.
In case you are looking for something to do about this, here are a few quick ideas –
2) The bill hasn't passed yet, and the vote may still be close! Tell your warmongering Democratic representative and senator what you think by joining www.downsizedc.org. Select one of the form letter topics on Iran and add a little personal flair and send them a letter. Or just call them up. (7/19 update: Just received an email from DownsizeDC that Rep Wexler D-Fl has changed his mind on the bill due to response from his constituents. Here is the link to the topic at downsizedc, and also the note about Wexler.)
3) Don’t waste your time asking McCain or Obama to help you. They won’t.
4) Ask the closest Democratic friend you have, just who do the Democrats think they are, flaunting the Constitution like the Neocons!
5) Are you really a Patriot? Watch Ron Paul’s stirring speech on the House floor, "In the Name of Patriotism"
Preemptive War and Freedom Video Clips Published: May 16, 2008 Sick of war? Maybe you missed a clip or two. Are you Insane like Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura, Mike Gravel or are you unAmerican like Cheney, Clinton, McCain, and Obama?
We the People versus the Might of the US Government Published: March 2, 2008 What do the experiences of SAS trooper Ben Griffin, Hope Steffey, and Jose Padilla all have in common? They show the Might of Government is overwhelming Right. We the People want Justice!

House Resoluton 362 is wrong.
Why should we oppose Iran obtaining nuclear weapons?
Why should we oppose any nation obtaining nuclear weapons?
Not only is it a violation of those nations right to develop their military,,, it is futile to do so.
Stopping the spread of Nuclear Weapons is like stopping the spread of the internet. Sooner or later everyone is going to have access. This is a good thing. This is progress.
Mutually assured destruction kept the peace between the United States and the Soviet Union for decades. Mutually assured destruction made war obsolete because it made war unthinkable.
In the future, any conflict, anywhere on Earth will be able to become a nuclear inferno. Humanity will have no choice but to work towards peaceful compromise on every issue. Reason shall prevail as it has always done.
Imagine how much safer and peaceful our world shall become once everyone who wants an atomic bomb is able to have one.
I would think Mrs Pelosi would better serve her constiuents if she went to a grange meeting rather then a bunch of Jews which by name is representative of Antichrist government of imposters in Israeli land> they are no more Israelites than my dog. Check it out, especially if your name is John Hagee or john McCain.
