The growth of readership here at the Nolan Chart has been staggering of late. We're setting new records every month. It's exciting for us to watch, and I hope it's exciting for you as well, our loyal columnists and readers!
Along with the growth comes certain risks and problems. This article is being presented to let you know that progress is being made in addressing problems regarding violations of our terms of service and our reporting mechanism.
First, I want to let everyone know that there was a problem with our violation reporting system. Reports were being dropped because of a javascript hand-off issue. That issue has been corrected. Now that we are receiving all violation reports, we will investigate them fully. If you previously submitted a violation report and have not heard back from us, please resubmit again using the corrected system. Just go to the article where the violation occurred and click on the Report Violation link for either the article itself or for the appropriate Reader Comment.
Second, I want to remind everyone that the Terms of Service are easily viewed by anyone who wishes to view them. Just click on the Terms of Service link at the bottom of every article, or click here to view them now. They can also be viewed by clicking the Report Violation links.
We welcome responsible reports of such violations from all our readers and contributors. Rest assured, we will treat them seriously. If you don't hear back from us, use our Contact page to find out why you didn't hear back. Make sure you supply an email address where we can reach you!
By the way, anyone may become a columnist by clicking the Be A Columnist link at the top of every page on the website. You will be required to commit to agreeing to honor and protect our terms of service policy as a prerequisite for becoming a columnist.
